Always happy when Serendipity is recognized. I would even put it on number 1 in this video. Very underrated. Like you said, you have to belive that these two belong together and I do, I really do.

Serendipity is my favorite romantic comedy. First time I watched it I cried at the end. Plus the soundtrack is beautiful. Nick Drake was the best decision they could have made. Both for Northern Sky, and how they adjusted Black Eyed Dog. And I’m glad Imagine Me & You was on here. For once they made it hard to dislike the male character in a lesbian movie. Hec was impossible to hate, and the movie was well done and heartbreaking but hopeful.

The holiday movie and it's complicated movie is the best romantic and love movies ever!!!!
Totally missing out on my favourite 2000s romcom: Return to Me directed by Bonnie Hunt. It's a beautiful love story between Minnie Driver and David Duchovny where Driver receives a heart transplant from Duchovny's wife who dies in an accident, then they meet and fall in love. The supporting characters REALLY add a lot to the movie and make it equal parts hilarious and heart warming. HIGHLY recommend this movie!
Music And Lyrics, Imagine Me And You and Serendipity are my favourites. I've watch those movies a thousand times and I will do it a thousand more for sure
Music and lyrics is one of the funniest romcoms ever made! The chemistry between Alex and Sophie is perfect!
This list is pretty good, a lot of good movies in there, even the honorable mentions. Definitely underrated and deserve more love.
I actually own 5 of these on DVD 😮 (including one of the honorable mentions, and 4 out of your picks 5-10). Your Top 5 were just okay for me (even though I had seen most of them). I would also add Something New to this list! Totally underrated, and one of my faves!

Please, please, do yourself a favor and watch Lars and the Real Girl. It’s a romantic comedy, yes, but it really focused on the love of a community.
You’d think it would be weird or creepy, the blow-up doll aspect, but it’s not at all.

Just Like Heaven is one of my favs. But, I love It’s Complicated!
A Little Bit of Heaven is also a wonderful rom com. A really lighthearted/fun story to watch despite the devastating situation they’re in. Makes me happy but also makes me bawl every time. Kate Hudson totally kills it as the character she plays and the male lead is absolutely precious
Its Complicated definitely a good one. Still crack up at the Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin Steve Martin computer scene and John Krasinski steals the scenes he's in.

So many great choices! Although I would have put Just Like Heaven and Kate & Leopold on the actual list as opposed to the honourable mentions. The side characters and Mark Ruffalo's physical comedy in Just Like Heaven are hilarious, and that dance scene on the roof in Kate & Leopold, dancing to Until.. by Sting is so romantic 😍💜😍
Kate and Leopold my faavvveee ❤❤❤❤!!! It's Complicated shows that aging can be really good fun. I think if we all had prospects like that, we'd look forward to it.

I do think you missed "some things got to give" its a beautiful movie.
Anything with an amazing score like it's complicated and the holiday are ones that just lift you away from reality and into beautiful stories.

I really don't know how the hell you didn'tr include 'Failure to Launch'! I don't like rom-coms T ALL but I have watched this one literally over 100 times. Perfect in every way! And my first time seeing the beautiful Bradley Cooper! 🥰🥰
What about The Wedding Date. I thought The Wedding Date was highly underrated. The chemistry between Debra Messing and Dermot Mulroney is insane🔥🔥🔥. I also think Knocked Up is underrated. Ppl hardly talk about that movie. It had a great plot of two ppl dealing with the consequences of a one-night stand and also their conflicting personalities. What Happens In Vegas should be here too. Another slept on Cameron Diaz film. I am glad The Holiday made the list. It is such an underrated Christmas and romantic comedy film. It deserves more recognition. Why is John Tucker Must Die on this list. I didn't think the movie was all that great.

Agreed about John Tucker…that was such a weird choice. It was never really that big of a deal, kind of a B-lister as far as Rom Coms go. So many better ones out there!

Overall, a good list. It's great to see not just one, but two, Nancy Meyers movies on the list (It's Complicated & The Holiday.) I'd probably have one more of hers on the list, or at least an HM: What Women Want (2000.) My favorite that's missing from your list is Return to Me (2000.) It's such a good movie and it never shows up on lists like this one.

Some of my favs on here. The Holiday is probably my fav movie. I watched Serendipity not too long ago and really enjoyed it too. WAY more than You've Got Mail or When Harry Met Sally. I honestly don't understand why people like those two because the guys were pricks.
I just heard a list from these guys that said Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore were part of worst chemistry couples lol. I actually liked Music And Lyrics though tbh

Bride and Prejudice is one of my all time favourite. I've watched it way too many times
My baby was small when that came out. I could take him to see it in the theatres. He would sleep through most of it and I could get out of the house. Of course that baby is now over six feet tall and is in college.

Strongly disagree about Just Friends being underrated....... In fact, I think it is overrated.... I watched it yesterday and almost didn't make it to the end...... Btw - earlier yesterday I watched "Leap Year" which I enjoyed and found interesting.....so it was a striking difference to me..... (btw - I LOVE Ryan.....but in this role I didn't)
I hated The Holiday… Kate & Leopold should’ve taken its place!
