caballero No worries for hanging your queen. This position can never be reach if you don’t drop your queen at some occation as there are no queens on the board. Just sac all you pieces except for one rook and a bisshop and then cross your fingers that your opponent has only one rook left. Best of tactics 👍

All of your videos are instructional, this one was just more direct. I look forward to more like this - mate with knight and bishop,, basic pawn endings, storming the king, openings, etc. Keep up the great work!
Hi Antonio! Please, do more videos like this! I believe that one of the greatest additions your channel brings to the community is the ability to explain why some player resign a game and there is nothing more to be done. Videos like this can raise the chances to win a game at the bar or at the library, where players don't resign after a worse endgame position.

Actually I had this situation in play Magnus app,I was playing at age 8 and I didn't able to win in 50 moves being up a bishop,and got a draw for 50 moves rule
Age 8 (play Magnus) doesn't have any endgame knowledge. Because so many times he didn't checkmate me in King Rook vs King situation. Besides, Rook Bishop vs Rook endgame is more complex because most of the time low rated players ( elo 1000 -1500 ) will blunder the position.

I wonder if you might consider doing a series on historically important endgames, using, perhaps, Steve Giddins, The Greatest Ever Chess Endgames (Everyman:2012) or some such other guide. That would be great to follow along with and hear your commentary, since you make things so wonderfully clear.
agadmator...i really like the idea of you putting out educational videos because you explain things thoroughly. i think some good topics would be something we as players would see more of like pawn structure, how to mate with x-piece and y-piece, how to properly defend, how to attack. thanks!!
At position 4:07, I may be wrong but isn’t the suggestive moves of when black does Kc3, then white does Ra7 into Ra8 because of Rb2. Shouldn’t white respond with Rh8 for a two turn checkmate. Thanks.
Ended up in a draw playing the computer 2 days ago with this exact scenario. Was quite agitated not to come away with the win. Thanks for showing this:)

Explaining a complicated concept is one thing, but I quite often find him too fast. Logically, the average viewer must be easily sub-1400, but the comments never reflect that. I guess that's politeness of wanting to agree with the presenter, shyness about admitting weakness, and confidence of strong players to speak up.
I've been a bit aimless whenever this puzzle showed up in ChessTempo Endgame Benchmark so the extra concepts of getting the rook to the third rank should help me a lot now, thanks! Please also do a video on rook vs rook and knight defense, even though I imagine it's supposed to be fairly straightforward.
There are lots of videos about openings, but not so many about endgames (and the few, usually don't have a good quality). I mean, there are a lot about basic checkmates (like 2 bishops and king against king), but no so many about this kind of endgames. So, yeah, it's cool to see a nice, well explained video about this stuff.
#suggestion Drawing with bishops of opposite colors, even with 2 or 3 pawns down, as I've seen in a lot of your videos that you say that those endgames usually are draws.
