You portray Jesus so well in the Chosen that I have to watch you as Jonathan just to be sure I don't always see you as Jesus. I can't begin to tell you how much it meant to hear you read 1 Peter 4:12. It was so encouraging to me. It seems that every time I share the gospel message with anyone, or encourage anyone in the faith, the enemy comes against me with trials. Most of the time it's physical trials with my health, but other times it's other types of trials. I'm hits so hard ever time that I'm tempted to never share again. But then I tell myself (and the enemy) that I HAVE to, and I do it again. I haven't thought of the verse you read for some time now (I've been studying other parts of the Word lately), so this was very refreshing, and a great reminder. Thank you!

What Jonathan said about forgiveness reminds me of Psalm 103:12, “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” And the “blessing” he described reminds me of Psalm 32:1, “Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.” Praise God for laying all of our sins on Christ. May we always remember to forgive as we have been forgiven. This is, as Jonathan said, what we are “called to do.” Grace (unmerited favor) and peace (cessation of against-ness) from God our father, and from our Lord, Jesus Christ. 🙏🏻✌🏻🙏🏻

I know that our Savior did that for us, and it makes me cry every Good Friday that I can remember from childhood. I can't say the words "crucify him" at Mass to this day!!. I don't know how I can watch this because I feel we know you. I know it's acting, I know you will do a blessed, inspired portrayal with the mindset to be doing it for the will of God. I know that, but I don't know if I can watch it.. I don't know how anybody could have watched it when it happened back then??? God be with you, Jonathan, as you go down this road to portray Jesus.
