TLDR; Seems to skip that major part of Ukraine's unfavorable predicament is directly due to West's failure to provide appropriate and adequate weapons/munitions in a timely manner. Also, being forbidden to strikes many key russian targets. Only recently USA allowed strike in limited range to defend Kharkiv, but STILL forbids Ukraine to strike russian airfields with US weapons, which is where most of the devastating glide-bomb attacks on Ukraine originate. West needs to stop dicking around and provide Ukraine with all it needs, when it needs it and allow it to strike as it needs. If so, most of this interview would likely be moot.

🔴THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the Salvation of the last day that Christ brought in the second and last incarnation of His new and holy name"
(How many religious practices do you follow? How many bases have you rebelled against God's word and chosen your own path? Understand God's word and live it. Be principled in your actions and deeds; it's not following the rules or doing it against the will for pretense. Rather, it is the practice of truth and living the word of God. Only a practice like this will please God. Any practice that pleases God is not a policy but a practice of truth. A person who truly loves God and is in the truth is a person who is honest with God, but he does not reveal it to the outside. He is ready to practice the truth when tested and does not speak or act in a way that goes against his conscience. He shows wisdom when faced with trials and is principled in his actions, regardless of the situation. A person like this is the one who truly serves. There are some who are often only verbal when it comes to their debt to God. And if you ask him, "In what ways are you indebted to God?!" He couldn't answer. All those who only use words to deal with God are hypocrites! Religious rituals and beliefs prevail among people like this; they live in such rituals and beliefs, always believing that such acts are pleasing to God, and that superficial piety or sad tears are pleasing to God. What good will these strange things do? Is this kind of people in the kingdom? The person in the kingdom must be lively and free, innocent and open-minded, honest and pleasant; one who lives in a state of freedom. He has character and dignity, and can be a witness wherever he goes; he is pleasing to both God and man. Those who have faith in God in their hearts are not strange in the outward sight of others, but their actions and deeds are commendable to others. Only these people can be considered living the word of God. What do external good works represent? The outward actions of man cannot fulfill the will of God. You believe that what is pleasing to you and what you desire is pleasing to God. What pleases you is what God surely hates, and your behavior is what God hates and hates. Such people are hypocritical Pharisees and religious people! The greater the elements of hypocrisy, the greater the opposition to God, and in the end, such people are sure to be rejected.)
      Almighty God said
How many RELIGIOUS PRACTICES do you FOLLOW? How many bases have you REBELLED against GOD'S WORD and CHOOSE your OWN path? How many times have you put God's word into practice because you truly consider His burdens and seek to fulfill His will? UNDERSTAND GOD'S WORD and LIVE it. Be PRINCIPLED in your ACTIONS and WORKS; it's not following the rules or doing it against the will for pretense. Rather, it is the PRACTICE of the TRUTH and LIVING the WORD of GOD. Only PERFORMANCE like this will PLEASE GOD. 🙏
Any practice that pleases God is not a policy but a practice of truth. Some people have a penchant for attracting attention for themselves. 🛑
In front of His brothers, he will say that he is indebted to God, but behind their backs, he does not practice the truth and does the opposite. Isn't this like the religious Pharisees? A PERSON WHO REALLY LOVES GOD and is in the TRUTH is a PERSON who is HONEST to GOD, but he doesn't REVEAL it OUTSIDE. 🙏
He is READY to do the TRUTH when there is a TEST and DOESN'T SPEAK or ACT in a way that goes against His CONSCIENCE. He SHOWS WISDOM when there is a TEST and there is a PRINCIPLE in His WORKS, regardless of the situation. A person like this is the TRUE SERVANT. 🛑
There are some who are often only verbal when it comes to their debt to God. They spend their days with furrowed brows, showing off, and pretending to be pitiful. Absolutely disgusting! And if you ask him, "In what ways are you indebted to God? Please tell me!" He couldn't answer.
IF you are FAITHFUL to GOD, do not mention it in public, but use your actual practice to show your love to God, and pray to Him with an honest heart. All those who only use words to deal with God are hypocrites! Some speak of indebtedness to God in every prayer, and begin to cry when they pray, even without the touch of the Holy Spirit. ☀️
Religious rituals and beliefs prevail among people like this; they live in such rites and beliefs, always believing that such acts are pleasing to God, and that superficial piety or sad tears are pleasing to God. What good will these strange things do? To show their humility, pretend to show courtesy when speaking in the presence of others. Some deliberately make themselves slaves in the presence of others, like a sheep without any strength. Is this kind of people in the kingdom? 🛑
The PERSON in the KINGDOM must be ALIVE and FREE, INNOCENT and OPEN WILLED, FAITHFUL and agreeable; one LIVING in a STATE of FREEDOM. He has CHARACTER and DIGNITY, and he can be a WITNESS wherever he GOES; he is PLEASED by both GOD and MAN. 🙏💐
Novices in the faith have many outward practices; they must first undergo a period of dealing and destruction. The beliefs of God in their hearts are not strange to the outward sight of others, but their actions and deeds are commendable to others. ONLY these PEOPLE can be CONSIDERED LIVED in the WORD of GOD. 🛑
If you PREACH the GOSPEL daily this YEAR and the next, ENCOURAGE them to SALVATION, but in the END, you STILL LIVE in POLICIES and DOCTRINE, you CANNOT give GOD the GLORY then. Such TYPES of PEOPLE are RELIGIOUS, and also HYPOCRITES. ☀️
What do external good works represent? They represent the flesh, and even the best outward behavior does not represent life, only your own individual behavior. The outward actions of man cannot fulfill the will of God. You always talk about how much you owe God, but you cannot provide for the lives of others or inspire others to love God. You believe that what is pleasing to you and what you desire is pleasing to God. Can your happiness represent God's? Can human character represent God? What pleases you is what God definitely hates, and your habits are what God hates and hates. 😪
If you feel indebted, then pray to God. No need to mention it to others. If you do not pray to God and instead always draw attention to yourself in the presence of others, can it fulfill the will of God? If your actions are always outward, it means that you are the most arrogant of people. What kind of person is he to be seen--he is only a person who does good but is blind to the truth. Such people are hypocritical Pharisees and religious people! If you do not abandon your outward habits and are unable to make changes, then the elements of hypocrisy will dominate you even more. The greater the elements of hypocrisy, the greater the opposition to God, and in the end, such people will surely be rejected! 🙏

His Coming is the fulfillment of all that was prophesied in the great book of Revelation, so the last "Salvation" He brought the whole truth, the way for eternal life. So the "victorious" ones who will receive them are the wise "virgins" because as recorded in the prophecy of His return no one knows it except the one who will receive it! And tank attacks have a nearly 100% loss rate: they go out but almost none come back. I hope historians can shed some light on this madness in the future. As for now, we can only speculate on why they keep throwing their army away:
It might be for political reasons, keep gaining territory to feed the narrative of Russia being unstoppable.
It probably has something to do with the way successes and losses are being communicated up the chain of command, aka blatant lies to please your superiors. It's absolutely endemic in Russian culture and inevitably leads to stupid decisions.
And finally, lives aren't worth much in Russia. Especially when it's the lives of some poor colonized blokes...
In the end, Russia won't run out of men to sacrifice, but meat waves won't win the war against Ukraine armed with plenty of artillery and drones. Not only is it not a winning strategy, it's a losing strategy. I don't think Putin is going to relent, though. He is committed and this will end in catastrophe for Russia.

@@rogerc6533 Peace on Putin's terms now would be a deadly trap. Russia is now in a war economy mode, has effectively destroyed its civilian sector, and it is committed to weapons production. While Ukraine is willing and able to fight it should be supported in destroying those weapons. I live in Poland, and we know our Russian neighbors well. Any solemn undertakings made will be worthless, any guarantees given will be broken, and any "permanent peace" proposals will be the prelude to a new war, when their army has had the chance to re-group and re-arm. Logistics in European Russia are similar throughout the region, with not much difference between the approaches to Ukraine, Belarus or the Baltic area, so I'm not sure how Russia would be impeded here.

Whilst Jack Watling’s expertise is overwhelming and undisputed, I wonder if his analysis also includes the state of Russian finances? It appears that they are in a serious state as reported by Joe Bloggs “Russia Running Out of Reserves…”, whose source was Vladimir Milov “The Russian Economy: still standing, but Stuck”. The liquidity portion of the National Wealth Fund is starting to run out and is currently looking to run out in 6 months. The planned budget deficit for 2024 has been set at 10.7 trillion roubles and includes an expected federal budget deficit of RUR 1.6 trillion or 33% of the remaining NWF liquidity, but 40% of that was spent in the first 3 months. “This poses a serious threat to Putin’s ability to continue funding the war”.
Please note this was a serious info dump, so I may not have got all the details absolutely correct, but you have the sources above.

This is a very interesting interview but from it to me appears that there is no realistic way for Ukrainians to win this war and that perhaps for Ukrainians the war has been already lost. There are several reasons for such conclusion which I will briefly outline. The first one is Russo -Ukrainian expectations in terms of defining win in this war. While Russian objectives are more limited and realistic the Ukrainians set for themselves unachievable objectives. While Russians are proposing a model for a neutral Ukraine with loss of some territory for Ukraine, Ukrainians establishment talks of a full liberation of currently occupied territories. It doesn’t matter what is considered fair or ethical here but rather what is realistically achievable and at what cost. The second one is Dr Watling statement that Ukraine could win war if it was given “needed” resources it needs to win the war. However, those “needed” resources are very much a hypothetical concept which implies close to infinite resources given to Ukrainian disposal which Ukraine will not have even with a full and much bigger than up to date support by the West. Ukraine is running out of people willing to fight and the authorities resorted to literally hunting people on streets and sending them to the front. On the other hand, Russia is pretty much a canonical example of a state with limitless resources. The third point is complicated, but I will anyhow somehow try to elaborate it. Ukraine is as well a victim of Western and NATO ambition to be construct a European security framework without a significant participation of Russia. History however suggest that this is impossible to achieve without a strategic defeat of Rusia and its relegation from the status of great powers. While this is unlikely to happen, Russia identified Ukraine as an instrumental clog towards this Western strategy which looks as if will not end well for Ukraine. This component also means that most of us observing this war struggle to understand what Russians are doing as we are focused on the tactical aspect of the war. Therefore, we are obsessed who is winning/losing battles, who gains or loses certain territories, why the Russians do not launch a massive offensive etc. On the other hand, it increasingly appears that the Russians care about the tactical aspect and are strictly guided by their strategic objectives. We are observing the war from distance is often confused by Russian action in the war. We are preoccupied with the tactical component of the war -we observe various battles, question why Russian do not engage in a massive offensive. On the other hand, it looks as if Russians do not care about tactical aspect of the war, i think they observe it strictly through their strategic objectives. This probably means that they will not care about individual battles, temporary gains or losses of territories or the time frame of how long it takes them to achieve objectives. Longer it lasts it gets harder for Ukrainians and Ukraine gets closer to implosion. Unfortunately, this will not end well for Ukraine. At the end USA, Russia and China will find a new model and establish a new world order. Ukraine will pay a high price but the end game doesn’t look well for Europe too.

Exactly. A serious conversation would involve evaluating how many tanks Russia loses each average day, let's say 10, and how many new tanks they can produce now, let's say 1,3, and how many they can refurbish per day, let's say 8, and when they will end the stocks, let's say in 18 months, and then how many new tanks will be produced once all the productive resources go toward new tanks, let's say 3. By the same token, one should see how many tanks and howitzers is Ukraine producing, etc. If one says that Russia produces many times more tanks than the UK, this is a totally irrelevant information, as the UK is not losing 10 tanks per day, and is not involved in this war. It really is a very stupid comparison, which gives no information whatsoever. Thumbs down to this video for the very poor quality of discussion.

      @uffa00001 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

@@_Unlukey The intent was certainly not to say anything meaningful. Russia loses around 10 tanks per day. If they only produce 2 tanks per day, when they exhaust the old stocks they will be fighting with a huge lack of tanks. The fact that the UK produces 0,001 or 0,1 tanks per day is totally irrelevant to the situation in this war. Russian production can seem huge if compared with UK production, and can still be minuscule if compared with Russian loss rate in tanks. If anything, Russian production should be compared to Ukrainian production, which is also much superior to UK's production.

At 20:00 he says "Russia is producing more tanks per year, than the British army is purchasing over the next decade." That comparison doesn't make any sense. First the British army is primarily naval and air rather than land-based. As a proportion of the budget, of course Russians are going to have more invested in tanks. Next, Russia is in a war, and has already militarized their country. The British army is not fighting. So the British are only replacing tanks based on modernization, and maintaining a base level of forces. Russia is replacing losses. So, of course, Russia is building a lot more. Russia is building 10 times the number of tanks as Britain next year. But the implication is that Russia is generating 10 British militaries worth of force. That's probably not what he meant, but that's the comparison that he made. That's comparing apples to aircraft carriers.

  • @clutteredchicagogarage2720

This assessment seems realistic to me.
I don't envision any NATO countries giving Ukraine security guarantees in the next 18 months that would have a material impact on Russia's calculus for continuing the war.
I don't envision Ukraine's economy suddenly growing on a double-digit percentage basis for the next couple years relative to prewar levels, and this means that Ukraine will be pressed to rebuild damaged infrastructure or massively scale up military equipment.
I don't envision the current Ukrainian army having a significant strategic breakthrough on any front lines that they could exploit to recapture any significant bits of territory in 2024-2025.
I don't envision the Russian military running into equipment shortages that would cause their military to suddenly collapse before 2026.
And therefore, I believe that to win this war, Ukraine needs to not only continue holding lines and inflicting asymmetric attrition, they need to double-down on deep strikes into Russia that could potentially change the game.
Ukraine needs to develop new AI drone capabilities in order to gain an advantage. Maybe develop drones that can follow Russian rail lines autonomously and target+destroy Russian fuel trains. Continue to launch deep strikes on Russian airfields and oil refining. Ideally, develop domestic cruise missiles that can destroy Russia's military industrial capacity...
Ukraine needs to launch strikes inside Russia that are deeply painful to Russia's military industry and economy in general. Russian oligarchs need to believe that continuing the war is so damaging to their businesses that the war needs to end. People in Russia need to become so frustrated with the economic pain caused by the war that they start to revolt.
If Poland and the Baltic countries want to see the war end then they should give Ukraine financial and industrial assistance to inflict crippling strikes on key Russian industries and infrastructure. Maybe the nordic countries would help with this too. I don't think the USA, Germany, France or the UK are serious about taking steps to ensure that Ukraine defeats Russia's military. They will help Ukraine hold the lines, but that's all. Therefore, for Ukraine to truly defeat Russia, central and northern European countries will have to step up. Develop truly autonomous strike drones with capabilities to autonomously target Russia's most critical, expensive and irreplaceable military and industrial assets.

So we have F-16's and, probably more importantly, SAAB 340 preparing to deploy in Ukraine by the end of the year. As Dr Watling alluded, that's taken longer than it should have, and we risk making the same mistakes again with rationalisation of weapon and ammunition supply. My big concern for the medium-term is what AFV's we can supply to Ukraine, European NATO has given almost all it's spare stockpiles and now for Ukraine to get a decent flow of vehicles it will essentially need new ones (unless the US decides to send a lot more which currently seems unlikely), who is going to supply those vehicles and who will pay for them? NATO armoured vehicle production is pretty much a trickle of several expensive types with little commonality. A relatively simple, more mass produced range of vehicles will soon need to be produced and supplied to replace Ukrainian losses if they are going to reconstitute their armoured forces and train units to fight at higher than company/battalion level.

On top of this of course are materials and parts etc so behind the scenes things are not to good. I highly recommend you visit the channel Inside Russia to get good inside information on many aspects of the Russian society etc.

With all due respect to Dr Watling, his analysis does seem overly pessimistic. The RuAF’s level of mechanised support has clearly been severely degraded. Despite their ability to refurbish decades old equipment stock, Russian military/industrial production cannot hope to keep up with frontline losses, and stock levels are now severely depleted. Russian missile accuracy may have improved but missile stocks are low and with increasing numbers of state of the art missile defence systems in Ukraine’s arsenal, the Ukrainian interception rate of those Russian missiles is likely to increase rapidly. Ukraine’s new air defence systems, along with a strengthen Ukrainian Air Force, will likely reduce the number of glide bombs that Russia is able to use, bombs that have caused the AFU such problems. The qualitative disparity between Ukrainian and Russian equipment is likely to grow. Russia is clearly desperate to avoid recruiting too many personnel from Moscow and St Petersburg, hence the generous financial inducements to the rural poor and overseas personnel. This approach has its limits. It is also questionable how long the political and economic climate in Russia will allow the war to continue.

@@EvoraGT430I think his assessment is correct as it is based on continual reporting and open source intelligence, pretty much available to anybody ready to collate it thoroughly and view it objectively. The evidence of putler avoiding mobilising the middle class ethnic russians is hardly controversial, which is why so many minority groups have been drafted and now even reports of North Korean subjects are fair game. Watling has minimal access to the inner workings of either the kremlin or russian ministry of defence, production output or poohtie's mobilisation strategies going forward so he's hardly better placed to comment accurately than anybody else willing to do their own due diligence and research. The fact that putler still hasn't even achieved his own admitted minimalist goals in Ukraine ( capturing the entirely of Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya oblasts to their legitimate administrative borders ) let alone any of his overbloated MAXIMALIST objectives ( removing the Zelensky government with a puppet version, capturing Kyiv and cutting Ukraine off from the Black Sea, avoiding Ukraine entry into NATO/EU ) tells us clearly that the dictator is now in an ever faster race against time before it all implodes in his face.
