- One of the World's most beautiful approaches and #5 in my list of most scenic landings. Landing of TAP Portugal Airbus A320-200 in Lisbon airport (LIS). Flight TP1315 from Budapest (BUD). Plane registration CS-TNT (hm, seem like abbreviation for Counter-Strike Dynamite ;))
A little bit shaky due to some turbulence on approach and sorry for a child scream. But is it possible to find a landing video without child screaming anyway?

Hahaha, you're absolutely right, Ed!! I was sorry not to take earplugs with me... imagine 3,5 hours flight like that ;) This baby has some strong lungs ))

Landing is Lisbon is quite spectacular, those beaches at 0:24 are Costa da Caparica, a 20km long continuous beach
...and the statue of Christ and the 25 April bridge at 3:23, also the bid estuary of Tagus river
... the Star Basilica at 4:11 and Marques de Pombal roundabout at 4:37
Thank you so much, Luis! I'll try to put this information into subtitles! It's a pity, that this video is a little bit shaky due to turbulence, otherwise it is definitely one of the most beautiful approaches I have ever seen. And Lisbon is a spectacular city as well!

ha-ha-ha :) No, George, fortunately not. But these last 10-15 min of the flight was quite enough to drive half of the plane crazy ;)) Just to give an idea - that baby wasn't even close to my seat :D On the other hand, the landing was quite turbulent, so I felt like some adults were about to join that baby ;)

@@TheDonQuim Hi Zack, just noticed your comment now. Actually, when I was a baby (around 6 months old) I was flying with my parents and vomited on a neighbour passenger. So comparing with me, that baby did nothing wrong ;))) Thanks for your comment and come along to my channel sometimes :)
It can be an amazing approach. I've come into Lisbon much lower. It feels like u are going BETWEEN the towers of the red bridge. Great video btw. THanks.

@@Starlines I remember flying in thinking "why isn't this approach more famous" (it was early internet era). Lisbon is a beautiful, underrated city. I suppose sometimes its a similar approach to the old Kai Tak approach in Hong Kong. Thanks for your vids!
Those of you asking if the baby cried the whole way - YES. If you fly during the day, kids scream and run between the aisles. I flew twice from EU to Miami via TAP and kids screamed the whole way (10.5 hours) from Lisbon to Miami. Rather unforgettable.
Thank you for your comment, Jane! I bet your flight to Miami was even more unforgettable than mine ;) I stepped out in Lisbon, so just 3 hours of screaming in my case. Even with some pauses ;) Anyway, I would agree to fly with dozens of shouting children on a plane, just to get back to travel :)
People who fly with small children are getting their travel subsidized by fellow passenger who tolerate the extreme annoyance and discomfort (involuntarily and out of embarrassment). It is nothing short of extortion. People travelling with small children should hire a private jet. That reflects the true cost of travel. They are merely extorting tens of (or even hundreds of) other people to subsidize their costs by letting them fly commercial. Hire a private jet. If you can't afford it, don't extort others. If it is an extreme emergency, get a sedative prescribed by a doctor.
Beautiful landing but I saw one video a while ago that was better, with NO CRYING BABIES!! I swear these parents need to control their brats better. OMG!! I love the bridge there in Lisbon. Looks almost like our Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Same designer I believe.
Great vid thanks. Played it to remind me of when we went, snag for us was the ice crystals on the window... loved seeing the shadow of the aircraft accompanying your finals... I enjoyed it more on mute.... babies and sneezing pax the bane of flying!

I have places I will go in my lifetime. Madeira island and Lisbon Portugal is a must. I MUST SEE THESE PLACES WITH MY OWN EYES. With that bridge it looks a lot like where I live. San Francisco, CA. And yes, I LOOOVE hydrangea flowers of Portugal. We have them here also. Strange how our local looks like it's replicating the splendor that is Lisbon.

Crying baby on a plane, a traveller's worst nightmare.
Thanks for your comment, Quigley! You are right, this is a nightmare, but some can be worse ;) I had at least few moments like this. For example raining through plane windows in An-24 during thunderstorm landing or returning to original destination due to injuries of stewards during extreme clear sky turbulence on A380 (they hit ceiling). In both situation most passengers where shouting and crying, so one baby is still ok ;))

Thank you for your comment, Onival! Impressive that you had used so many languages ;) Do you speak them all or it's a friendly help from Google? Considering your question - honestly, this child made some pauses in crying during the flight, but still it seemed quite long time to me, when this child was crying. I don't know if it was a boy or a girl as their seats where quite far from mine, but this child can definitely become an opera singer or choose some sports where you need strong lungs. For example, if it was Italian boy - he can be a football player ;)

It actually took me a while to understand what are you talking about, as it clearly written on video description that this was A320, as well as video name is "... TAP Portugal A320 Landing in Lisbon". But later I understood that you probably commented on inlay within a video, that during video production was copied from another one I did before and I change only a part of it by not paying enough attention. Unfortunately, it is impossible to change it within video, but all details in description and video name are correct. Thank you for noticing this detail, I already forgot about it as video as quite old. Anyway, it's a pleasure for me that someone is looking on this video attentively and comment about something other than annoying child ;)
