- We had some hog panels left over from the fence so we decided to build our Hens a hoop coop! We decided to add a few new additions to our little homestead also!

In the early mornin' light, the rooster starts to crow,
Got my boots on, ready to go,
Out to the yard, where the chickens roam free,
But they need a coop, that's the key.
Building up a chicken hoop coop,
Where the hens can lay and the chicks can snooze,
Underneath the open sky,
They'll scratch and peck, oh me, oh my!
Got the frame all set, sturdy and strong,
Cover it up, won't take long,
With wire mesh to keep predators away,
Our feathered friends will have a safe place to stay.
In the afternoon sun, they'll bask and preen,
Living the good life, like a queen,
Eggs in the nest, fresh and warm,
This chicken hoop coop is our farm's charm.
So here's to the coop, our pride and joy,
Where our chickens roam, without a ploy,
In the chicken hoop coop, they'll happily dwell,
In our backyard, where life is swell.
