What are your dimensions, on width and height? I need to build a few structures out of these, and I'm wondering if I can make them tall enough. Good job, btw.
The base was 7’ wide x 16’ long. Height ended up around 6’ 1” to 6’ 2” or so. I had just enough room to walk inside. Thank you for the support!

What kind of rubber bands

Doing something like that for our birds.
They will love it! Our birds are happier now. We let them free range and they go back in around dusk. No predator issues so far. Knock on wood
It looks great! The only suggestion I have is you may want to put their food container under the tarp in case it rains their food won’t get wet.
@cindysowell412 we have learned that! Food stays under the tarps!
I have been studying these hammer vids 6 ways from sunday for months.. and the more i think about it, seems a beaded D loop would be better than the bow releases that a lot of cats are using. Anyone with experience care to chimein? Im just getting started.

This particular frame does not have sights. You use the middle of the fork when shooting as your reference point or “sight” so to speak. Then you make sure your bands are in line and pointed toward the reference point and let it fly.

How do you aim the slingshot? Is there a trick to it?
I make sure I have the bands lined up directly with my dominate eye and the top and bottom bands are in line. Then I use the top corner of the upper fork tip as my sight.
I should also mention you shoot with the forks turned 90 degrees, so not pointed straight up but 90 degrees turned parallel to the ground.

You’re probably right 😅 I’m sure it can be shot hard enough to break glass, but I took a chance and trusted my aim! Luckily I was on target for the most part.

Yea the Pro is nice with it being heavier, I like a little more weight on my frames. And my Bulldog Tank is scared when I'm shooting anything. If I shoot slingshots or airguns he goes in the house.
I bet the added weight adds significant stability. Might be next on my list.
Love your Bulldog I also own a OLD ENGLISH BULLDOG there great dogs and so are the SCOUT X I have the SCOUT X PRO.
She’s a good dog, she doesn’t like it if you have anything in your hands or if I wear camo she barks at me. I have several slingshots and so far the scout x is my go to. I may have to pull the trigger on the pro soon. I bet it’s real nice!
If you heat the back end of the dart up with a lighter before inserting it into the back of the Plastic. They won't separate on impact

This was the first slingshot that I bought last year after I dugout some old wrist-rocket with tubular bands that I bought years ago when ai was a kid... My home is on a wooded a big wooded lot, so I get a lot of squirrels and I have been feeding them shelled peanuts for several years now... some of them will come up to me and take the peanut right out of my hand... then I got the idea of shooting peanuts out at them.... they don't care if I hit them or not... doesn't hurt them. Then I wondered about what the modern slingshots were like... man I really fell down that rabbit hole !!! I have not tried shooting arrows with the Hammer XT yet... I bought a separate head from Simple Shot so I can change it out easily. But I want to try it... I grew up doing archery with my Dad... way before the compound bows. I've been doing airguns since the late 1980s, so I have an indoor basement range... I added a nice slingshot range to it, and enjoying the heck out of it ! Enjoyed your video !
That’s awesome! Yeah the modern slingshots are superior compared to the old wrist rockets we had as kids! It can easily become an addiction. Especially if you get into cutting and tying your own bands and trying different setups for different ammo…hope you get to try the sling bow out and have some fun! Thanks for the view and comments!
