It looks absolutely amazing and I think we will start to see a lot more products like this. Really, RC cars have been around a good 40+ years now and it has taken a while to go full circle back to the "scale model kit" on a RC chassis (like the original Tamiya RC cars). It is funny that some manufacturers talk about scale realism, yet still give us protruding body posts, visible body clips and stickers for headlights/tail-lights. This Jimny does it properly and I look forward to seeing what body styles they bring out next.

Just bought mine's yesterday. I do believe that the steering wheel turns as you maneuver it from left to right.
Now, if only Suzuki trucks would return to the USA Market with this model, they'd make a killing! The real ones are on back order in most countries.
A couple of years late here, but just recently discovered this rig and immediately ordered it. 35 days later, it arrived and not only can I NOT stop looking at it….and checking out all the cool features and details, I also couldn’t wait to run it! Had to raid a couple of remotes for the AAA batteries, but ordered rechargeable ones because I plan on having lots of fun with this Jimny. Been enjoying the Xiaomi 16 scale Jimny since late 2020 with good chassis mods, better tire/wheel combo,and a lift to make it a capable little crawler, but this thing makes that seems like a kids toy in comparison! Your review shows off all the key features and elements that makes this awesome in every way and the capabilities outweigh the limitations big time. It’s definitely more trail rig than crawler, but it will be fun putting it through the paces. It’s so perfect and shiny and I want to just run it indoors for fear of scuffing and scratching it all up, but luckily FMS literally has every spare/replacement part needed to keep this thing going and looking great for years to come! Thanks again for a great review on this Jimny!

Thanks! Yea, lack of oil shocks is the only downside to these FMS RC’s. But worth looking into making something fit.

I should imagine there will be other colour choices in the future (as they have done with the Katana).
I driven of of these, but the real Suzuki Jimny, the vehicle was created for people whom love off roading with a comfortability of a Sedan, but if you are a 6+ in height, you have to adjust the seat,☺️ here in the Philippines, it was a popular vehicle, it even had a Jimny Club, they gonna love this RC version

I just got the FMS 1/6 1970 Suzuki Jimny, its a beautiful light Jeep, period correct metal leaf spring suspension, rubber seats, and so on, and at 310.00 for a 1/6 its a deal.
RC manufacturers out there, this manufacturer has raiised the bar, the future of RC now.

So what does that mean ? Can I take the body off and switch it out with a different one? Does it require custom parts ? Are any of the parts interchangeable like the tires on this Rock Crawler?
I almost bought one, The color is killing me. I hope they make it available in a second color. We will see. Aside from that it looks great and performs as expected.

Excellent video on an excellent RC vehicle! Thank you for reviewing that one! I bought a Traxxas C8 Corvette at one hobby shop and then I went and visited another hobby shop to see about getting the battery and charger. The guy there did not ask me if I was a beginner or advanced and he wanted to sell me a Lipo battery and charger unit combo at full retail price. I was like okay, this does not sound right at all. I'm Not ready for a Lipo battery yet and I'm not wanting to pay full price. So I said no and I did the longer (and more scenic) drive up to my original hobby shop and they set me up with a Traxxas NiMH battery and ID charger unit and they had saved me $45 dollars too as well. With this challenging and fun hobby of RC vehicles, you got to do your research and go visit various hobby shops and compare prices.

I was playing with this little. Thing at the beach this past Saturday and it looks so realistic how it goes. On the sand a thing of beauty. I want fms to do a 1/12 gladiator with 35s that is as realistic as this one.

I think something happened to my unit too. It seems like the battery is dead or the On/Off switch is not working anymore... after 2 times I used it (No water, no dust). Did they solve your problem? Who you contacted?
