I finally pulled the trigger on a crawler, decided on a trx4 2021 Bronce. I have taken it to my local quarry a few times now and I'm pretty impressed. I'd say all your crawler videos recently helped my decision
Great video! If you really think about it, a lot of the places we as enthusiasts run our Rc’s are not really very scale in actuality. The size of the rocks, ruts, pot holes, brush…etc would totally destroy a life size vehicle if we drove through these obstacles for real. So I would say this is really, probably better than scale of the real thing.🤪😀🤩❤️👍🏻👊🏼🍻. Love your outro!🤣
Yeah, I prefer to see them driven slow and actually tackle obstacles, they’re scale after all. Could you imagine a 1:1 stock Jimmy barreling down a rock crawling trail at 30mph!? 😂
Hello ! This Suzuki Jimny is really nice ! He is not very tall but he managed to roll over the stones 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻! The color is coooool ! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The end is awesome 👌🏼👍🏻
Awesome video as always, loved the relaxing music too👍 Such a cool trail crawler isn’t it mate, and definitely not too scale to crawl, lol I must admit I’m scared to get mine scratched though 😂😂 Have you got a link to wear you got that man from mate, I need one for my Jimny..
These a pretty capable for the size and stance of the rig. I really like mine. I think better wheels and tires will make this even better. While I don't have any wheels laying around,I did have a spare set of brass hex hubs from my old scx24 that I sold and they were a direct fit, lol. Might have to pick up a cheap set of scx24 wheels to see if they would look rite, lol
Cool little RC and appreciate the thoughts buddy, I'm sure there are some that would have struggled with the lights flickering! Pretty capable given its diminutive size! Any vids planned with that big orange Land Rover matey? 😁👍
Definitely low gear for the crawling climb! The slower speed takes the boune out of the friction shocks and looks really scale IMHO. What a nice little scaler!
I been waiting for you to do the running video of the lil Jimmy looks awesome 👌 time for me to pull my finger out and finish off my scx10.3 today ive only built the axles so far but seeing this makes me want to go out on a trail, so probably going to take the wpl c24 out come home and do some more building
@@TomleyRC yeah I cant wait till its finished so can take it out but the quality of the parts they've used are second to none im trying to spread it out through the month as I need to wait till next payday till I can get the motor and esc 🤣 think im going to go with the hobbywing axe r2 combo 2800kv 540 can I also had to get the optional parts tree for the servo saver as I didn't want to get the spektrum micro servos as there the ones that come with the servo saver required for the dig and 2 speed unless you get the optional parts tree but if you ask me it should of come with it. But obviously as spektrum are now apart of horizon hobby there trying to force people down the spektrum route, which they are OK but there are better brands out there for less. I went with the power HD tr4's that they have in the trx4 there much better than the spektrum ones
Your driver should be fine, back in 1999-2000 I worked for Henleys of Hitchin selling the original Jimny, which was available through the Motability programme with modified controls!
I think some oil dampened shocks would make it better.....the bounce looks epic in slow mo but ehh.....it looks way too toy like bouncing around normally. Hmm....I'm TOTALLY new to smaller scale....do they even make oil shocks that small? Is something that small even beneficial with oil? Questions questions
Bit too expensive for my taste but very cool. Just a shame that oil shocks seem to be one of the most common corners to cut for all of these kinds of manufacturers!
@ Tomley RC I watched one of your videos 2 weeks ago about the maverick phantom xt and went ahead and bought it but the other day it just randomly stopped working I was only able to steer but not drive do you know the problem and how to fix it Pls let me know
Hey, like your video's: especially the buggy stuff but the music in the last half of the video is just too mellow. It was a bit of an ordeal to watch. Still like your video's. All the best...
What sweet terrain for that rig!
The hill and the scrub brush were visually “scale”! Great video, thank you.
It’s a nice place to run, especially in the summer

Good choice!
I am waiting for my car to arrive. Great looking car. Thank you for the video.
Thanks mate
Lovely! The ending was good fun, too.
Hahahahahaha that hill climb was perfect!!!! That was the condition of most mountain roads less traveled. 🤘🤘🤘
It’s a nice place to run 😎

I also agree with you on this one!😎👍
Respect on ditching your footage for the sake of epileptic people.
Nice little truck
Loved the video also your description on the dislikes is very very funny 🤣🤣🤣
Love the ending 😃
Back again. Picked one of these up for $99 USD. Decent buy at this price.
Wow the seat even slides forward and back holy cow that is awesome.
Nice video Tomley!! Keep it up!
But Lieutenant Dan, you ain't got no legs!

Wonderfully shot video, it was so good! Nice job!👍😊
Good little Jimny there sir, all it needs now is a scale decal, “yup been there”. Thanks for sharing.👍
Pretty sweet little truck, Tomley! 😃
Great ride there!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Details in that jimny is awesome.
Awesome video as always, loved the relaxing music too👍

Thats a really nice and detailed body, looks pretty decent 👍🏼 Nice vid as always!
Just looks so good. Wow 👌. Love the color to so that helps
Hey i just got one of these is there a battery upgrade? Id love longer run times
Awesome video as always but what was the song you used? I need that on my Spotify
"Happy kick", good stuff man.

Go with rc4wd scrambler tires for the scx24. They’re very oversized so it should look decent on this
@@rcloner1895 ok cool thanx for the info 😎👍
Love the jimny, also thank you for introducing me to hobby comp ive just won a tamiya subaru monty carlo, cheers mate.😃😃👌👍👍👍👍

Absolutely awesome!👌🥰👍How’s still holding up after two years? I want to get one!
Nice little scale truck. Love the interior details and that low speed crawler gear is superb. It would really suit a micro sound setup.
I didn't expected the outro 🤨 😅 👍🏻

I would put the WPL to gear system in it n wheel n tires

Really nice funny end of vídeo. 💪👊 all the cars must have a case like That. Like the music track it's a Zen relaxing video
Cheers dude. The quarry in the summer is a nice place for recording
when u ganna upgrade the suspension or the wheels
That seems to cope a lot better than I was expecting it to Phil.
Change FPS in camera against flickering.
Love mine. Love FMS!

Such a pretty rig, does well, is it worth sticking a 250 can motor in it ??
Its a really nice rig
Seems bouncy at first but play that at 0.25 speed and the body motions look correct then.
Hey bro , please help us find a better motor for this truck, this stock motor is way too weak. Thank you
You should try to fit some atlas 6x6 tires and wheels to this
Pretty sweet for the money !!!
Bit too expensive for my taste but very cool. Just a shame that oil shocks seem to be one of the most common corners to cut for all of these kinds of manufacturers!
Too expensive? You must get your RCs strictly from Walmart..
Too expensive? You don't own any hobby grade rc vehicles do you?
So scale. Just love it
This is the future when the earth takes it land back and the last man converted a Jimmy to electric
I challenge you to make it go the same speed as full-size???
This seems to be very scale accurate for where I take my Chevy Tracker (Suzuki) in the Rocky Mountains. Slow but goes all the way.
Such a joker mon brave
Oui oui
@ Tomley RC I watched one of your videos 2 weeks ago about the maverick phantom xt and went ahead and bought it but the other day it just randomly stopped working I was only able to steer but not drive do you know the problem and how to fix it
Pls let me know
The driver is "scale" if it was me driving 😅
Haha
Nice place for that cool cool cool 💯
I`m early. Almost bought one of these but uh d12 trail truck build.
Thats gonna be sick with a 38,000rpm @6v 180 😁
Naw it just needs a little lift, wheelbase stretch, more aggressive tires, wider wheels, more power…OK yeah I see your point..😂
What scale is this?
Just needs oil shocks an it'd be perfect. When it starts skipping all 4 wheels end up doing it an that's lost traction. Still does well though.
Love it, want it and the real car too😀🇳🇴
looks cool but the price is nuts! I could get a redcat gen 8 for that much and have a capable 1/10 scale trail truck.
Some like small detail's, Different strokes, ya know? I felt the same as you at one point.
@@bendover3820 yeah I get it just not into it as much as others I guess, I would rather put money toward performance and still be decent looking.
@@SteadfastRC So many Options. Not enough money haha, Right on!
Good vid btw
Cheers dude
My head is still bouncing from this Jiminy's suspension. Otherwise it's a winner.
Haha
How to make older
$300! for 1/12 scale, it’s like I’m racing again😜🤪
Got it for $240 on amazon
Who kept you in the house? Your mum?? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Law 😅

Very good scale but the price, make it cheaper and more people will buy it,👊🏻👍🏻
Yeah... but if it was cheaper would it be as good? It’s cheap compared to some of the crazy scale kits you can buy!
hi from Arizona, usa. 2nd
