    As always an excellent, easy to understand, fully explained video. I bought the programme immediately after this video. You are a brilliant tutor sir. Thank you on behalf of all us hungry for update simmers

    Just got this and installed. Using with MSFS2020. Love it. Is there a way for the chatter to change to use the Europe chatter when flying there? How can I separate the files, and have the program select what to use when?

      Travis, I think P2ATC now has some level of region support but I'm not 100% sure how it works. Check the P2ATC user guide or visit the P2ATC forum:

    Great job with the video I actually just picked up this pilot to ATC and I plan on buying the chatter files, I have one question at 12 minutes and 45 seconds in you showed the altimeter on the left hand side of the screen? what is the name of that plugin that allows you to adjust your altimeter? Like that it seems like it's so much easier to read. Thank you in advance.

      That is a FlyWithLua plugin that shows your altimeter as you adjust it in both HPA and Inches of Mercury. I was adjusting it with a rotary encoder panel I got from Propwash Simulation.

    Helpful video. Is there a way to have atc chatter suspended briefly when I press PTT The chatter often interrupts my P2ATC comms.

      Have you installed the clips into the Pilot2ATC chatter folders or are you trying to use the X-ATC-Chatter stand-alone player in X-Plane to play the clips? If you have Pilot2ATC you should allow it to play the clips and not install the X-Plane stand-alone player. If you have done this and you are still having issues than this could be a bug in Pilot2ATC. It is my understanding that it should stop playing chatter when you push the PTT switch.

    I know this is old but how would it work if I wanted to go from region to region? Departed US Landing Europe or vice versa. Thank you.

      You would need to use the control panel to manually deselect the U.S. and select Europe when you thought the time was right.

    If I use P2A, the X-Chatter Volume is extremely silent. How can I turn them up, I cant find anything in the p2A config!

    • @markellis789
      @markellis789 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can do that on the radio control panels in Pilot2ATC but I can't remember off the top of my head how you open them up. Might I suggest you ask the question in the P2ATC forum, they will be able to tell you quickly: www.avsim.com/forums/forum/713-pilot2atc-users-forum/

    When you say turn your radios up are you referring to the radios in the cockpit of the airplane? Or is there a setting in the program pilot 2 ATC? Because I am not hearing any chatter whatsoever?

    • @stickandrudderstudios3217
      @stickandrudderstudios3217  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is setting for the radio volume in Pilot2ATC. If it is not playing the chatter you can get support for Pilot2ATC here:

    Okay, so I am having an issue. I am not getting any chatter at all, I have put the CA/USA files (merged them) into the correct directory (pilot2atc), the radio is turned up, and I am getting no chatter from ANY stations I select? Any ideas?

    • @markellis789
      @markellis789 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Something is either not installed correctly or the chatter settings / radio settings are incorrect. The developer of Pilot2ATC is very active on the following forum. I suggest you post a question there and he will help you quickly.

    I don't understand you don't have to link any root folder or location of sound files? You left everything empty. How does it pick up the sounds ?

    • @markellis789
      @markellis789 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pilot2ATC has a standard location for clips. I also think that the most recent versions of Pilot2ATC support the Regions folder structure so you can install multiple regions now and select them with in the Pilot2ATC UI. I suggest you refer to the latest Pilot2ATC User Guide. I will likely make a new version of this video as part of the release of X-ATC-Chatter 1.7 so it better matches the new capabilities of Pilot2ATC.

    Hi - Can I install different regions on Pilot2Atc ? If yes - how would I do that please - thanks

    • @markellis789
      @markellis789 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm pretty sure that Pillot2ATC now supports Regions. Please take a look at the Pilot2ATC User Guide to see how to do that as I don't recall the exact process. If you have difficulties you can get help here:

      @@markellis789 Hi Mark - Yes I read the whole section on their document, and after few trials I finally managed to do this. I fly more then one region so this was important. Many thanks for your kind support.

      Pilot2ATC is a windows only application. However, X-ATC-Chatter comes with a stand-alone chatter player for X-Plane 10 and 11 that works on all three operating systems

      I purchased the Atc Chatter last night. It work good on my macbook pro. One question though, how can I get it to change Airports? I'm 20mins away from Dulles & 40 mins away from Ronald Reagan Airport. But I'm getting KSEA towers.

    • @Mixxwizard
      @Mixxwizard 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Disregard my 6:24am comment. I was able to solve it. Great add-on, keep them coming.

    • @stickandrudderstudios3217
      @stickandrudderstudios3217  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Mixxwizard Is the clip making a reference to KSEA? If it is it is a flaw in the clip as any direct reference to an airport should have been removed. Please let me know why you thought it was KSEA.That said, X-ATC-Chatter does not auto tune your radios. If you have automatic controllers on you must tune your radio to the ATC facility you want. X-ATC-Chatter knows where they are so it will choose the right controller chatter for the ATC facility nearest your aircraft that is on the tuned frequency.
