Returning to the traveller site, where are the dogs?

- On this ride I cycle to the beautiful sea side towns of Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth. I returned to the Traveller site hoping to meet that gorgeous black lab I fell in love with.
My observations are the subject of this ride. So come along and enjoy another great cycling adventure.

Another great ride there. Did Lympstone a few weeks back and glad to see they removed 1 of the double barriers on the ascent/descent next the station. I find 'zigzagging' thru them awkward. You slalom thru no problem! I'm gonna research an upgrade to my current bike as I'm finding it too cumbersome size and weight wise. Need to get the enjoyment factor back in my cycling as it's fallen off somewhat ..
@@nafs53 Hey Nick, I totally agree with you, I was also very happy to see that the slalom barrier had been removed. I personally have witnessed cyclists falling off their bikes there and last year I helped an elderly gentleman who had lost his balance and got himself tangled up with his bike and properly stuck at that barrier. Another great ride. Curious to know where your remotes are located on handlebar. Revisited your first video on Creo and maybe back from hood rubber near the bar bend? Specialized shop installed my remotes at the end of bar tape on top bar angled downwards. OK when riding tops but both remotes partially covered by straps of my bar bag. Will be asking shop to move them so I would welcome any thoughts on best position.
@@steveradford5460 Hey Steve, my remote buttons are placed right on the bend where the lever Hood Covers start, and that works for me. I do occasionally switch the motor off accidentally but it’s not a problem. You definitely need to have them placed in a position that works for you, and in a place where you can effortlessly change mode, like in the same position as mine. @@electricbikerider Thanks for confirming location of your remotes. I have Creo 2 with dropper seat, lever for dropper is located in your left remote position. I'll probably get the shop to move them outwards 15mm each side from current position to align with thumbs when riding with hands on tops. Enjoying the Creo 2, just installed the Zefal mudguards after watching your video.

Hey Sarah, I was very sad not to see that black lab on my return trip back to the traveller site. I only wanted to give her treats and show her some love. I can only guess the owner got suspicious of me I moved them somewhere else. My two cats, Daisy and Lily wouldn’t have missed out on those treats, because I always spoil my girls anyway. @@rivergladesgardenrailroad8834 Hi Andrew, I was deeply sad not to see the dogs on my return visit. I feared the owner might do that, as I probably raised suspicion. They knew in their hearts that those poor dogs were not being properly loved and cared for, but they live a different lifestyle than me. I really wasn’t there to judge or report anyone, I just wanted to treat those dogs. Thanks for watching ⚡️🚴🏻👍🏻

@@electricbikerider Most likely stolen and had been sold on. If they owned those dogs there would be no need to have then tied up like that. I dont like to judge but we know it happens 😞
