I want to know because I have a confusion to choose from Hyundai Palisade V6, Volkswagen Atlas sel V6, and Honda Pilot Elite V6, please give me the right information because I want to choose a V6 car which will run perfectly 500k to 600k km without any big issues..
Very informative review. I was waiting for your take on the car and finally it is here. I feel the Palisade has a lot going for it. The features like those cameras in the instrument cluster that guides one to change lanes and directions, the device that let's one talk with the rear passengers and the one which reminds the person if he is forgetting something at the rear are all very nifty and major USPs of this car. Taking into account, the engine specifications, it is adequately powered and on par with its rivals. Where it would obliterate its competition I believe is in the built quality materials and the leather paddings on the dashboard that really up the ante. At the price it is coming, it is expensive, there's no two ways about it but I think Hyundai has deliberately done this to position the car as a premium alternative to its SantaFe. It also has the novelty factor besides its segment first features and robust build. Think of it as an affordable package to the BMW X7, Audi Q7 and the Mercedes-Benz GLS, all of which are identically sized to the Palisade and the price tag might feel justified. However, I don't think most people would go by that ideology at least at present when Hyundai still doesn't have the reputation to command a premium from its customers. When they couldn't lure the customers enough to buy their Genesis cars, what good will happen to a luxury car bearing a mass-market automaker's badge. Great car but launched too early is what I reckon.
You’re getting more car for your money. Hyundai has come along way since 20 years ago. I am ending my lease on my honda pilot 2016 and highly considering this to be my next car. Why you pay an extra 10-20k for features you see on luxury cars when you can have it at a more affordable price like the palisade. My pilot looks ancient when I compared the interior of the palisade. As for the exterior it always comes down to your own personal taste and perspectives. The looks of the palisade is growing on me. It’s way better in person than on videos.

Even though highest trims price on both of them ( which is Limited with Napa leather and options with Captains chairs ) is pretty much the same I would go with Palasade since is giving a bit extra on interior side but I do prefer Talurade exterior as I think it would age better The only thing is they dont have Calligraphy trim in UAE as its only for USA market. As for a price, I dont think people realize that this two vehicles especially Palasade packs more than a lot of 300k flagships of more "established" brands. 190k is a lot but it's cheaper than most of the competition like Ford Explorer, Mazda CX9, Toyota Patfinder ect. The only thing for me is noise while driving on higher speeds and resale value later on.

I drive one in canada. With little bit relaxed traffic situation these days due to covid, I get 11 + kms per litre driving mostly on a highway. City-highway combined mileage is around 9 to 10 kms per litre. So little less than 9 litres/100 kms on highways and little less than 10 litres/ 100 kms on city-highway combined.
