- OK, so recent weeks digging around in my DV box paid off again with rediscovery of this reel I shot at The London Astoria during Cardiacs show there in 2001. Lots of views of the pond from on stage as well as a bunch of close up portraits of those lovely lads and lasses doing their respective stuff. Some great moments in here along with the slack armed camera rolling about as I walk around. Also here a glimpse of Tim Quy, Dominic Luckman and is that Bic as well..? Later that evening Miss Swift and The Consultant take to the stage but that's not on here sadly. perhaps one of you has that sequence to share. Sound quality patchy to say the least but hey, your loyalty demands !

I was there! Right at the front! Last song was the whole world window with Bob singing & Jon & Tim on keyboards. Bless em all
Top end footage! In colour and night-vision, off stage, on stage. Find out what the drummer sees. Guest appearances from Luckman and Quy, play spot the Cardiac: the back of Torabi's head, Bic in the dressing room. Jo Spratley, Miss Swift, Mr Steven's filming his own shoes. This film has something for everyone, and if you dont like the music, half of it is missing as The Consultant hares around the venue to set up the next piece of camera verite.
I miss this band *so* much. This vid just reminded me how much.
Didn't miss this gig, though - remember it well. And look - that's me in the front row!!! Shaking my head as if I had long hair to mosh with... which I didn't back then!

The first time I saw The cardiacs in 1992 made me weep. A band that changed my perception of musice FOREVER!!! Tim Smith, a poet! My Bloody Valentine 2008 Roundhouse, not a good night.
