I have major nostalgia for all of this stuff but don't have a huge interest in collecting toys anymore. I also live in a small rural area where you never see this stuff out in the wild. So THANK YOU for letting me watch these videos and get my fix. I find it very relaxing to just sit back with a cup of coffee and watch these toy hunting videos. Please keep them coming.
It is one of my goals to - one day - travel to the US with an absurd amount of money and dump it on a store like that. This assortment of Batman & Robin figures alone just sent me on a trip down memory lane. This was my childhood. ToyBiz Marvel Legends and MotU 200x figures were my teenage years. So many fond memories not necessarily attached to those figures but somehow evoked by them.
Hey Pixel Dan! Thank you for another great toy video. It's always a joy to see you & Mrs. Pixel Dan toy hunting. I was laughing when you approached the pile of boxed MASK toys and got more excited to see an almost unflocked (& green underneath rare to see) Motu Panthor. Lol. I understand you completely. We are MOTU children forever. It was sweet to see Mrs. Toy Polloi collecting the Disney little action figures. I myself loved Disney's Gummi Bears & Chip n Dale "Rescue Rangers". Ahh, the joy of toy collecting! Happy Toy hunting, my friend. 👍
I know this is from 5 mouths ago but just wanted to thank you Pixal Dan you made my childhood come to life I love watching your videos been watching sense 2012
I was in here over Thanksgiving and picked up a Classics Beastman, Man E Faces and Tri-Klops. Travis was great! Store is nicely laid out for browsing and the people who work there didn't bird dog me. When I had questions, they were knowledgeable and ready to help.
Going through old photos today and found my 8th birthday in 1984 where I got Snake Mountain. My box said "spirit", so it was before people got up in arms. Don't think I ever knew that bit of trivia.
You are lucky to have this kind of store ! It's so cool ! It"s a war to find what I want in France ! The brands distribution is not the same in Europe, hard ton find lot of Super7 and other amazing brands toy. Happy New Year Dan !
Weirdly, a comic shop (that is mostly collectables, really) near me (in Oceanside CA) had a fair selection of those Tomy Disney figures last time I was there. I paused on them when passing thinking how neat they really were.
I actually brought that MOTU lunchbox in there that Tuesday! They told me you was coming in I think Thursday. Great guys that work there!! Good video Dan! I hate I missed this year con.
It makes me happy to see so much of this stuff at least get organized and put together to eventually end up in someone's collection. I always just think a lot of stuff like that would end up in the trash, and it's such a shame.
4:25 “HEY FREAKSHOW! You’re goin nowherrrrre! I got you for three minutes! 3 minutes of PLAYTIIIIIME! Sorry had to make the joke even if it’s unrelated lol. Also I appreciate you showing the Transformer stuff. A lot of toy stores don’t get many toy tours so thank you! Might check this out if I’m ever around South Carolina.
The Bone Dinosaur Egg seems to be from the Jurassic Era Dinosaur Egg toy line because that bone dinosaur egg is on the back of the cardback of the figure you got from Retropalooza
I still have one of those Soma Monster Man figures ! The one in the middle on the bottom ( bird man ). 99% sure we got that in Woolworths when I was little kid !!
The action figure collectors case shown at 14:06 is especially interesting to me. Of course, it's the third cover released for X-Men #1 ("Rubicon") pencilled by Jim Lee and inked by Scott Williams but check out Cyclops' costume. Technically, it's not the new design with yellow straps over his chest introduced in 1991 or the 1990 white X-Factor outfit from X-Tinction Agenda. The art incorporates a little bit of both for some reason.
The only Cyclops figure available at the time was the blue and white X-Factor version. The Jim Lee era Cyclops with the yellow straps wasn't released until a later assortment. I'd guess the company altered the art so that the carrying case better matched the figure.
I loved that Arnold impression lol but who would pay 30 bucks for that figure Arnold Mr. Freeze lol. And I loved that Ralph ninja power you held I used to have it omg!
I wish toy hunting videos would share more than just MOTU, ARAH, Turtles, and wrestling figures. I know you provide content for the masses, but a five minute scan of the lesser-loved figures would be very much appreciated. And I don't mean, Silverhawks, Bravestar, Crystarr, Sectaurs, etc.. we need more, Tomy, Takara, vintage Mattel; Voltron, Battle of the planets, G1TF, Shogun Warriors etc. There's still a huge following for those toys.
Awesome stuff .great video i will be going soon not to far away for me .my dream job to have a store like that I wish them much success in what I know they enjoy
Same. I saw a set at one of my local retro toy shops a few years ago and skipped on them. I didn’t know what they were (never saw or heard of them as a kid) so I did some research and went back to take a closer look and they were gone.
Going to have to check out this store next time I am in or near Greenville. Looks like a lot of TLC goes into the process. Had plans to go to Retro Toy Con but stuff happens. Hopefully, next year.
I need to tell my family that we need to move to Greedville, SC. This store is fantastic. The only problem with going here is that I would be broke after the first visit. (and possibly divorced :) )
Pixel Dan, I’ll do the hunting for you on the accessories along with what you need to finish off a number of figures. Ok, so update on Hardcourt accessories they aren't cheap, your looking at spending under $200 US for the accessories and that is to buy them as a whole lot separately they are $35-70 US each I'll link you via email or message over on Facebook

Thanks for coming to town again Dan, it was really nice getting to see you again and finally pick up your book at retro!
Thanks for giving some love to my FLTS! Also, it was awesome getting to meet you at Retro Toy Con!
OHHHH MY GAWD ... The store that just keeps giving and giving ...nothing like this AWESOME place here in DEADMONTON ..
41:30 That Cloud Car in the back, I say...! Also, Christina is real a team player! Everyone had so much fun!

Yes! Same childhood era here, and I relate! Those figures are a truly "preserved reminder" of how innocent we saw the world back then !

Your knowledge in MOTU is immense.
I love your videos and especially your reviews of figures, always look for your reviews of certain figures before I buy. Thank you.
3:31 That’s Orion from the Defenders of the Planets. I think that is the one figure from that line that you are currently missing.
there was so much good stuff to see in this video.
I love when you are looking at the 80's stuff Dan. Keep collecting for those of us that can't!!!
Wow! What a store!
Excellent video . My favourite so far on your travels.
16:07 funny thing is I don't see a damaged figure I see a peace of history and a good way to show it
30:38 that's strongarm from defenders of the planets.

We love you Pixel Dan!
Great store and awesome video. Thanks Dan 👍
That MOTU lunchbox was so rad! I love that Ram Man was just as monopose in the art as he was as a toy, haha!
Wow 😮 all those boxes of M.A.S.K ! Amazing to see.
great video! I love Toy Store tours
this store is heaven! that “rare” box of MOTU accessories has one that i need to complete my Snake Face, the shield! amazing video!

Enjoyed your video as always Dan👍 Happy Thanksgiving 😉
Can't wait to go check this place out soon.
I'm here for the MOTU & TMNT, but YES...show the Transformer's...my 1st toy love! Great video!

What an amazing store. 👏
ANOTHER AWEOME TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE! THANK YOU!

Man, this video is packed full of quality. Well....Except for the Pogs. lol 😆

Great Video. Also great meeting you in person at the show.
Great to finally meet you as well!!!
First few seconds I thought I was at Shartimus's channel....cool vid.

Dude, this store is incredible! So many amazing toys. I felt my soul leave my body for a moment when I saw that mountain of M.A.S.K. vehicles.
I still have one of those Soma Monster Man figures ! The one in the middle on the bottom ( bird man ). 99% sure we got that in Woolworths when I was little kid !!
Man that store is awesome 👍👍👍👍

Oh man! I used to have that Remco AWA ring! Not the cage sadly lol. The wrestler is Greg Gagne. Love your channel
Epic Pixel Dan video
Great video thanks for the entertainment.
This place legitimately looks like a toy store that's been preserved in time a few decades.
I need to check this place out!
This place looks nuts! So much good stuff, even that newspaper has some value to it now… 😂
So glad you like our store!
When were you back there?!?!? That’s my home town!!!
I loved that Arnold impression lol but who would pay 30 bucks for that figure Arnold Mr. Freeze lol. And I loved that Ralph ninja power you held I used to have it omg!
I’ve passed on that Real Ghostbusters carrying case multiple times at one of my local retro toy stores and always kinda regret it.
Going to enjoy the whole video, but that "cold" open with the Arnie impersonation immediately won the Thumbs Up from me.
Never change pixel dan
weird i bought the whole set of ronin warriors at big lots too. they were 2 bucks a piece around christmas if i remember right.
Man!!! Wish I knew you were there. Would have loved to meet the Great Pixel Dan
I really want to see a Robocop toy hunt
I remember those Batman & Robin figures being on discount at K.B. when the movie was still new lol
This is my local toy store. I always love going in there.
You’re lucky it’s so close to you. Wish I had something like this nearby.
"Stina's stack of good excuse for buying more stuff for me figures" xD
Nice !happy Thanksgiving see ya soon hopefully
Have you seen the new Goo Jit Zu series 6, they look so cool

My fright zone puppet doesnt have the same paint job, are there variants of it!?
Just WOW! Sadly nothing comparable in France
The Playmates Trek line is a great line...and it's so worthless, it's easy to collect.
How much did you spend on the alternate gun? You said you were going to say prices?
Those Ecto Glow deserve more screen time! What was the price? I only dream about having those!
Same. I saw a set at one of my local retro toy shops a few years ago and skipped on them. I didn’t know what they were (never saw or heard of them as a kid) so I did some research and went back to take a closer look and they were gone.
LJN’s Sgt. Slaughter is rare because he was the mail-away.
Going to have to check out this store next time I am in or near Greenville. Looks like a lot of TLC goes into the process.
Had plans to go to Retro Toy Con but stuff happens. Hopefully, next year.
i managed to snag a haslab sentinel and its definitely a badass giant figure
Epic PD video
Long time no news bro i miss your videos here in TH-cam in toys such neca predator and alien
Anyone ever tell you, you look like Zangief from Street Fighter?
Only I was in that part of the world right now. I saw that they have X-30's !!!!
after 60 years Pixel dan will introduce himself to mezco and sh figuarts
Man that HasLab Sentinel, so hope it will see a re-issue at some point....also missed out on it, gutted.
I need to tell my family that we need to move to Greedville, SC. This store is fantastic. The only problem with going here is that I would be broke after the first visit. (and possibly divorced :) )
I want to know how much that green Panthor was worth. Such a cool piece
I am the Mandalorian so follow the Mandalorian!
How do these stores find all these rare carded figures?
I'm a novice so genuinely interested.
Dang I wish Ryan had his channel when that trailer came in. Would have made for amazing video(s).
So TMNT book when? :)
Wau very good
I could legitimately spend money in there till the day I die.
You have forgotten to show the ThunderCats again that's okay I see how you are LOL
Ahh they had Wave 10 of the Power Rangers Lightning Collection especially Dino Charge Green Ranger. I need him lol
I rewatched dune. I liked the big bluto guy ripped the cow eye out and ate it raw
Your Mohawk has slid across to one side.
I would sleep in that store, because there is too much to look at XD whahaha ;p
I would destroy Dan in a prize fight for figures!
At 22:53 Dan got kind of depressing.
wow thunder cats
You probably get this question all the time, if so, I apologize, but have you ever considered opening a toy store of your own?
Pixel Dan, I’ll do the hunting for you on the accessories along with what you need to finish off a number of figures. Ok, so update on Hardcourt accessories they aren't cheap, your looking at spending under $200 US for the accessories and that is to buy them as a whole lot separately they are $35-70 US each I'll link you via email or message over on Facebook
Of course you gave your future wife a Disney action figure on your first date🤣🤣🤣💘
I always like looking at Transformers toys because they are cool but for some reason I never wanted to buy one.
