Guys, everyone saying they want the older songs on the upcoming album- I do too- but do we realise what that would mean for Tyler? He only puts out songs that mean something to him. Him putting this or anything else from RAB, NPI would mean he feels that way again. I've known about Tyler and Josh for six months, but that thought hurts my heart.
It doesn't necessarily means he feels that way again, he could just love the song and the meaning to him. Remastering old songs that he wrote when he wasn't doing well, doesn't automatically mean he feels that way again, plus it could possibly be for the story line of the new album. But yea, no hate. :)
In this version you can hear CLEARLY Tyler's voice and he is still screaming with the same intensity like in the NPI version and there's JOSH with the drums on the background that makes this such a greater masterpiece.
This song gives me so many chills, it's so beautiful and you don't have to be a Christian or believe in God to feel that. Tyler is like an angel to me. I'm having a hard time in my life and everytime I feel desperate and I've no idea what to do, I listen to his songs. They help me a lot.

Even as an atheist, I can understand and appreciate this amazingness. One of the best songs Tyler has ever written and I just adore this entire song front to back
Yeah. I like to interpret the song differently which makes it relatable to me. I like the think of the “jesus” line as a metaphor rather than a literal prayer. Its written in a way that by thinking of the jesus line as a metaphor for someone in your life who helps through hard times, such as a friend or family member, it becomes open for those who aren’t religious to relate to
am I the only person that doesn't want this to be on the new album it just feels like is doesn't belong there with all of his albums has been his progression and this song was made in his darkest days
Don't- Don't ask for these old songs on new albums. They represent Tyler's darkest nights. When he was almost gone. Do you know how it would probably tear him apart to sing this? Every song he makes is for us to take his example and stay alive. He is already going back to the memories like every day.
i agree, i feel Tyler often avoids singing certain older songs due to the place it would bring him back to. when you write a piece the feelings stay intertwined with the lyrics forever, every time you sing it they all come back. when something was written during your darkest hour sometimes its meant to stay there
@@marshall8826 To a certain extent I agree with you, but in my experience (at least for me), the feeling is temporary and only serves as a reminder that I am better
I feel like it’s the same feeling genuine, but it feels different because he’s grown and it’s changed up a bit so you don’t expect it to happen. Like I know the words, the instrumental, and what comes next, but I still feel clueless about what he’ll say next in this because he still sounds like this. Like we think he’s better and it feels and sounds like he still is who he is now. For me, it’s like I still don’t expect it to happen. I don’t expect him to scream in pain for him to be saved.
I'm doing a marathon of No Phun Intended and I can't help but wonder how some "fans" can say that they want Tyler to fall back into this again. I love Scaled And Icy but a lot of persons don't and have been spreading hate everywhere, saying that if they had heard it back in 2015, they "would have ended their life" or that they "preferred when they were depressed" and they "should go back to being that". I wouldn't be so troubled if it was just one or two persons, no, but I went to search some fun edits or short theories on Tiktok and it was almost ONLY that. Just think about what Tyler and Josh must feel now with all these haters? You can not like a style but it doesn't mean you get to bully others! Because that's what they're doing, bullying! Yeah that scream hit me too. I have the utmost respect for this cat, I think he is one of the best modern and popular musical artists, and that's coming from a 52 year old metal head. And I think this song is a positive message, more people should turn to something larger than themselves, larger than anything so superficial and temporary as this physical existence, and what other than God, depending on your definition of God. But if it helps you in any way. It's a good thing. Let's not conflate God and religion. I haven't seen any evidence that indicates any particular religion has a monopoly, or a direct line to God. If religion brings you closer to God, great. If a personal approach works for you, great. But the infinite and all encompassing consciousness that pervades everything we perceive and all that we can't is definitely the source of reality, and to recognize that fact, and honor it by respecting all that is manifest through it's intelligence, including yourself, seems to be the only sensible way to proceed through life.
His ability to put that much emotion and power into one word is what makes me want to peruse music. the chills it sent down my spine is something I don’t think I’ll ever recreate tho

I disagree. This one is more emotional and his singing voice is more clear and the screams are more intenze. I think this version is definitely better.
It seems like most people prefer the original, so I'm scared to say that I actually prefer this one.😅 I love it when Tyler screams, and this one is clearer and stronger (imo) and he sounds like he knows what he's doing better. The whole song is just more... put together? There's more to it, I guess. I still love the original though. The meaning and cry is still the same, just more focused, I guess, in this version. Idk.
I have a feeling this was recorded in cooperation with New Albany music, since Tyler has also worked on Whitaker there. It has a certain quality that makes me think it was done there. Huh. Don’t quote me, but it’s possible.
Okay guys, I don't know if this is gonna be in the next album for many reasons. If Tyler remastered this song means that is important to him, and this is good. 'Casuse if it wasn't he won't remasetred it. But, if you pay atetntion to the drums' sound, it looks like the Regional at Best. So we can say that he remastered this song a while ago. And, if this is gonna be on the next album, he probaly remastered it again. You know. And yes, it would be awesome if he put this beautiful song on the ablum, but I think it wouldn't be. So, sorry for that :( .
he put trees on vessel and that was from no phun intended. goner even made it to blurryface, we *could* see it. but at the same time, maybe not. that being said id love to see a live version of this
For all of you You don't have to believe in god This song is a cry out for help He just wants something to 'save' him He's a Christian so he believes that god will save him You can believe anything you want to believe A friend could save you Some random happy event could save you Anything can save you
I think they rerecorded it in 2011. I know they put it on the band website to download at the time, and that's how people got access to it, but it never came out on an album.
Friends let me tell you something. This is the heart of the gospel right here. Jesus says blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of God. This song represents a man broken by his sin and all he can do is cry out to Jesus for salvation. It’s not about how good you are or how hard you try it’s about falling on your knees and crying out JESUS SAVE ME!!
You've lost A purpose to live but that doesn't mean you don't have other purpose. Don't take you precious life away from any of us. We all need you just as much as you need us so please stay alive. |-/
You don't have to believe in God to relate to this. I don't believe and I still can hear and feel his pain. He's helpless so he turns to God and asks him to save/cure him from his (emotional) pain.
you don't have to believe in God to relate to this song, I am depressed, I don't believe in God and I relate to his pain, he felt desperated and he wanted to be saved by something, he called it Jesus, because he is Christian.
I will always get chills down my spine every time he screams "save".

Lost Ones
(Parody of Heathens by Twenty- one Pilots)
[Chorus]
Are there any lost ones that you know?
Pray for God to move upon their souls
We’re called to reach out to the lost
Be faithful and ask for God’s desire
Are there any lost ones that you know?
Pray for God to move upon their souls
We’re called to reach out to the lost
Be faithful and ask for God’s desire
[Verse 1]
Welcome to the land of people
Even lands of people who are lost today
So betrayed
Even though they got a grin on their face
Doesn’t mean their lives are great, don’t hesitate
They’re living lives of sin sitting next to you
They’re looking for a comforter sitting next to you
You’ll think, “How’d I do this , I’m not equipped
It was all God’s plan, so don’t forget
[Chorus]
Are there any lost ones that you know?
Pray for God to move upon their souls
We’re called to reach out to the lost
Be faithful and ask for God’s desire
[Verse 2]
They may reject you many times, that’s fine
They’ll say the words you say to them seem unkind
They’ve got real issues they won’t mention
They’ll say they don’t like your intentions
God’s loving on the lost one sitting next to you
He’ll have some hurting people sitting next to you
You’ll think “How did I get here sitting next to them?”
It was all God’s plan, so don’t forget
(Reach out, reach out)
[Chorus]
Are there any lost ones that you know?
Pray for God to move upon their souls
We’re called to reach out to the lost
Be faithful and ask for God’s desire
[Bridge]
Are there any lost ones that you know?
(Reach out)
Pray for God to move upon their souls
(Reach out)
Think, are there any lost ones that you know?
(Reach out)
Be faithful and ask for God’s desire
[Outro]
Why witness? You know God loves them so
(It’s His nature)
Let God win them through your faithful witness
(Witness)
And now see them coming to the Lord
(Praise God)
It looks like they have been won like us

How badly I want this on Spotify
Я ўпершыню чую гэтую версыю,ды мяне ўсю прабірае.. Які ж цудоўны голас мае Тайлер.. Я закахана ў гэты трэк💔💔
This song hits close. I've always struggled with religion since I'm a christian and pansexual. I never felt accepted and all, and it still hurts
I'm not an expert but I don't think that Christianity is against that, a lot of the time people say stuff that isn't true for their personal gain
I'm a Christian too and I wanna make you feel accepted. Is there anything I could say or do?
@@mickmay630 it's okay :) thank you sm
Christianity accepts all peoples of any sexual orientation, no worries. Having a different sexuality isn’t sinful as some unlearned ones say
Every time I hear this song i cry.
I too wasn't believing in god and then i was crying to god like this to save me
Someone please get this on k-love.
EXACTLY
God this song hits so different now that he had his own little family 🥺❤️
Screaming save is the best part
I always liked this version more
I love guitar in twenty one pilots songs
This is probably one of my favourite songs by them ever
You all say I WANT THIS ON THE NEXT ALBUM! if it was on an album it would have been on vessel or blurryface because this remaster is old
I have a feeling this was recorded in cooperation with New Albany music, since Tyler has also worked on Whitaker there.
So, sorry for that :( .
i'm with u
he put trees on vessel and that was from no phun intended. goner even made it to blurryface, we *could* see it. but at the same time, maybe not. that being said id love to see a live version of this
trees isn't from npi.
i meant goner
both trees and goner were originally from No Phun Intended.
Just one of those depressing nights :)
For all of you
You don't have to believe in god
This song is a cry out for help
He just wants something to 'save' him
He's a Christian so he believes that god will save him
You can believe anything you want to believe
A friend could save you
Some random happy event could save you
Anything can save you
So gooooood....
I love this
What is the audio for his voice from? It sounds so clear and different from the original.
I've lost a purpose to live
friend. don't give up. stay alive it's worth it
Seyla Cliquebait what's worth of living ?
What's your purpose? What motivates you?
You've lost A purpose to live but that doesn't mean you don't have other purpose. Don't take you precious life away from any of us. We all need you just as much as you need us so please stay alive. |-/
Kirshmen Vladivski stay alive for me stay alive for Tyler and Josh stay alive for the people you love please just stay alive fren l-/
this is literally the first time i'm hearing this version and i am literally sitting here laughing and tearing up
Sigh, if only this were on Spotify.
tears
U look cute 🙃😊
DID HE REMASTER IT THIS YEAR OR AM I JUST TOO EXCITED
spøøky amara YOU'RE TOO EXCITED THIS IS FROM LIKE 2011
spøøky amara ya i think he remastered it in 2011 cause the original is from 2007
instant sobbing
Jesus, Please... save me
it should be illegal to have the option to push dislike
If you dislike you die
haha im really depressed and this song just sums up my mood rn (also how the heck did i not know Tyler remestered save???)
I love this song but it's just hard to relate to since I don't believe in God.
You don't have to believe in God to relate to this. I don't believe and I still can hear and feel his pain. He's helpless so he turns to God and asks him to save/cure him from his (emotional) pain.
Ry Emmert yeah I'm atheist but this doesn't really have to do with God as much as it has to do with Tyler
you don't have to believe in God to relate to this song, I am depressed, I don't believe in God and I relate to his pain, he felt desperated and he wanted to be saved by something, he called it Jesus, because he is Christian.
Ry Emmert team me too but Tyler has helped me through life so much that I don't care anymore I just love listening to them l-/
Same
npi songs hit harder after midnight
OMG!! I LOVE IT!!
i wish this would have been on Trench ;-;
***LOUD HIGH PITCHED SCREAMING***

It sounds like get lucky
Everyone saying this might be on the new album it won't this was on the TØP website in 2011, it's not super new
So is that Josh at the drums?
does anyone know when this version came out?
Hey it's got a guitar on it! It's prolly MIDI though!
