I love how this song talks about how Jesus has "covered me gracefully" while the animation shows the restored person with a YELLOW sash. Reminds me of a certain recent song that opens up a new era in Twenty One Pilots.
It's almost like Tyler is trying to tell a story of redemption from darkness and brokenness ... I wonder where he got that from? In all seriousness, I discovered Tøp (like most) during one of the darkest times in the battle for my life and soul - Tyler's words resonated so deeply with me because I had never heard someone make music to God that felt like how I felt inside. BLESS THIS MAN

I want to take time to say thank you for this type of animation. I am 61 and don't know much about animate but I had the pleasure of talking with a sweet teenager who loves Christ and animae. At the time I remember asking God to protect her from things not of God. I have not spoke to her in over a year but I have just started posting these videos and isn't our God grand! Me too, John - that’s how this animation was supposed to be viewed and the ‘Clear’ ending really hammers the message of the whole thing home....It is perhaps more than ironic that the very song in which Tyler is most explicit about his original purposes in songcraft is now the one that is censored almost everywhere it is posted...Ah well. I’m told that there are still a few versions of this animation in its original form scattered around YT, perhaps you can find them there.

You should make an animation of a Christian who keeps back sliding and just wants to stop giving in to sin but is held down by it and and he wants get away and run to Jesus so He can be healed and have life
i guess the song called "save" is a solo tyler song not affiliated with the fueled by raman record company so thats why that song is ok to be used but not clear?
This is from a version of Save that was released on the old TOP site before they were signed by Fueled by Ramen and after the No Phun Intended version. It was a free download on their site for a few months but after they were signed it went away and I haven’t seen it again. The screen in this version is from the original, everything else is from that limited release edition.

As far as learning to draw...well, if you watch this animation and then one of the newer ones, you’ll see that I’ve learned over the years and gotten a bit better with time.....the most important thing is not drawing well but communicating the beauty of Christ in whatever way you’re able... :)
Still a beautiful animation, thank you for sharing it again. However, this strike really disturbs me. As an artist, I really hate the way companies and the music industry in general tries to limit the use of their songs, even if the videos follow fair use, are covers of the song, or remix the song. This time, however, it wasn’t fair use that they ignored, but direct permission given from Tyler for you to use it, which I’m fairly sure is illegal and really seems unfair for small creators like yourself. Hey Patrick, if you watch my explanation at the beginning of the video, that should answer your question. Basically, Fueled by Ramen did not recognize the permission that Tyler gave me to use this song back in 2011. It's understandable, but inconvenient.
@@FullofEyes Yeah i was in a rush and didn't get a chance to actually watch it until now. I miss the "Clear" version because it seemed to reconcile the feelings built up by the rest of the song, and it fit so well with the scene from Ezekiel. Oh well.

As an artist, I really hate the way companies and the music industry in general tries to limit the use of their songs, even if the videos follow fair use, are covers of the song, or remix the song. This time, however, it wasn’t fair use that they ignored, but direct permission given from Tyler for you to use it, which I’m fairly sure is illegal and really seems unfair for small creators like yourself.

Hey Patrick, if you watch my explanation at the beginning of the video, that should answer your question. Basically, Fueled by Ramen did not recognize the permission that Tyler gave me to use this song back in 2011. It's understandable, but inconvenient.
@@FullofEyes Yeah i was in a rush and didn't get a chance to actually watch it until now. I miss the "Clear" version because it seemed to reconcile the feelings built up by the rest of the song, and it fit so well with the scene from Ezekiel. Oh well.
