Thank you Roos for showing us your Hoya. A few months ago I was one of those that said, no hiya not for me, don’t see what people see in them. Now I have 10 and looking for more 😮 I don’t even know what happened! 😂💚
haha that is so cool! i said 'i don't like hoya' as i walked into a greenhouse and came out with my first cutting, a few months later i had collected about 60 species 🤣
I was one of those ppl that did not like Hoya,as the only one I’d ever seen was the plain Carnosa, now I ❤ them! Your collection is beautiful, your Linearas is the best I’ve ever seen. ❤🍃🍃Natalie
Hi Roos, I am a Hoya Head, I love them and I love your choices!! I would like to add to that the Rigida & the Globulosa are beautiful and two of my faves!!
thank you very much! i used to grow globulosa but it never did well for me. iwant to try the cao dang version, apparently that's much easier than the one i had.
Some cool hoyas! And to think I also did not use to like hoyas 😄 but the collection is slowly growing! Would welcome wilbur graves, sarawak, sulawesi gps 8867 and obovata with open arms 🤩 And many more probably 🤭
I am not a hoya lover at all and while I won't say that you changed my mind; I was 'kinda' drawn to the Hoya heuschkeliana variegata. I would love to see a full pot of that one. Thanks for your effort and enthusiasm!
I love certain Hoyas. Just started my collection 18 months ago & now have 7 different varieties with several propagations doing great. Haven't killed any yet. Trying NOT to get ones that I can't tell apart from a distance. There are sooo many that resemble pubicalyx--which I love bit still.... Just put through a order for Retusa and next will be Sigillatus (I hope). My long-term goal is acquiring an excellent specimen of Hoya carnosa AH 074 (silver)! So far a great & soothing hobby. Love this video!!!
Great video. I'm also looking for uncommon Hoyas (leaves) ... but also for small ones or slow growers to keep space for the next ... Currently the H. microphylla is my favorite, which is flowering for the first time for me on 5 peduncles ... also the H. retusa ... Your H. gunung gading is magnificent ... Thanks for showing!
Loveeeed this video! I think you’d like Swiffer’s treat because it reminds me a bit of Clemensiorum. My favorites right now are Latifolia Queensy, Nyhuusiae, Narcissiflora, AH 049, Natta, & Patchawaralai 077. 🤩
what people need to understand is you need to see and touch a hoya in person to truly appreciate them. I just thought they were average trailing vines until I got the chance to see an established one.
Hi Roos have you ever had hoya with penduncles that did not bloom I’ve had 2 peduncles on my macro and they’ve been there for a couple months growing bigger but all the bits are just falling off thanks
actually yes - almost every one of my hoya has grown a peduncle and not done anything with it for months or ever. then they start growing buds and they fall off (it's called bud blast). i think it's either when they dry out too much (or pests, or too much water, or any other stress factor) that they drop them - and also when they're still too young to have the energy to sustain a flower. but that's just my theory. if they are budding up, try to keep the environment and everything as stable as possible, maybe don't let them dry out as much, but also know it's not you! it happens. a lot!
Thank you! I am a hoya head 😊and my bella has been blooming for almost a year.. now my spartiodis is another story... my dream is to find one with those big gnarly leaves..
Some nice ones there. I was a non hoya person but I now see where you're coming from! Particularly like the veined varieties. I'm still an alocasia guy though!😉
Hi Roos! I liked the video, and I do appreciate the variation in hoyas. But, no, you did not convince me .. :-D ! I still think they are a bit boring. Maybe because there are so many good TH-camrs that also "push" them... I have got one (1) hoya and it just bloomed for the first time, which was nice. But I am not ready to get nerdy about them! So there! ;-)
Hahaha this is awesome to hear, thank you for your honesty. I actually started making more hoya content a few years ago cos there was hardly any! So it's interesting that now for you it feels like many people are pushing them. Good job on getting yours to bloom!!
I was in a shop a few weeks ago and almost bought a Meridithii. But went for Icensis instead. Why why why didn't i get a Meridithii? It's so special and beutiful. sign.
Im not a Hoya lover at all but this video was a lot of fun. I really liked the Dinosaur looking Hoya and the one with the big leaves (sorry i can't remember the names).
Hoya lover here☺️, thank you for showing us part of your hoya collection. Absolutely stunning hoyas😍!! My fav ones at the moment are- lacunosa mr tent, variegated cumingiana, vitellinoides, sarawak cream, clemensiorum (indonesia) and crassipetiolata splash. I will leave it at that because the list is endless😅
I love Hoyas already, but I gotta say, this is an expensive collection you have here! I'm still not willing to pay so much for an admittedly amazing plant. they are gorgeous tho

I loooooove Hoya!! (Sending you good vibes, too!) ❤
thank you very much! hoya are awesome
I have never met a plant I didn't like. Yes, I like Hoyas, I also like orchids and other things that flower. Thanks for sharing your plants with us.
Oh haha that must be a challenge with space 😅 I'm quite picky with what I like, tho i have been known to change my mind 😅❤️
Yes, I get it, I absolutely love your Clemensiorum!! wish I could find one already established, like yours it’s beautiful!
Thank you! I grew mine from a single leaf / node cutting! So it can be pretty quick, plus Hoya not that hard to root and grow 🙌
I was one of those ppl that did not like Hoya,as the only one I’d ever seen was the plain Carnosa, now I ❤ them! Your collection is beautiful, your Linearas is the best I’ve ever seen. ❤🍃🍃Natalie
Yesss haha I was the same!! Thank you - had to restart the linearis so I'm happy it's still looking long and lush
Oh, and globulosa I also have, and meredithii, finlaysonii and calistophilia
Hi Roos, I am a Hoya Head, I love them and I love your choices!! I would like to add to that the Rigida & the Globulosa are beautiful and two of my faves!!

I hope you decide to try the cao dang and please let us know if you do!!
I have most of the same Hoyas and am so thrilled to watch this video
Some cool hoyas! And to think I also did not use to like hoyas 😄 but the collection is slowly growing! Would welcome wilbur graves, sarawak, sulawesi gps 8867 and obovata with open arms 🤩
And many more probably 🤭
haha i was the same!! i actively didn't like hoya until december of 2019!
I love them all. 😍 Thx for a great video ❤️
Glad to hear it! I loved making it 😍❤️
I loveeeeeeee your hoyas! I just got a small clemensorium and meredithii myself and i cant wait for them to grow!!
Thank you! They're so cool, congrats on your new plants!!
I am not a hoya lover at all and while I won't say that you changed my mind; I was 'kinda' drawn to the Hoya heuschkeliana variegata. I would love to see a full pot of that one. Thanks for your effort and enthusiasm!
Thank you! I actually found my full pot haha it is in my kitchen, but it's not pink like it used to be. So a bit more light will be good for it
I really enjoyed this short and sweet Hoya content :)
Happy to hear it!

After watching this video I ordered one of my wishlist hoyas - the Callistophylla!! Thanks for the motivation! 💚✨🙂
That's so cool!! It just flowered, they're so small and cute!

That's so cool that yours is flowering!! My inner variegated one is just getting big again - I cut it a lot to make some money a year or two ago.
Loveeeed this video! I think you’d like Swiffer’s treat because it reminds me a bit of Clemensiorum. My favorites right now are Latifolia Queensy, Nyhuusiae, Narcissiflora, AH 049, Natta, & Patchawaralai 077. 🤩
Oh interesting thank you! So cool, none of your favs are in my collection (yet) 👌🏻❤️
what people need to understand is you need to see and touch a hoya in person to truly appreciate them. I just thought they were average trailing vines until I got the chance to see an established one.
Yes this is so true! They're so different irl!

Thank you! I am a hoya head 😊and my bella has been blooming for almost a year.. now my spartiodis is another story... my dream is to find one with those big gnarly leaves..
That's amazing!! Mine only flowered once and now I cut it up to save the plant so probably no flowers again
Some nice ones there. I was a non hoya person but I now see where you're coming from! Particularly like the veined varieties. I'm still an alocasia guy though!😉
Thank you! This is cool to hear. And yessss I love Alocasia!!
My favourite is wayetii
i recently decided I was indeed into hoyas... currently in the process of ordering a cutting pakket on marktplaats :D wish me luck!
Nice! Welcome 😅 I have linked a few great plant webshops on my website that sell hoya
Hoya Bella is a tough one for sure
Goodmorning😁 I have a question when does the clemensiorum start to get its crusty Jurassic look mines still all shinny😢
Hmm I'm not sure.. I have one with less pronounced veins, that's genetics not age.
I’m a fan… love the Clemensorium…. Yeah, that one. 😂
💚💚💚 je heb een goede collectie😮

Hahaha thank you for sharing! Sounds like a great selection
I love Hoyas already, but I gotta say, this is an expensive collection you have here! I'm still not willing to pay so much for an admittedly amazing plant. they are gorgeous tho
Why don’t you take better care of you Hoya? Some of them are dehydrated and some of them have mealy bugs for heaven sake
You don't know about my plant care. Plus I think self care and mental health is more important than plant care in the end.
