Both Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip know this, so when they got married in the 1940s, they knew it wouldn’t be a normal marriage.
They have been together for more than 70 years, but there are understandably some things about their marriage that are quite strange. The Palace were worried that many were going without and so the kings sent them back with a thank you. This is when the Royal Family belong to its people. If there are many reasons England, Wales, Scotland, Canada and Australia, have had no civil war since Culloden in 1746, having a constitutional monarchy is an important one. In the 19th & 20th centuries the U.S.A, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Greece suffered in various ways civil wars, political storms, and dictatorships. This shows what can go wrong in the absence of a stable constitutional monarchy that is above politics, which opposes illegal dictatorship and helps keep the peace.
The Queen & Prince Philip had their failings as parents. Prince Philip could be tactless. Whatever mistakes the royal family have made, let us be grateful for the service he gave, and the difference the monarchy makes for the better, in everybody's lives.

You know, if we could all afford it, all couples should sleep in separate rooms. It helps in getting a much better and less disturbed sleep. Especially if one or both are snorers or have different work schedules. And in this modern day and age, if one loves to watch a TV show or endless TH-cam channels,like this one on their mobile device, whilst in bed. Having separate bedrooms means the other won't be disturbed by that activity. Sweet dreams..... 🛏💤

Now he does snore sometimes , and very loud lol but I still wouldn’t let that come in between us sleeping in the same bed .
Or you find ways around it. Until my boyfriend got used to the sound of my TV on at night. I would load stuff on my phone and put this soft headphone band on. And he has to have the fan on so I grab a second blanket. You make compromises. Now he can't sleep without the TV and I can't without the fan.
