- Hello everyone! In today's video, we will look at the easiest way to get the six different endings in Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life. The different career paths for your child are rancher, farmer, musician, artist, athlete, and scholar. Your child's career will determine the ending that you get. Will you your child inherit the farm or leave your family in the dust?
So I bought all the toys not knowing this. I just wanted to spoil my son! 😂😭
On the plus side, you get to see a special scene for each toy! Haha, I think in your first file you should just do whatever you want and then if you want to see a different ending you can push them into a different career in that file.

To be fair, I did get Rancher interest boosted beyond Athletics ability, so my efforts are working; I just need to keep up the good work. =3

I really wish there was a toy for each career path I feel bad taking all their toys away lol. They could have stuffed animal for rancher, mini watering can for farmer, and xylophone for musician.
I give them what they're worst at. Like Nami's son always gets the ball. Molly's son gets the car.
I wish they had at least one musical instrument! I feel like most (real life) babies have a baby’s first instrument type of toy.
well, u have an entire farm to cover both rancher and farmer, thats why theres no toys, u have the real thing living with u lol
Do the Toy Blocks give any career bonuses? If not, then that might be the ideal toy for the career paths that don't get toys.
@@DigiDestined13 blocks increase art. And the only 2 careers with no toys are ranching and farming, and that is because u live in a farm full of farm things to show, so theres no need for toys lol
For Rancher if you show your child Milk in year 3 they will ask if it is fun to milk cows and if you select "So Fun!" they will gain some interest in ranching. You can do that once a day too
Yeah, for scholar you can show them something from the dig site everyday and say you dug it up from the dig site for scholar points everyday!
I’m far from that point in my save rn, but omg I find it funny (and sad) that we should take their toys away if we want them to go on a specific career path 😂
Yeah, MOST endings can be unlocked without too much guiding, but if you want the scholar ending… take away everything non-scholarly immediately, hahaha. No ball or sketch book for you!

@@elithegaymer I actually got scholar ending even though i bought all toys, not sure if its a miracle, since they seem a bit negative and self deprecated.
@@elithegaymer I think it also depends on the kid. I have Gustafa's son for my second playthough and was trying to get him into music because I knew it was a hard one, but then he suddenly got SUPER interested in academics as a toddler and it's been that way from then on. To keep him on that path, I've been giving him a lot of rocks and answering questions like "I can add two digits in my head" or "I made this butter/cheese with a machine", and then he gets interested and wonders if it's one of Daryl's inventions. With my first playthrough, I just did whatever with Molly's daughter to see what would happen. As expected, she was super athletic...until becoming VERY interested in art as a teenager, and I ultimately got the artist ending.
i'm fine with my child taking on any profession, except athlete. and what is she excelling the most at? being an athlete ofc 🤦

How often should u show ur child the tools and caring for crops/animals a day? I’m trying to lean Gordys child to inherit the farm but it’s going up so slow

I think I’ll try to be friends with everyone, get the kid all the toys I can afford, and show them everything. I want all the options to be open to them, but I won’t try to push them in any specific direction, because I just want them to do what makes them happy.
Yeah, in my first file, I just did everything that I wanted to do and was nice to my child. Later play files I tried to steer my child into a different career just to try to experience more of the game.
Another option for scholarly child is Matthew!
Scholar is such a funny one because no one is “best” at it, but it fills a lot of characters’ 2nd slots . . . It’s the career I’d most like to get the ending for because it’s really cool, but 2 of the 3 candidates I’m looking at have 0 scholar points lol (thanks Muffy & Rock.). I kind of wonder how much it really matters though, seeing how you always have to work hardest for Scholar in particular. . .

I married Gustafa and have not been influencing music in any way but she had a huge jump in music ability, however her highest like is ranching. Currently in chapter 4.
I got a music book from Romana at max friendship but I can’t put it inside the toy box and when I show it to my child he just says playing an instrument is hard. Anyone know what to do with the music book? Thanks
One unfortunate thing is, every child is different… And on top of that, every child is different every year! In the strategy guide, each child gets a full page of what they like and dislike each year! So if your child doesn’t like it this year, they might next year (when they are older and may have a chance at learning how to play it). I wasn’t kidding when I said that raising children is very complicated, haha.
Im on my first playthrough still and aiming for Luminas son to be a Scholar, I got his academic interest to go above music In the toddler stage but due to a toy mistake I made during the spring and summer (I gave him blocks Instead of the car) I didn't get his academic skill to overtake music in time and got the music cut scene, fortunately I answered negatively towards Luminas music question and I'm now near the end of the child stage and both academic bars have overtaken the rest :)
I'm on my 5th day of Winter and I just know that you can show things to your child..and I bought all the toys😭! I married Molly and want my child to be a rancher or farmer..but the athlete bar is so long 😭😭 Thank very much for the guide❤❤

Dont worry it will be like that till mid child stage then their interest changes first if you are doing it right in teen years their ability changes into what you were working towards as well.
Question, When you said doing stuff in front of our child let's say ranching work, do you do your ranching work in front of your child every single times? It's bloody tedious because we have to re pick up our kid again and again to prevent them getting out of the barn while we brush and snuggle with the animals...
I’m going to be honest right now I really don’t want to be a pressure parents to my first child with gordy in forgotten valley in 2024 & I just let my first child to make him or her their own decision instead of forcing them because I want to spending the morning & evening on my farm & spending the afternoon with the townspeople & my child & gordy too & I want to live my life in forgotten valley just like I did to olive town & mineral town

i missed out on doing all of this stuff when my kid was a child! now i’m in the first year of my child being a toddler i guess- i don’t want her to be a farmer or a rancher but i did marry Matthew. can i still influence her at this age?

Is it still possible to get specific endings for your child even if your spouse doesn't have the predisposition for it? For example, if I marry Lumina can I still have my child become a rancher?
Yes, any child can go down any path, you just have to put more work in.
I just hit Chapter 4, and realized my daughter isn't taking the usual gifts for farming/ranching anymore. Do I still get a boost for at least showing them the items in question?
Also i forgot if you mentioned it or not, but you can raise your kid's like of ranching and farming a little during the music night event with the shooting stars that you get to wish on
Some boosts don’t appear until the end of the year unfortunately. Pay attention to your child’s responses though. They usually lead you in the right direction.
@@elithegaymerNow I'm in chapter 4,married Lumina and had a son.Both like and ability bars are farming but still got the music cut science with gustafa.Son even say''I hate growing plant''or''I hate when people say when I smell like dirt'' in normal conversation even tho his best interest is farming.Is that normal in chapter 4?

It's a good thing I did a split save set up lol Thank you so very much. This is extremely helpful. I never knew I was always messing up when I always bought all the toys and putting them in. I feel bad taking all of them out too but, I guess they could always play with the animals and whatnot lol If only that was actually a real aspect of the game. That would be fun to see
Learned some new things here! In my first save file, I married Nami and wanted to challenge myself to make my son a farmer. It’s going well so far! His greatest like is farming by quite a bit but his skills are in art still.
I carried him to vestas farm every day as a child, showed him my tools, seeds, crops. Talked to/befriended the farmers.
I also tried to discourage art by him asking if I was a square and answering “no I’m not a square, I’m cool.”
I love challenge runs! I think it’s interesting to have some play files where I go with the flow and just do what I want and then others where I try to do unusual things. I love that the game lets you lead any child into any career!

Gordy also likes fossils, milk or milky soup. Do NOT give him fish, he hates it.
Neat guide. Gotta say I am unintendedly doing a challenge run I guess. I want my child to be a farmer or Rancher but I married Gordy and I got them all the toys and will feel to bad to take them away now. I'm in the middle of fall of chapter 2 and my daughter's farming interest is almost caught up to their artist interest. So hopefully it will still work out

Married molly and still screwed up, getting a stupid athlete q.q the one I wanted least.. Idk why it raised so much more.. I didn't do much athlete things.. Year 5 now.. She likes ranching most but skill is athlete orz
man, my son with molly becomes artist and my son with cody becomes scholar T_T
but now, i restarted my game and marrying lumina and i want my son/daughter to be artist so they can visit romana and sebastian more, because before in my first run i married lumina and my daughter turns out to be a farmer and it sucks because my daughter never visit the mansion so yeah hope me luck!!
Didnt know this at all! In year 4 with mollys daughter and wanted her to be a rancher instead of athlete but after learning this, now im debating whether to restart after ive done so much already and gotten all the goddess tools lol 😂
Haha, I like to replay games, and I usually just do whatever I want in my first play file… Then in my second play file I research everything I can about the game to see new things in the next play file. Also, intentionally just do different things to experience more of the game… So it’s up to you!
@@elithegaymer yeah this is my first time playing this game as i never played the original so this is all new to me lol ill have my teenager now decide what they want this first run then ill probably do more saves with other spouses to get rest of the endings .. i am enjoying this so far itsvery different from any other SoS ive played with getting old literally lol
Oh no I had no clue about this my kid is now to big to be picked up I want them to take over the farm I'm in the blessings chapter I checked her likes and ability she has art is there a way I can get her to not be good anymore at it or am I to late
So there's only limited options for what your child can achieve based on who you marry? I always thought it was more that they were just more likely to choose certain things but you could still pick anything regardless of who you married if you did the right stuff. i haven't played special edition to completion in years, so i really don't remember haha. I played it a LOT as a teen to the point i get burnt out somewhere in year 2 every time i play it now. So glad the remake isn't having that affect so far xD
they can become anything regardless of who you marry... but its far less likely... you can still pull it off with alot of dedication to that 1 path.

They can become anything, it's just harder to influence them in certain ways depending on who you marry. In my first playthrough I married Molly and my daughter was super into athletics until she was a teen, then she got super into art and ultimately became an artist. I was just doing what I wanted and not trying to influence her.
do you have any information about getting ducks?? can you only get them in year 2 or can you unlock them whenever? i’m in year 3 and i just bought the pond- but i either need to upgrade my coop or sell some chickens to make room for the ducks (if i haven’t missed them)!

I had no idea this could even be influenced in the original game! Thanks for the guide! I wanted to ask if it's not a nuisance; what is the best way to manage sleeping in this game? I almost always have the tired debuff but it doesn't seem to effect my game that much, is there an optimal way or time to sleep? Can't seem to find a clear answer for this anywhere. 💔
What time does your character get up and go to bed? I have the alarm clock, but I still get up at 6:00 in case my spouse or child wants to do some of the farm work for me. I get the tired debuff at 10:00, but by then I have all of my work done. I’m pretty sure your character needs at least 7 hours of sleep to not have the tired debuff early.
@@TheBlueEyedOriginal Thanks for the reply! I'm probably staying up too late then, because I always get the tired debuff in the early afternoon. I'm still in the early game but I always wake up at 6, I just often sleep after midnight, so that'll be it.
So the snuggling action is the only one we should do for a child interested in ranching? Also, does that mean for friends, we should defriend everyone who isn't Takakura? :o
It depends on how hard you want to push the child into a certain career. I think for your first play file, you don’t have to worry so much. However, if you want to see a different ending a second time, I’d recommend defriending everyone who would lead your child into a different path. Many villagers have no effect on your child’s career (Grant and his family, Nina, Gary, Pui, Chris, etc.)

yes... any child can become anything its just much harder if your child isn't aligned with that path (marrying the right person)
Any child can be because nami’s child has 0 interest as rancher but i made him a rancher in the end.
I just don’t get what the different careers do, like does it continue the game or does it end ?
You see different scenes throughout the years and you see different endings. The game does continue but in Heaven mode it doesn’t matter what career your child chose.
Mind if i ask, but scholar is the career that make the children leaves the town?
I think they do for all of them but farmer and rancher

Yeah, the musician ending isn’t bad at all. You can see Gustafa and my child putting on shows for different people in this video. Not a sad ending at all. Not sure what it’s like with Lumina or what the other endings are like.
How do I discourage the child from liking music?
You can’t discourage them from liking something. The meters only go up, never down. Your only choice is to make them like something else more.

Question for you or anyone who can answer this: If I wish for my kid to take over the farm during Starry Night will it raise farming, ranching or both?
Both.
I am in year 2 fall 9th i have shown my kid the animals and by products everyday and snuggle him have seen no change in his interests for rancher.
You should see the change at the end of the year. At the end of every year, their interests will jump up a lot.
Is there a way to trash the toys or store them somewhere? The ball and sketchpad have been in my inventory for 84 years.. 😩
Just outside your house you have a fridge and a cabinet.

umm... what is the benefit of the child's career for us?
Well, there are 6 different endings to the game, and your child’s career affects that ending (and a lot of other scenes throughout the years) so it’s more exciting to see different routes each time that you play. Also, some people just want their child to have a specific career.
@@elithegaymer Also I believe certain career path would help us with our farming later, like farming help us water the crop and ranching filling the animals feeding spot.

In the original game ur character dies in last chapter, but since they removed a lot of adult contents, Will u survive in the last chapter? Anyone knows? Does the game ends or does it keep on going foreller?
