Because I studied in Ljubljana and received all my degrees in the building on the left (the Rectorate building of the University of Ljubljana ), this embroidery design is extra special for me. VERY BEAUTIFUL INDEED.
, love your work , thank you for your great content. Was wondering if you could pls give me any advice on how to start selling my embroidery pieces... and what makes an embroidery worthy of being in a gallery verses a shop that sells crafts. Thank you, any feedback appreciated...
This is so beautiful! I loved seeing it being finished in front of the building that inspired it.🤩 May I ask, do you recommend using some sort of backing to protect the design before use? Thank you!
Thank you!! To be honest, I never use backing neither when I embroider my clothes nor on Tote bags and it has never been any problem. Though I know many who swear by the backing, so I'd suggest you do what feels the most natural to you! Personally, the most important is to make sure that you secure your floss properly every time with knots so tha you're able to wash it without risking the threads to undo themselves :) Hope his helps!
@@CharlesElin ahh, thank you so much for sharing your insight with me and responding so quickly, too! Super super helpful! I appreciate it :) thanks again!
Beautiful! I want Tod embroider a tote bag as a gift, what do you do to not show the threads on the inside of the bag? Do you have a lining or something?
I haven’t tested it, but if the fabric is paler, I would imagine that putting the pattern under the fabric against a window and tracing with the light could perhaps be a more complicated alternative?

Wow this is so nice. Very good job 👏
Thank you for this tip. It saves me from having to make the bag myself. Good work!

It’s so gorgeous ❤
Great designs❤
Please list out the tools and materials used.
Thanks.
Elin...this is fabulous. How do you keep the other side of the bag from being accidentally entangled in the stitching?

لكن ما اسم الأداة التي استخدمتها لرسم الباترون
I think it’s transfer paper :)
ورق كربون
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Is there no other way to transfer the design?
