Hi Honida! We are no experts with the punch needle, but I'm sure you can use the same principle of movement with it as well! The key to this kind of sky is really to feel the movement, shift the direction of your stitches and the colours (which you can also do with punch needle!) Hope this helps :D Best, Elin

It's a 1-5 needle (for example DMC has a pack called 1-5 where you have some various length so you can choose what you prefer.) Charles often uses a little shorter than me (Elin), but the thickness ratio of the 1-5 is quite good for this kind of embroidery :)
I would really love to. Learn to embroider a landscape. I just can't get the "groove" for some reason. I embroider all the time but landscaping escapes me. Can you help me
Hi skeeter! Don't limit yourself in your mind, we're sure you can embroider amazing landscapes! A couple of main things to consider are the textures, which are created by varying techniques. Secondly is the perspective, which gets emphasized by the direction of your Stitches. Thereafter you have of course coloring and the composition.
