Last item is possibly a tuning coil from an antique radio receiver. Bakelite would be correct, and the weight would be from the copper wire inside. You slide the ring that would have a wire attached to tune in a resonate frequency (desired frequency).

To be fair that was the first thing I thought of and it's a sound theory, however.
Radio coils were not encased, heat would build up and there needs to be a direct contact with the copper coil.
There are no wire leads or other electrical connections.

I would take a close look at the Gurney furnace to make sure it does not contain any asbestos before you start doing anything to it. If it does and you cut into it you will contaminate the entire area.

Like he said: it might be valuable so he might get a nice chunk of cash for it which would possibly make it worth removing a door frame or two.

Its for drying your boots; put boots upside down on two outer rongs.

I think the last item is for holding skeins of yarn while you wind it into a ball, I used to do this for my mother and would have loved something like that.

And then you push it together to release the skein... I like it.

@@user-wm3bf7pi3u actually you put the skein on and separate the arms to keep slight tension on the skein while you roll the yarn in a ball, the tension is necessary to keep yarn from tangling it also makes able to accommodate different sized skeins. I guess you could just knit off of the device but it doesn’t seem very mobile, maybe if you have a knitting chair that you always sit in.

Final item is a bowel excavator/vacuum to aid in the removal of a hardened impacted stool from the colon.

This is the industrial version, by Benjamin Dover of Congleton.
Those made for domestic excavation were smaller and usually decorated with an exotic flower motif.

ok... the first item......... really ..... a rubber band shooter reworked to stuff rubber bands into tires........

Not dissimilar to the current system for temporarily repairing punctures in automotive tubeless tyres/tires.
When you get a puncture a long way from anywhere out bush, they are especially useful - both spare tyres getting punctures in not unusual offroad.

    • @BabalonNuit
      @BabalonNuit 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

Yes. the outside tire just needs to accommodate the innertube so packing rubber into a hole in it makes sense.

@@DrakeN-ow1im The concept is not in question.......
      a RUBBER BAND SHOOTER!?!?!!?
