The last item is a water cooling device for a hit and miss engine. The water trickles down through the screen and it cooled on the way and at the bottom it is taken back into the engine. There's a lot more to it than just these few words but that's how it essentially works.
Aw, I finally know one of the mystery items and you beat me to it ;) This would have been from a little bit bigger engine than the ones you usually see photos of. Those just had cast water jacket and reservoir system as that was all that was needed. This maybe would have been for something around a 10 - 15 HP engine? I'm just guessing at that but Dad had a couple 6 HP engines and they also just had the water jacket/reservoir system. And it's not large enough to be for one of the bigger engines like you may find on an early tractor.
I have a large, still functional antique scale just like that big one you showed! It's in remarkable condition... I had no idea it was actually worth money! 🤯🤯🤯
Last object is a radiator for a Hit and Miss Stationary Engine. As the engine is run water is pumped through the hose to a pipe along the top. Holes allow the hot water to drip and flow down the copper screen to cool. The cooled water is then collected to feed back through the engine.
I wonder how much the Chinese bong is worth?
Number one shows us that we should asked questions before it’s too late. If I could turn back time, I had a lot.
The US has been flexing muscle for quite some time now.
In the 1960s ny father owned a supermarket and I acquired several Guinness toucan lapel pins as well as a couple of koala stuffed toys related to New Zealand cheese and butter advertising.
As soon as I saw the interior of the tea cozy, I knew what it was.
No, no it's a hat for a Tarts and Vicars tea party.
as soon as I saw it I knew, we had the same model just a different print when I was growing up.
side note, one great aunt insisted on drinking 1 glass of Stout every day, Stout being the UK version of Guinness.
Yeah the padding gave it away ❤
LOVE your channel, we learn SO much trivia TY
You are so welcome!
I like this content
Its a hit or miss engine cooler maybe remade at some point
👁👁 👏👏
Looks like a cat scratcher
I can't believe that a yone could mistake a tea cosy, utterly then it prolly says a lot about my age. Dorothy Sayers the creator of Peter Wimsey inve Ted the Guinness is good for you when she worked as a copy writer in an advertising g agency.
I sincerely hope this is ai patter...I don't think a human could get this drunk and survive...
@@mikereid1195 I have been... or at least that is what the police report said... I don't remember.
Last item: A cage or a trap for animals?
Lets count how many relatives, professions, and living locales this AI has related so far. I enjoy the info but the obviously AI generated tales are the best part ;)
Last item is a gazinta. It is normally paired with a guzowtta
This new "stable volume" option seems to be cranking the background music.
Keep friggering out stuff but never post tge tea cossie was aesy
