I just got my resound hearing aids. My hearing specialist did not give me any extra ear domes or any wax filters, which is extremely puzzling. I was told I have to schedule an appointment in order to get the required maintenance. From my understanding, these are things I can do myself without them billing my insurance for. My question is, do you provide these items for your patients?

Why did the Re Sound engineers make the charger where you have to install the right or left ear in its designated place?

We’re currently running an in-house study on the benefits! I’ll do a follow up video with results, but we are definitely seeing better speech understanding and a lot of comments on them being super comfortable!

Does the premium charger have a capability to add moisture pac while charging?

It’s not built for a desiccant spot. If you use domes there is room for a drying pack, probably not with molds.
That being said, the fully sealed lithium ion batteries result in fewer moisture issues overall. We are recommending a 5-8 minute cycle in an active dryer before plugging them in for folks who have a lot of moisture exposure, but most aren’t needing it.

I have a profound to severe hearing loss. Do you recommend these resound one or the phonak paradise?

I would need a lot more information to make a good recommendation, but probably neither. There are separate lines of devices that are specifically designed for severe-to-profound hearing losses, and would probably be best.
