Mobile has 0 bugs with twins let that skin in we don’t have any bugs with twins why are they broken on your end the official version. Dbd mobile is supposed to be a knock of version with things from every version yet we don’t have like any bugs hackers or that much toxicity. What the fuck behavior what did you do?
Hot take number 1: I'm tired of perks getting nerfed just because they are used frequently. Sure some of them deserve their nerfs but others don't. Most perks that people complain about are complained about because they are easily noticeable. People continually go to the next perk that's used a lot when the one they were complaining about gets nerfed. My point is that people need to complain less to justify their lack of skill. Even after the most busted perks got nerfed people went to Fing WINDOWS sometimes even head on and call them op perks to justify them losing when it is actually just a skill issue. Hot take 2: Dead hard was over nerfed and should have stayed in its .5 second haste state instead of locking it behind hook stages. Now hear me out the problem with the earliest version of dead hard was that it was too easy to use for all players and the skill ceiling was low. Whereas the second version was the most balanced because it was extremely fun to use as it insentivised baiting and mind games. The problem with it was using it under a pallet and being too easy to use not the amount of uses it gave. Hot take 3: Possibly not a hot take but I personally miss the aesthetic and especially darkness of old DBD. The darkness of the maps made them more fun to make sneaky plays mid chase and helped stealth and trap killers to actually use their powers. Sure the darkness offerings may have been annoying but at least they made a meaningful change in the experience compared to the laughably bad other offerings in the game.
hey kaiser, long time viewer here. you shouldn't have to excuse or explain yourself. As you can see a lot of people like you and your sarcasm and humor and if some people don't vibe with that, that's fine. Ignore them, push on. Nobody is liked by everyone, never apologize for who you are.
My Dbd hot takes are 1. Balance landing is a bit underrated but granted it very situational and works well because many killers will not except it 2. Iron will should go back to making you completely silent but keep it will not work when exhausted. 3. I think trapper should start will all of his traps and after he sets all of them up then cap it at two
@@oneautumnleaf2622 True but I always saw Iron will as a beginner friendly perk, and the whole point is to teach new players to hide better which more experienced players won’t need help doing. Sure it will still help but old Iron Will didn’t make impossible to find survivors since they still leave scratch marks and blood. The only main problem I see is people who play Spirit. So I think a better version would be if your crouched or standing still you are silent and if you run or do any action your only quiet by 75% with the exhaustion affect added. Since now it’s not a bad perk but no one really runs it since there are better perks that can make you silent and hide blood and scratch marks. But that’s just my opinion.
@@oneautumnleaf2622 true but I’m just bias towards it I’m not going to lie. Like I just don’t the old Iron affect gameplay that much but I was new to the game so that could be skewing my opinion. Also I’m going to assume you’re much higher MMR than me because I hardly see it used at all like I might have seen it used twice since MTF released so I don’t know much about that. Also fun fact if you run no no mither with iron will it will make you completely silent.
Legion is SO boring to fight and a good one with the right add ons can lock down the game worse than skull merchant. It’s just mending and trying to keep the randoms from putting him in power. Also, your dead hard take is great because sometimes it just does not work. I don’t want to cry lag but half the time they just faze through it and it’s wasted. One last thing, NOED is not overpowered but it’s supremely unfun. When the killer plays terribly he still gets rewarded with a free one shot for no good reason. They he just gets to camp you and get a free kill (especially when the totem and hook are right next to eachother. It’s not good on the killer side but at the same time punishes survivors who played well all game
About nemesis zombies, the devs have said that due to hardware limitations on the server side, they cannot spawn more than two zombies without immense lag, and they've tried
@@Skillfulstone No, a custom server as the name implies can be customized to fit your needs BHVRs servers need to hit and maintain the bottom line until they create a new killer that bends the boundaries.
a hot take: It isnt badly designed or unfun. you just see it too many times and think that. For example back in the day when there were fewer killers and billy was pre nerf, anywhere i went i heard how boring it is to go againts a billy and all it took for people to appriciate him was to decrease the pickrate this goes for surv perks as well
If you ever decide to do more hot take videos I have a few more for you. 1. Yui, Jane and Zarina should have been from the same time period as the killers they debuted with so Feudal Japan, Ancient Babylonia and the Wild West. 2. Dredge’s teleport should prioritise UNLOCKED lockers. 3. Many Killer addons should be made basekit e.g. Haddies calendar for Dredge and Caged Heart shoes for Trickster etc. 3. Shattered Hopes totem breaking effect should be basekit. 4. BHVR needs to buff some of the weaker perks that currently exist some examples for both sides: Poised, Self Preservation, Red Herring, Up the Ante and Slippery Meat on the survivor side and Beast of Prey, Predator, Blood Hound and Dragons Grip for killers. 5. Perks with long cool-downs (80 seconds) need to have them shortened.
My hot take is that I want a perk that lets survivors throw there items. If the item hits nothing and falls on the floor, it loses fifty percent of it's durability and makes a noise notification. If you throw it at a killer, it inflicts hindered on them based on the durability of the item and item type itself. Maps inflict the shortest slow, followed by keys, medkits in the middle of effectiveness, then flashlights, finally ending with toolboxes leaving the longest slow at full durability. Killer items can't be thrown, however things like flashbangs and fireworks can and explode upon contact with anything. If the thrown item hits the killer in the face it'll stun them instead of hindering them. The stun follows the same principle. If the item hits the killer at all the item breaks and disappears. My reason for wanting a perk like this is simple. It would be really fucking funny.
As someone who's playing alot of hillbilly lately because I heard ALOT of complaints about him, I don't think the overheat is that bad at all, it's not hard to work around and I've rarely overheated. I might be missing something but as I've learned him he's 1 incredibly fun and can be really powerful thanks to his mobility and curves at loops. I hope I'm not missing something I think it's the overheat mechanic that people are complaining about. (I also think it's good for a killer that can oneshot)
The complaint normally isn't that it's easy to overheat it's that the mechanic is overly restrictive on a completely fair killer when things like old nurse was around when they nerfed him
@@ComradeMaryFromMars Hi Thank you for responding, could you please go more In depth I would love to look more into this. I love talking about things like this, though in the DBD community it's a bit more nerve-racking since you can just be belittled at any moment. you also probably know something I don't because your comment was hearted so I probably just said one of the dumbest things known to man.
@@sterben76 Very well I would love to go into greater detail do you have a discord account? TH-cam is weird about letting you know about responses so it'd be more consistent to speak on a different platform
The core of the issue is that Legion has no stand out traits that directly capitalize on slowing down. The Legion isn't a set-up killer or a build-up killer, so the power is based on providing something that the power doesn't directly benefit from, with only the fifth hit being particularly useful.
Yo, I know you are critical on yourself over the Otz video, but hey, that was my first introduction to you and I loved your style! So don’t go too hard on yourself.
Playing against Legion is hands down some of the most if not the most miserable experience I’ve ever had in gaming. Beyond boring on so many levels. But god forbid if we ever say anything negative about legion on the internet you get death threats. Which I did on twitter and then for 10+ days straight was attacked on twitter and told to kms from legion mains/fans on twitter it was absurd, just because I said the killer is boring to go up against So glad I found your channel!
Double Hot Take Time. Hot Take 1: If you are being tunneled and the killer kills you really fast (lets say 5-4 gens) that is YOUR fault. Basekit BT gives you more than enough time to get somewhere, there are anti tunnel perks that can give you extra health states, most the maps are sided to survivors anyways and while yes it is likely you will die eventually you can slow this time down by chasing well and maybe win your team the game. Hot Take 2: Camping is completely useless at mid-high MMR unless there is two people being camped or if there is only one other survivor in the trial. Also to anyone who debates my first take by saying nurse or blight yes two out of the 32 killers can feel uncounterable if they are tunneling you, but they can still be chased nonetheless
I do hope you decide to more hot take video in the future as I love watching them. Also I think I should explain a few of my takes. 1. I don’t hate Adrenaline, I just feel that in order to activate it you should have to contribute to the team via gens that’s why I put the bit about having to do one gen to get it, it can feel very cheap if you chase a survivor you haven’t seen all match (due to them hiding all game) they are still able to get it without have contributed to the team. 2. I do agree that Dredge should be more resistant to light sources rather than immune, but I said immune because Nightfall is supposed to be extremely dark (like phanta black) where light cannot get through. 3. Hopefully BHVR does redo tiles to where they aren’t as strong as before, I suggested the increased vault speed mainly due to how many loops are really big and are extremely safe (the log loops in the corners of the swamp maps come to mind). 4. The attack cool-down reduction is very dependent on the Killer, some have a long cool-down like Xeno it’s tail attack cool-down is frankly too long, hopefully at some point BHVR will decide to shorten the cooldown
1. I mean you are kinda right, but it is definitely a double-edged sword. Because let's say you add a requirement of doing gen to activate it. And what if a game happens when you chase a killer for 5 gens, because they overcommited to you for whatever reason. You definitely did deserve to get it as you distracted the killer for long enough time for your team to get gens done, but will not, because you physically didn't have time to do gens yourself as you were being chased. And hence why I think Adrenaline, even though really strong and sometimes annoying is absolutely ok. 2. I just don't get why Dredge as a killer should gain such resistance then? His turkey head that you blind is not made of this colour or anything like that. I think that a cool intetaction would be to make so you csn use flashies to temporarily remove the blackness of Nightfall in short area. 3. Well yes and no. Back in the day loops were definitely even and much safer than they are now. And I'm not even saying about the 2016 infinites, because I'm playing since end of 2017. Also consider that we also have perks to combat that (like Bamboozle) and that most of the times around that log, you do not have any other safe space especially if you push survivors to run towards the corner instead of open side of the map (sometimes with bad RNG on Pale Rose you can get strong tile next to it, but its not that it happens all the time) 4. With PTB Xeno, I would agree. With current one no, but only because your speed is so high during it, that realistically you lose barely any distance. It just takes some time to get used to it. And it lasting 3 seconds (same as Hillbilly) is totally ok.
@@jakubbogdanowicz9623 1. Ok I concede on that one in that scenario not having Adrenaline proc would feel really bad, sometimes though it can feel really annoying playing killer you’re just about to down someone and the the last gen pops triggering Adrenaline. 2. I thought that because when nightfall activates everything is swallowed by darkness, and therefore thought during it torches would be less effective I mean how do they work on Coldwind or Eyrie when it’s light there? 3. Loops aren’t as bad as they were back in DBD old days but with the introduction of new maps (RPD, Borgo, Garden of Joy and a few others) there have been window loops that have been getting bigger and bigger and while killers don’t vault as slow as they used to it’s one of the pieces of their kits that I feel is lagging behind, 20-25% may have been too much though. 4. Xeno’s speed makes up for it I do agree but there are other killers who really suffer from this Huntress comes to mind for me she takes so long to put a Hatchet away other killers have this problem too. Maybe if they decreased that time by 10% it would feel better
You should be forced to commit to your power if you decide to use it for killers like huntress. Getting close then going haha nope to basically instantly pull down your power for a hit is a bad idea cause then it goes from playing around a killers power or M1 to gotta keep my distance other wise they get a free hit. The whole once you pull up your hatchet you gotta use it is pretty fair once you get good at her you can hit them when their close and you will understand when to not go for your power but the M1. Imagine how good she would become suddenly at loops you wouldn’t be able to do anything really because whoops you tried to run got my power you stay M1. I miss read…whoops…my point still stands it just doesn’t stand against you so I’m going to leave it here is that ok?
As a killer main, I never understood why people didn't like playing against Legion until you explained it in the first one. I wouldn't call myself a main, but I play Legion quite a bit and I almost never go for that 5th hit down. Unless all the survivors are right next to each other it just isn't viable and it's better to get a couple deep wounds and then cancel to take a chase and get a down. Never occurred to me that people would do anything other than that since it seems like the easier way to play them
I've got a super spicy hot take here. DBD should move onto an expanded paid sequel someday in the nearish future. Moving onto a sequel would be a great opportunity for behavior to move past their well-known spaghetti code that is fully of issues (i.e. the current flashlight locker bug). Better organized code should be able to lead to better overall patches and less bugs as the game is updated. I also would love for a sequel as it can give the developers the ability to reevaluate certain things like perks and killers that cause a lot of problems, such as with Nurse and perks that are heavily impacted by her. Having an all new sequel could also be a good opportunity for new game modes to be developed and much more interactive and fun maps. On top of all of this, Behavior could maybe even consider slipping in a Story mode to further sweeten the deal. I get why they don't want to do a large sequel, as it's a massive risk with the already preestablished player base, and then just wanting to expand what they already have and starting from scratch could make players feel like they wasted money on the original game, but I think the chance to ultimately form an even better version of what they already have with an expanded sequel could really be beneficial for both the overly competitive player base and the developers themselves.
I got a hot take for ya. Survivor perks should not be as strong as they are, because the way they're set up right now is that it's either you wipe them because they aren't playing optimally or they wipe you because they're playing with a 4 stack and the best perks in the game.
Gonna drop this here to see if anyone likes my ideas on p100 cosmetics from yesterdays vid you made. It’s a long read. For p100 they should add personal heirlooms for each character depending on their lore. Who gives a fck if it’s an apex thing it fits right into dbd. *It could work like this* . -At P100 you unlock new cosmetic slot called the heirloom slot. When the heirloom is equipped (specific to that survivor) it will show in the hands of the survivor,Much like items. If your carrying an item IN GAME the item has superiority meaning SO LONG as you have an item in trial *Your heirloom will not show*. After the item is dropped or depleted the heirloom will show. *the heirloom will only have priority over items in the pre game lobby so you can show it off at least* . *what they will do* - when equipped in hand that survivor will be able to preform a p100 emote so long as they have the heirloom equipped. Unique for that survivor. Here’s what some of those could be *survivor heirloom ideas* Quentin : Quentin’s heirloom could be a bottle of NARCOLEPSY pills to keep him awake. His emote, being him opening the bottle and downing a pill😂. David : We all know David’s a scrapper he’s always in the pub starting something. His could be a bottle of whiskey in his hands. His emote can be him opening the bottle and downing a swig to get him feeling numb for a fight😂 Kate : Kate is known as a renowned as a famous country singer and song writer from a small age. Her heirloom could a small loot or banjo. Her emote could be her tuning it like you would before you play it! Ace : Ace is known as a lucky guy who’s also cunning and seems to get out of bad situations by himself, almost as if he always had an ace up his sleeve. His Heirloom could be a LITERAL deck of playing cards in his hands. His emote could be him shuffling the deck only to pull out an ace of spades on the first try :). Can’t go forever cuz this comment would be ages long. But let me know what you think
@@Why____Not I left the comment twice on two videos for the sole purpose to get others who will take the time and read so I can get opinions. I’d love to take the idea somewhere.
@immortalso9743 Fair, it's a good idea. I would love to see my Steve pull out and put on sunglasses after pallet stunning the killer or having ash pull out the evil dead book ( I have bad memory) after stunning a killer.
@@Why____Not ya that’s exactly what I’m saying. Being able to do funny emotes with the characters lore specific item would be so cool. Being stuck with wave and point is so lame. And being able to spam characters heirloom emotes would not only mix it up for customization, but it would add more personality into the character your playing when you get their emote.
I've a hot take. I don't think knight is as bas as ppl say. He's a versatile kit and he has more counters then just holding W just most are to naive or don't have the skill to counter him
@@ItsNoahVG based. My first ever game was against the knight. I fell in love with him. I learned every little thing I could and eventually started to play killer when I had enough courage to try killer. I've gotta say if it wasn't for knight I'd have lost interest not long after starting
@@deinodan Thats good to hear, i have been having a similiar experience with pig. but im really starting to appreciate the different playstyles its fun
With all do respect 31:00 is such a cum brain take. We don't need more Thirst bait not everything revolves around sex and sex appeal. I get its a slasher and the two go hand and hand but we don't need more since there is already so much.
Aa far as I know, adrenaline wakes survivors up because it's lore-accurate for the movie The Nigtmares chapter is based on. Also, I have always hated Legion. They are massive game stallers amd I have literally never had fun with them. Playing against Legion feels so miserable I want to DC, which doesn't happen often anymore. I understand your POV really well in this regard
It’s still messed up imagine an end game build you purposely keep all of them in the dream world for it to work…then nope haha get cheated for making sure they would have to deal with your power when it mattered most it’s just unfair you didn’t do anything wrong in fact you did everything right.
People dislike adrenaline so much because there isn't really counterplay, it instantly negates all endgame pressure and only affects the already weaker killers. Playing an M1 killer and having someone become healthy or stand up and fly off at mach 1 is game changing, playing nurse and the same situation happening means nothing because you're inside them 5 seconds later. It's also one of those perks that's oppressively favours SWF's more than solo queue so most people you see run it are SWF's which means most of the time you run across it it's during an un-counterable situation. Just got a down and they instantly stand up and make distance while you wipe etc. The only counter was terminus (someone can correct me if they fixed it but I know they broke it a few months back so adrenaline works through terminus).
i have a take thats not really a hot take because im sure everyone will agree, i think to prevent tunneling, camping and slugging a few changes should be made. To prevent camping, killers cant go within 50 meters of a hook, no matter if someone is on it. To prevent tunneling, once a player is hooked they cant be hooked again until all other survivors are hooked. To prevent slugging they should remove the dying state from the game. I feel these changes and other changes like making dead hard base kit and have no cooldown will make better experiences for everyone playing the game.
I would like to mention that all of this benefits survivors and harm killers. Camping, Tunneling, and Slugging are parts of a strategy. You can overdo it to be toxic, sure. But sometimes you just need to camp in the end game to secure a kill, so you get a 2k instead of a 1k. Sometimes you just need to tunnel to apply more pressure, a 3v1 is much more managable than a 4v1. Sometimes, you need to slug in order to prevent a flashlight save, apply more pressure, or whatnot. Or what about sabo squads? They take down all the hooks near an area and camp it. Then all you can do is down them and fail to hook them over and over again forever.
I don’t agree that it’s good, I’d prefer it decrease your terror radius outside of chase like monitor but u have to earn it, currently against teams with communication it does nothing
This may be controversial, but i think the end game collapse should start once the final generator is finished rather than when the exit gates are opened. As a survivor, i find that the end game does not feel exciting or adrenaline inducing since survivors can just 99 the gates and basically have an unlimited amount of time to leave. This is frustrating when playing killer since end game perks such as hope or adrenaline that activate after finishing the last gen make securing 1 more kill much more difficult when the survivor is not pressured to leave as quickly as possible. I realise that perks such as noed, no way out and blood warden could be problematic with this system, however these perks could be individually tuned to accommodate for this change. An example could be that running these perks increase end game collapse timer.
8:54 not really. Terminus only counters adrenalin if the ping is very good but even a little bit of a bad connection and the adrenaline heal will occur before the broken effect
From how I personally perceive adrenaline, the general distaste towards it comes from how gen rushing can cause any pressure the killer has gained to just disappear. I understand it technically is a skill issue, however many killers, including low tier ones, suffer from this unless they bring 3 slowdown perks or never commit to chase. What I’m saying is that it’s tough out here as a myers main.
Id say Blight rn is stronger than Nurse, just because Nurse is more territorial, while Blight can pressure the entire map.. Nurse was stronger since u couldnt just trade yourself off the hook so well, especially with ping, but now since u just wait 50sec and then trade yourself in when the Killer camps, she is worse than blight cuz she cant pressure far away gens as good.
I think Adrenaline is fine balance-wise. My issue with it is that it feels terrible to play against because it turns a losing situation into a lose-more situation.
ok yeah i agree i went a bit overboard with my Take on Playtime. im someone who gets really into the Details. Like i know of almost all Perks, Addons and even Tech Killers and Survivors can do. But i cant play for shit. Like, im legit really bad if you compare it to my Playtime. And i think the same can be said about other People. I've met People with like 5K Hours that i told something they didnt know. So putting it so generally is of course going over board a bit. We all play this Game our way. And we all learn it out Way. There is nothing Wrong with it as long as we dont try to actively harm anyone. Thats why i stand to my point that we need to listen to everyone so we can all have fun :D (except of course Trolls. Cause maybe even Toxic People have a point sometimes.)
I feel like the whole idea of having to run certain perks to counter others is inherintly problematic. Perticularly because half of them are behind a paywall.
One hot take I had that was covered in this video of that "thirst trapping" and over sexualizing of the game is perfectly fine as sex and horror do go hand in hand, not just in slashers but grandouse filmz Watch movies like Evil Toon, Rabid, Silent Night Deadly Night, Bloodsucking Freaks, and even some of the Friday the 13ths had quite a lot of sex and nudity.
DBD Hot Take: The game will never be balanced, can never be balanced, and was never balanced. Survivor has always been the power role solely because of comms which can't be removed. The rage in DbD comes from the community and dev's obsessions with making the game a new Esport. Its not a competitive esport, its a poorly balanced mess and works best when played with friends as a fun poorly balanced mess. Hot take 2: Fuck Plague, plague is the most unfair bs killer. I'll die on this hill alone. Plague is a lose lose no matter what, my hatred for plague is only matched by her disturbing level of popularity. Some of you have problems
I could be wrong, but I think they fixed terminus countering adrenaline. I think adrenaline comes in before terminus does and heals the survivor before terminus activates.
I remember that bhvr had reversed which effect applied first and I was pretty sure when terminus released it activated first. If that was the case then it would be adrenaline first, unless it got changed again. I don't really have much way to test it though without dealing with the bots which is a pain.@@KaiserDaGaemer
I thought i posted a hot take but my internet has failed me again my hot take If a killer doesnt have an antiloop ability or a speed ability they are useless survivors just do gens and leave no matter how much pressure you have
My hot take is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with skull merchant, theres just something wrong with how everyone chooses to play her and how content creators push that play style, she was meant to be a chase killer, she has a haste perk, her drones are anti loop and they added haste to her claw traps which they said shouldve have been added to her kit to begin with, same for her add on being added into her base kit so claw traps make vaulted pallets break. she is and always was a chase killer, not a chess player.
“Hot takes!” When you play as Freddy everybody should start in the dream world by default it should not be an add for you to use your power immediately…ever for any killer whatsoever. Behavior pleas let all killers start with their powers so they can use them right away and so they can use them more effectively. The survivors clocks should be as far as possible away from each survivor if you don’t want to be in the dream world at the start you should basically have to run across the map or directly towards Freddys spawn. You can only be woken up by other survivors your clock and being hooked nothing else should wake you up. Ok now here are some real hot takes or at the very least what I think are real hot takes. There should be an extra gate by default for Freddy that if you open its just a brick wall with a sign that says “under construction pleas do wait I’ll be here momentarily to fix the problem.” Then Freddy gets an alert that you opened the fake gate. Freddy’s should have a meme add on that replaces his power with the ability to leave breathing cardboard cutouts that have their own terror radius that also only look real form certain angles like you have to go to it’s side to see that it’s fake or come from it at the back to know it’s fake. You can push over the cardboard cut outs to get rid of them they disappear into the ground when you do so giving back a token to Freddy just like dream snares. They are physical and can block the way to certain things when you are visible in their line of site directly he can see you with aura reading. He can also see all of his cardboard cut outs on the map at all times and when one is destroyed he gets a notification. That’s it thanks for reading pleas do tell me how I’m wrong or right.
I’m a twins main myself they are strong they are like oni but better at doing his job no offense to them but they lost me when they compared them to the dull merchant lol
Reaction to my hot take kinda surprised me, I think I should clarify that I don't think trickster is to powerful, I just think he is an easy killer to get the hang of (idk if I'm in the minority here I'm going off of my experience playing trickster)
I did come across a bit hostile I apologize. But yea part of what makes trickster so bad is that he isnt easy. His knives become useless at many loops and halfway competent survivors can easily avoid him getting much value
i would like to see it. As stated before i really like your Creativity. And i mean that. I feel many Content Creators just say the same stuff. Thats why i like your ideas :D @@KaiserDaGaemer
It's crazy seeing such hate boners for adrenaline. It's usually a non-factor in my killer games because most games don't make it to the end game. People who obsessively hate all exhaustion and endgame perks for Survivor, I hate to break it to you, but that's a skill issue most of the time. Yeah sometimes you'll go against an insane team on an insane map. But if adrenalinn and hope are bothering you that much, that you think they are pressing game balance issues, maybe you're just not that good at killer I despise Nemesis and I don't want any buffs to the zombies. Up until knight and SM he was by far my least favorite killer to play against in the game. I can't stand the boring antiloop tentacle that constantly puts you into a lose-lose scenario. If you get to a pallet or when do, he whips you while you're locked in the animation, but if you don't take the window or palette, he cancels his tentacle and hits you with an M1, he probably has save the best for last and you'll make no distance. And when playing Survivor the zombies are constantly giving him free map pressure, often chasing you off of generators or exit gates or interrupting heals or blocking doorways during a Chase. And often when that's happening, the Nemesis usually isn't playing particularly well, which makes it feel like it's undeserved pressure. Like the AI is carrying a subpar player. Personally my ideal power for Nemesis would be involving his flamethrower from the Remake. We have nothing in dead by daylight in terms of killer powers that utilizes fire. They have a fire animation thanks to the flamethrower turrets. And I think it would be badass if he had his flamethrower. It has a short wind-up time so you're not instantly dead at Loops he can see over or if you're out in the open. And enters a brief cooldown like it does in the remake. If it's used too excessively. He can shoot fire onto a window to block it, or cut off certain paths with Trails of Fire. He can possibly burn a dropped pallet by shooting it with the flamethrower and letting fire consume it. And for map pressure just get rid of the zombies. I don't believe any killer should have ai companions. It's just not fun to go against as a Survivor under any circumstance. And give him a Mobility tool. Let him use his tentacle as a grappling device. He can shoot something and pull himself towards it very rapidly kind of like Spider-Man. Even using it for vertical traversal like going up onto the saloon balcony or upstairs in houses. Or shoot a tree in the distance and pull yourself towards it. He literally does this in the remake. It would be far more consistent and useful than zombies that do nothing when you're playing as him, but carry Nemesis when you're playing Survivor. I know this rework will never happen. But I would love for the day where the killer with the best Chase music and some of the best visuals, becomes an actual strong Choice with interesting gameplay. Instead of yet another boring M2 fake antiloop zoning killer assisted by AI. I hate every Zoning Killer with a passion
Legion is the most boring killer? I have to personally disagree as yes mending is annoying, but once you’re injured he has no power. You could bring up the ability to chain hit to get a free down, but i have to be blunt here and say that if a legion manages to get a 5 hit chain that says nothing about their skill, and is purely your teams fault as the counter to it is literally holding W. I’ve personally never went against a legion that’s put me into mending a bunch because once I’m injured I don’t heal, as healing is a waste of time and will just make you get frenzied 20 seconds later. Which you did bring up being put into mending over and over, which to that I ask, are you healing or staying injured? Because if you’re healing, well to be blunt again, no shit you’ll be mending a lot. A legion has no reason not to Frenzy a healthy survivor as it requires almost no skill to land a frenzy hit. I seriously doubt a legion will keep putting you into mend if you’re injured. But all of that could be out the window if you’re talking about legions who only Frenzy and go for chain hits. And if that is the case, who cares? Mend and stick to a gen, if they come back, mend again and do the gen. If they commit? Well you’re injured and they have no power, loop them for as long as you can. If you’re team is actually failing to do their objective all because of a 8 - 12 mending time, that says more about your team then the killer. I also notice you said you give up whenever it’s a legion, this could unironically be lowering your skill rate on dbd and pairing you with players that don’t know how to verse legion, and could be the reason it seems your team is failing to counter him. Yes mending is boring, but for you to explain it in a way where “nothing gets done” that seems like more of a skill issue
Playing twins is like playing Russian roulette with a hand grenade sometimes your game just explodes
As a Twins main I would just like to say... it only feels like that when you let Victor look at a stair case for more than 5 seconds.
Side note wouldn't everyone die because it's a grenade?
Hot take: As soon as you move your hand away from your keyboard, a skill check will always appear
Thats why my skillcheck button is M4
Hot take: There's a 70% chance of getting a skill check when you need to scratch an itch
And 25% getting a skill check after you stop fixing the gen before it’s complete too
Hot take number 1: I'm tired of perks getting nerfed just because they are used frequently.
My Dbd hot takes are
1. Balance landing is a bit underrated but granted it very situational and works well because many killers will not except it
Funnily enough, people in custom games can spawn dozens and dozens with mods XD
Custom games are hosted by you.@@Skillfulstone
@@pocketdust2450 Shouldn't _actual_ servers of BHVR be able to handle _way_ more than a custom server?
@@Skillfulstone They should be, but they don't allocate enough resources to each server.

No, a custom server as the name implies can be customized to fit your needs

@KaiserDaGaemer hell yeah I hope you do
a hot take: It isnt badly designed or unfun. you just see it too many times and think that.
For example back in the day when there were fewer killers and billy was pre nerf, anywhere i went i heard how boring it is to go againts a billy and all it took for people to appriciate him was to decrease the pickrate
this goes for surv perks as well
Can we normalize allowing people to do hot takes without being hated?
It would be really fucking funny.
loved having this on in the background, would be awesome to have more long-form videos like this one from you brother
1 hour video ? We eating good today ! ❤

The core of the issue is that Legion has no stand out traits that directly capitalize on slowing down. The Legion isn't a set-up killer or a build-up killer, so the power is based on providing something that the power doesn't directly benefit from, with only the fifth hit being particularly useful.
Hot take: this game needs more top hats
Yo, I know you are critical on yourself over the Otz video, but hey, that was my first introduction to you and I loved your style! So don’t go too hard on yourself.
Playing against Legion is hands down some of the most if not the most miserable experience I’ve ever had in gaming. Beyond boring on so many levels. But god forbid if we ever say anything negative about legion on the internet you get death threats. Which I did on twitter and then for 10+ days straight was attacked on twitter and told to kms from legion mains/fans on twitter it was absurd, just because I said the killer is boring to go up against
So glad I found your channel!
Also consider that we also have perks to combat that (like Bamboozle) and that most of the times around that log, you do not have any other safe space especially if you push survivors to run towards the corner instead of open side of the map (sometimes with bad RNG on Pale Rose you can get strong tile next to it, but its not that it happens all the time)

Here’s what some of those could be
*survivor heirloom ideas*
Quentin : Quentin’s heirloom could be a bottle of NARCOLEPSY pills to keep him awake. His emote, being him opening the bottle and downing a pill😂.
David : We all know David’s a scrapper he’s always in the pub starting something. His could be a bottle of whiskey in his hands. His emote can be him opening the bottle and downing a swig to get him feeling numb for a fight😂
Kate : Kate is known as a renowned as a famous country singer and song writer from a small age.

Jeff should have a shirtless skin

Hot Take: Furtive Chase is a good perk and its one of my favorites
Hot ? This one is straight up delusional
Here’s a hot take for you PTB reassurance was fine and the only thing that I believe it needed was too be turned off after the final gen was completed
Minutes is misspelled good sir.
I have never spelled that word correctly in my entire life
8:54 not really. Terminus only counters adrenalin if the ping is very good but even a little bit of a bad connection and the adrenaline heal will occur before the broken effect
Sounds like a player problem. I play Legion and definitely focus on getting kills, not just sticking everyone
Well that's the tradeoff, survivors play sub-optimally to achieve victory and get to secure it from some asenine killer tactics during collapse.
ok yeah i agree i went a bit overboard with my Take on Playtime.
im someone who gets really into the Details.
Thats why i stand to my point that we need to listen to everyone so we can all have fun :D
(except of course Trolls.
DBD Hot Take:
The game will never be balanced, can never be balanced, and was never balanced. Survivor has always been the power role solely because of comms which can't be removed. The rage in DbD comes from the community and dev's obsessions with making the game a new Esport. Its not a competitive esport, its a poorly balanced mess and works best when played with friends as a fun poorly balanced mess.

I could be wrong, but I think they fixed terminus countering adrenaline. I think adrenaline comes in before terminus does and heals the survivor before terminus activates.
No its the other way around. Terminus counters addy but sometimes a ping issue will result in the heal procing before terminus
I remember that bhvr had reversed which effect applied first and I was pretty sure when terminus released it activated first. Oh boy, here we go
I thought i posted a hot take but my internet has failed me again my hot take
If a killer doesnt have an antiloop ability or a speed ability they are useless survivors just do gens and leave no matter how much pressure you have
"The game is balanced"
My hot take is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with skull merchant, theres just something wrong with how everyone chooses to play her and how content creators push that play style, she was meant to be a chase killer, she has a haste perk, her drones are anti loop and they added haste to her claw traps which they said shouldve have been added to her kit to begin with, same for her add on being added into her base kit so claw traps make vaulted pallets break. she is and always was a chase killer, not a chess player.
We have 8 parts of re we should have 8 re dlcs its only fair
“Hot takes!”
When you play as Freddy everybody should start in the dream world by default it should not be an add for you to use your power immediately…ever for any killer whatsoever.
There should be an extra gate by default for Freddy that if you open its just a brick wall with a sign that says “under construction pleas do wait I’ll be here momentarily to fix the problem.”
Then Freddy gets an alert that you opened the fake gate.
You’re going to do really well on TH-cam
I’m a twins main myself they are strong they are like oni but better at doing his job no offense to them but they lost me when they compared them to the dull merchant lol
Been subbed since around 400 subs, Happy 2.4k 🗿
a real OG right here
You know AaronDuke? That's so great. I absolutely love his content and streams 😮😁
Without Aaron I wouldnt be where I am as a content creator today
I made sure my takes were 100% wrong lmao.. besides the bloodpoints 😂😂😂
I simply think that what the dbd community needs is Empathy.
Ps: NOT THE PERK!!!!
@@KaiserDaGaemerDon't sweat it, but thank you for the apology. Happy 2k 🎉
Ruin should be returned to it's original glory.
Ruin as it is in its current form should be basekit for killer.
This was funny lmao great video!
Uhh hello? Skull merchant exists, how is she not the most boring killer to play against.
Because more skull merchants dont hold 3 gens over ones that do
I'm going to need bread 🍞
The base game mechanics should be reworked/changed.
First. Like Legit my Comment was the first Reaction :D
But for real. I would actually like to hear your Stealth Idea.
Maybe Ill do a concept on leigion rather than a how to fix someday
i would like to see it. As stated before i really like your Creativity. And i mean that. I feel many Content Creators just say the same stuff. Thats why i like your ideas :D @@KaiserDaGaemer
my hot take is that trapper is the hottest killer 😩😘😍😍😘😍😍😩😩😫😫😫
Huntress better
@@KaiserDaGaemerfair tbh
It's crazy seeing such hate boners for adrenaline. It's usually a non-factor in my killer games because most games don't make it to the end game. People who obsessively hate all exhaustion and endgame perks for Survivor, I hate to break it to you, but that's a skill issue most of the time. Yeah sometimes you'll go against an insane team on an insane map. But if adrenalinn and hope are bothering you that much, that you think they are pressing game balance issues, maybe you're just not that good at killer
I despise Nemesis and I don't want any buffs to the zombies.
Hehe he reacted to mine
Legion is fun cant my mind
Play, I agree. Fight, I disagree.
19:40 "free-to-play"??? my dude it's a paid game i spent $30 on this
FTP players in this context refers to people who do not pay anything else outside of the base game.
