That's a nice figure! I genuinely love Evolved Godzilla. I think that physical design matches the raw aggressive force he was bringing to the story in GxK.
I hope we get an energized version with similar techniques to the thermo goji with that vibrant translucent pink around the cracks and an atomic breath piece
Great video. I’m kinda on the same page with you as far as his look, didn’t do much for me at first but now I appreciate it as a piece of cool Godzilla history. It’s not a favorite design for me, but my favorites are still standing on the shelf so I’m not mad at this one for being the current one haha. I like this figure a lot. The cost might keep me away, but I think I’ll grab the Hiya just because I have liked their Monsterverse stuff from what I’ve seen. I definitely want this design in my collection somewhere, so the cost advantage might make me stick it out for Hiya. Glad you like the figure! Really does look great to pose around.

Oh man photography with this Godzilla is going to be fantastic, looks about as agile as the Final Wars sculpt but I like the design of this much better. Inevitably this will have somekind of rerelease with a beam but I already have an order placed from Amazon for early February and I can wait. Id like the review, but do you have any plans to start adding a gallery at the end of your reviews like other channels do?
I want this, but I think it's because of the one run of it. If it weren't for FOMO I don't think I would care as much. Like, I already have the HIYA one preorder and from what I've heard they've done some upgrades to it. The SHMA does look fantastic though, even if I don't care for the pink around the mouth. Maybe if it's still available in the next few weeks, I could probably swing the cash for it, but I'm still a little unsure.
I think if you buy it out of FOMO now, you'll just have buyers remorse later. Hiya's looks great. I'd say that a supercharged/heat ray version of this sculpt is inevitable, and that would probably be a much more compelling purchase.
