Hey people! Sorry about a few things here: - I don't know why I was remembering the Boiled Prawn as a crafting item, so I didn't even think about that. It being a starter gift makes ER #1 with DeS - There's also the Blossom in DS3 that can be found in the High Wall before Vordt -- and also the Estus Soup in the Undead Settlement - DS2 healing wares gift also gives you Poison Moss!!! Ugh x) Taking these into account, the "results screen" would look something like this: 1) DeS, Elden Ring and DS2 2) Sekiro 3) Most certainly DS3 (took me around 5ish mins to get to the Claymore, safe to believe you can get to the Blossom in another minute) 4) DS1 5) Bloodborne
I don't think it would change the order, but in DS1 I reckon you could snipe one of the Blow Dart guys in Blighttown faster than you can get up to Deep root. Probably Sorceror start and Soul Arrow the one above the Fire Keeper soul?
@@dachimshvidobadze2286if we’re actually counting sleeping then yeah. But if we’re just counting the bed itself- off the top of my head, there’s Fia’s in round table for Elden Ring, Gwynevere’s bedchamber in Anor Londo for Ds1 and 3, the Sculptor’s cot in Sekiro, and the gurney you wake up in in Bloodborne. There miiiiiight be a bed in the mansion in Majula for Ds2, but I genuinely don’t know about DeS
I know Mino, a speedrunner, had a speed run in DS1 like that. TH-cam usually eats links but the video is called "Dark Souls' Sleepiest Speedrun" if you wanna find it.
You're putting too much faith into me, that ain't happening Jokes aside, I actually wanna do a run like this where I go to the cleansing NPC, like Turtle Pope, lol
3:11 - swordsman is one of only two classes that have the stats to use the rapier without leveling up (and the rapier is easily the best early game weapon) - swordsman starts with +1 weapons which means you can upgrade them to a +6 just going to mcduff (because of the 5 titanite pickup) - swordsman has better magic stats than most melee classes so if you want to infuse a weapon later in the run (which you want to do because the damage is insane) you can do that for a lot less souls
Very good points all around actually! When it comes to melee I'd mostly just go with the Knight but I can see why swordsman would be tempting otherwise. Thank you for the detailed explanation, I genuinely appreciate it
You're right! I should've double checked myself -- Idk why I was remembering that to be a crafting item, not a consumable, but yes I should've went for that. It'd also do some slight changes to the overall list
By the way, the character creation menu (at least in Dark Souls II) counts towards the in-game timer. Also, there’s a green blossom to the left of the first ladder you climb in Forest of Fallen Giants (the ladder that leads to the area with all the hollow infantry who are playing dead). This of course would be ignoring the healing wears as you pointed out.
Didn't know about the timer still going on during the menu in DS2 although it makes sense considering the circumstances. Didn't know about the other Green Blossom either, I missed it the entire time huh. Thanks for the info regarding it x)
Hollow Knight and prolly Nioh2 are the games I really wanna get into, just didn't have enough time for them YET, but oh its cominng! Thanks for the recommendation still!!
@@fermyonds for a sandwich place that delivers, they do pretty good! Their deliveries are usually just a matter of a few moments from making an order, so people often joke that they are faster than first responders to emergencies.
in dark souls 1 you could trade a cracked red eye orb with the crow for a purging stone, which eat in dark souls 1 for some reason :P im not sure if it would actually be faster than the moss speedrun but it is definitely funnier!
You're right -- although I wasn't sure if that'd be faster originally -- could also just get the Purging Stone from the crow since that gets eaten too, lol
Nice Video, seems like you are not counting starting gifts, the boiled prawn a starting gift on elden ring so like demon's souls you can start you run eating right away, I think healing wares on DS2 also got poison moss, I don't really remember. Crash Bandicoot and Spyro are great platformers that are just available on modern platforms, but of course you played them already right?
You're actually right about both of those things.. With ER I believed, for some reason, that the prawn is a crafting item, so I didn't even double check it to make sure I remembered it right. Thats my bad. As for the Poison Moss, yeah I forgot about that completely. Oops. That said, I never played Crash but I did play Spyro back in the old days! Lots of great memories, ugh now I wanna replay it again x)
@@fermyonds the boiled prawn (and also the crab) are great food items that boost your physical defense, specially in PVP where everyone hits like a cargo train I don't go outside without 50 of these stacked in my pocket. The spyro trilogy is great, I've played the remakes last year and the game still holds up, same with crash, the Dark Souls of platformers as ign says lol
Man I have that game for years but never had the time to really get into it. I guess I'll have to do it sometime this year, hopefully until Silksong comes out (no new info or confirmation but at this point I'm just hoping for anything, lol)
That's what I should've done. I remembered them as a crafting item hence why I dismissed them in my head when making this. I should've double checked, because yeah, that entirely changes the list
Hello! Nice to see you again x) As for the Amber Herbs, I think you need the Fragrant Branch to access them, right? I might be misremembering their location if that's not the case, I'll have to check it out later
Sorry, I didn't see the pin part, and currently I have a comment of my own pinned since, admittedly, I made some mistakes when it comes to forgetting about a few early items/starting gifts. That said I'll keep in mind to pin you some other time, if that's fine

The werewolves in Central Yharnam have a chance to drop beast blood pellets.
was expecting you to eat the estus soup in the undead settlement
OH MY GOD I FORGOT ABOUT THAT -- I was tunnel visioned into items but yes!!! The soup is right there... omg my bad
fastest souls game to find a bed and sleep in
Hmm that's actually a good one! I never looked out for beds but now I'll have to look through the games and see where they are. Thank you!

4:57 I'd recommend Celeste and Hollow Knight. Also, great video.
I've decided to give both of them a go sometime soon! Thank you for your recommendation and nice words. Also love the Cuphead avatar :)

first soulsborne character to cosplay guts? (greatsword and any triple fire crossbow)
Yes sir! That's the next one I am working on for this style of video x) sorry its taking a while!
sekiro: can i come in and play with yall. other souls games: GTFO
which soulsborne protagonist can get poisoned first
which soulsborne protagonist can reach the poison swamp first
Ooo poison swamps, iconic -- I'll be keeping this in mind, thank you for the suggestion, I like it!

For some reason when Sekiro was lumped in as an extra game, I actually expected AC6 instead
Ohhh don't worry AC6 will be joining the ranks soon enough. I have something I wanna do with that too :)
Yummy meal worm
Edit: or Ayre's ass idk.
For elden ring you could just choose the boiled prawn at the start and near instantly do it
