Invaluable info here. Very wise, pointing out the importance of wrist stabilization. Also, I've noticed a HUGE difference by trying to make sure to clinch into a VERY tight fist just before and upon impact.
I started out boxing , and hurt my wrist and hands in street fights , I then started karate I realized I wasnt going too compete in boxing and have been going without wraps or gloves since , 26 years since I hurt my hands or wrist training or in a fight , I still train , sometimes at the gym we are required too wear gloves , but other than that , I dont use , I also changed my fist alignment , makes a huge difference for me !!!! great vid thank u
I used a yoga Matt over concrete floor and in just 4 weeks noticed increase in endurance and my soft hands became meatier and more durable .... also just started using a basin of sand to build hand strength and conditioning ..... good fun noting too serious
I personally find a little bit of a lotion to be good before training bareknuckle on the heavybag. Takes longer to cut. Scar tissue on the skin not very desirable when it makes skin more likely to cut when you throw again. Only use a small amount because you dont want lotion on the bag itself
Rags. After much use, the upper part has become somewhat softer, as the rags have been gradually compressed towards the lower part, which is very hard, almost solid. At some point I have to refill the upper part. Overall the bag weights around 60 kg, so it's fairly heavy for its size.
@@STORMCombatSystem I have a ringside 100lb bag. Very hard. Supposedly they fill it in such a way that the materials don’t settle. I’m happy with it so far.
@@gladius2489 Yes, the good ones are like yours. I bought mine some 10 years ago from a guy who was making them himself. On the bright side, it's very durable. But the softer upper part annoys me too. It came cheap but not as good as the pro made bags. I am about to buy a second one and this time I will pay for the quality I need.
@@gladius2489 The thing is, I had to pay for a lot of stuff to kick start my school and I couldn't afford to buy everything at top quality. It's a small place anyway.
I do bare knuckle heavy bag training twice a week and I hit the wall once a week. Push ups etc depend on the phase of my training, sometimes I do them, sometimes not.
Azwrestler. From my experience. If you over do it at the beginning - yes. if you're smart about it - no. The secret is to start off slowly and carefully with whatever you're doing. Listen to your body. Build-up press-ups or kettle bells slowly and methodically, relating to for your ability.
No need to go through pain when you can build your training up gradually ( This way you can do it daily and you will get to your goal much quicker since you have less rest and wont stress your body that much ). Conditioning is letting the body adapt not pushing through pain which is still the dumbest thing i have ever heard regarding training.
Being whoever and whatever we want means choice. It means that people can harm, people can be unloving. People think in their head of who they’d like to be and they march forwards being exactly that. It is options. It is the decision to be the good guy or the bad guy. You live to a code that you make, and choose to act in whichever way you see fit. The means by which this is done is discipline. The price we pay for being inauthentic is war, greed, terrorism. Being who we are doesnt mean choice. Being authentic and true to yourself doesnt give you a list of options to choose from, there is only one path. And that path is already forged. What makes you you is already there, you just have to live in accordance with it. Truthfulness is loving. People who are real are genuine. Authenticity in people guarentees a peaceful loving world, away from conflict and war and suffering, but the price we pay is that we dont have a say in it. We dont have a say in who we are.

This very much reminds me of the traditional Okinawa karate tools used to strengthen the body

Hello! How is it correct to punch: landing with index and middle finger? Or landing with middle, ring and pinky?

R34L157 does it worj
@Flying Tiger i can confirm it works i punch walls at about 7p0% dont even get hurt lmao been trainin it for only 6 months
That looks like a pretty soft bag. What’s it filled with, water?

How often do you condition your fist?

Can you hurt your wrists doing this?
To which exercise are you referring?

Did your wrist grow by time ?
Good question. Yes, a little bit. Sorry for the delay, I just saw your comment.
