I just got back to skating after almost 15 year break (im 34). It's unreal to me how you can search tutorials on TH-cam for literally ANY trick out there - a different world from when i started! This channel has been a HUGE inspiration and saved me a TON of time - and abuse on my older body - in relearning/ figuring these tricks out. Tom, you're a great teacher and an absolute monster skater!!!
i watched it out of curiosity and i do them the exact same way. i was literally giving the same advices to my friend the other day.... for some tricks there really is that best way everyone comes to at some point i guess lol
I learned watching Chico do them. best nollie heels. although it does look like he's leaning more on his back foot when he does them. great tutorials as always. cheers from France
Can you do pressure flips? Learn pressure flips first if you don’t know them yet. You’ll learn impossibles immediately after once you figure out pressures
I have to wait a little longer before I can pop regular tricks due to my knee, but I'm officially getting my stem cell therapy and will be fully back soon!
Nollie BS Heel please! I've been working on them but can't get the foot I pop the nose with back on the board to ride away. Can't figure it out even though I've got Nollie heels, Nollie BS 180, and even Nollie BS flips down.
This trick has been pissing me off for about 2 years now. I'll get them and hour later they disappear. Some days they flip nice some days they don't flip enough. Just can't dial them in, i'll take what I learned here to the streets.
what can i do if my board lands behind my front foot? so my back foot is on it but it lands like an inch behind my front foot. but through that tutorial i learned the flick finally 🙏🏼
It may help to try to push forward as you're popping down with your front foot so your board also goes forward with you. Also, more pop is always helpful as we sometimes focus too much on the flick, so if you're not popping super hard try popping harder. Put more weight down on your front before you pop to do so. Hope that helps!
I have the flick down for these but I can never seem to get my front/pop foot back on the board. My back foot lands back on the board but on the front bolts. Idk if it’s a commitment issue or i’m not getting enough pop but if you have any tips for getting both feet on the board i’d appreciate it.
You can always try adjusting the position of your front foot slightly to help avoid that, but I would also try pushing your nose forward as you pop, and watch the way your back foot is flicking as that can also affect it.
I’m sorry I didn’t word that better, thank you for pointing it out. What I meant was that once you snap your nose, *then* flick back fast. Sometimes it’s easy to be so focused on the flick rather than the pop, and doing so can cause you to miss the pop.

Tom Rips! Great tutorials, right to the point and helpful. Love the board, too! 😁
Nice vid & Brett is the goat
Great stuff as always!
Your videos are awesome bro 🔥
🙏 thank you!
That was a great video. I appreciate the details of every part of the trick. I always either do a perfect Millie heel or get sacked. 5050 chance.
Thank you! Lol the sack factor on this trick is no joke. 💀 Hope it doesn’t happen to you anymore after this.
Thank you!!
Backside heel or inward heel pls

Sound like you could be leaning to far forward.
pls do pressure flip
I set up the same way it’s comfortable but it always seems to scoop like nollie varial heel instead of just popping normal

@@toms_tutorials nollie flips have always been easier for me idk what it is about the heelflip motion but my ankles just don’t like it
Nollie Tre flips please 🙏🏾😭🔥
I got you! Stay tuned in the coming weeks 👀
SW heels pleaseeee!!!!!
Can you big heel pls
That's one of my favorites! Once I get my stem cell (which I will be soon!) I'll get back to doing regular tricks. Thanks for bearing with me 👊
Why are you wearing bowling shoes, dude?
So I don't have to switch when I get to the alley
my board doesn't flip all the way any tips?
One mistake is to flick too soon, so remember to flick fast ... hmm confusing
