Additionally to what you see in the video: I've seen a lot of people miss the flip entirely on nollie flips (including me at the beginning). What helps is imagining flipping down, which makes the backfoot stay on the board for the flip and actually flips the board. You can even go as far as actually pushing your backfoot down instead of flicking as a beginner on nollie flips. Over time you'll learn the "correct" flip as you get more confident with nollie flips. -> Flip/push down on nollie flips!
The height of my nollie flips are always different. The majority of the time they just roll along the ground when the board flips. I think delaying the flick will probably help me a lot. Once again, great trick tip!
Sw BS 180 Ollie! I’ve always wanted to learn them all floaty like Brian Wenning. I know it’s a simple trick, but I’d love to learn them better. Maybe you can teach me hack or two lol thanks💯
@@lutfanhabibi9459 that trick specifically has always been the hardest trick for me! It's one of the few tricks I struggle with, but I am confident I could learn it.
@@toms_tutorials I did write it some days ago. So maybe yes. Thank you for your videos. I am trying to learn many of these tricks atm and they are a great help.
@@toms_tutorials Yeah thats fair. Probably too fast of a flick. I have long legs too and this i need to adjust where I am putting my foot as well. But ill try going straight back. thanks!
@@toms_tutorialsthanks Tom. I’ll start using it. I suck at Nollie flips/Heels but have Nollie Tres & Nollie Lasers down decent (think it’s cause they swing in front of you instead of having to pop it in front of you & jump backwards), using the tail works better on those tricks & I try to use the tail still on Nollie Flips & Heels. Lets see how the nose treats me lol
I'm gonna put it here so maybe someone knows the answer. Whenever I try to flick my nollie or switch flips there's always a slight, sharp pain near hip/pelvis. It's never the case on regular/fakie flips. Why?

After you get it down it's also fun to huck the board forward right before you pop style .. front foot impossible next!

Thank you dude I hope it does!
Best teacher ever!!!😊

Bro you're underrated as hell! Appreciate the help!
Thank you! So happy to help!
Whenever I Nollie flip my back foot always get stuck underneath the tail and gets shinned . what should I do?

I've always loved this trick! This would be a sick one
This trick is rough. I can’t do them full rotation. I switch ollie, rotate 90 & pivot the other 90. It looks terrible lol
I can never get a full rotation. Any tips?
Madar Apse's style in "Forget Me Not" on Thrashers site- reminds me of your skating.
That's a compliment, thank you! I love Madars 🔥
for sure @@toms_tutorials
What nollie or switch trick should I teach next?
nollie inward heel will be sick 😁

@@justhuman6608 of course! And thank you for the great suggestion. I always love hearing feedback and ideas from you guys 👊
Sick tip. I need laser flip trick tip from ya
Only time will tell! Once my knee heals up this one is on the list
So any tips for if my nollie flips keep rocketing? Foot positioning is the same. But seems like i go pogo more times then not
You're probably flicking too far to the side rather than straight back off the tail/corner pocket. Have you tried adjusting your flick?

can u do a nollie heel video
I can and I will
Great Tutorials
Thank you!
need nollie heel asap
You guys use your nose or tail when doing Nollie tricks?
Personally, using my nose for nollie tricks is a MUST. Especially if it's bigger than the tail, but some (very few) people think otherwise.

I have mild ADHD and this stuff helps me focus like nothing else. It's actually amazing.

I’m guessing your body isn’t used to the motion yet. Gotta take your time and build the strength and mobility slowly.
Weak hip flexor, I have the same issue as I have been practicing nollie flips. TH-cam some hip flexor strengthening exercises! You’re not alone
❤❤❤❤
So hard yet i'll learn
what hat is he wearing? what are those glasses at the beginning?
