Ansich ist es schon an passendes Motiv. Minimalistisch. Aber die Sache ist für mich einfach die, das sich Displate nun mit den LEs mehr ins Zeug hängen muss, um ihren Preis, gegenüber den Textras, zurechtfertigen. Und das ist mir hier einfach zu wenig.
@@L1Slayer Ich finde den Trend zu "immer mehr" nicht gut rund erfreue mich auch an einfach gehaltene Exemplare. Es bleibt trotzdem ein limitiertes Exemplar und hat ja, wie ich hörte, die experimentelle Holofolie/Farb Kombi inne. Ich kann deinen Punkt aber natürlich nachvollziehen.
@@Percilator Muss auch für mich nicht immer mehr sein. Geht mir wirklich nur darum, das Displate nicht einfach eine Textra mit Holoeffekt für das Doppelte anbieten kann. Für den Preis muss einfach mehr her.
Super Design, es ist super das Displate dieses schlicht gehalten hat und zB kein Schriftzug dabei ist. In den Kommentaren wird eine besondere Folie erwähnt, da bin ich sehr gespannt drauf.

Perci, it seems like you missed Metal Mister's video in discord about this. The red is actually a holo film with red printed over it. Something experimental that has not been done before. MM posted a video in #video-share. Knowing this, you can actually see it a bit in the livestream video at 1:45 and that is what makes this more than just a textra.
@@njitram2000 I'm Team Alien, in case you were under the impression that I was pulling it into the negative light regarding the textras.
I took the video from the video share, but I lacked the knowledge of the holo foil and was only referring to the official data. It's a shame that even the product page doesn't mention it.
Supposedly the Star Wars Displate was supposed to have holo effects, but it doesn't.
Thanks for the info though, I was wondering why it shimmers like that when according to the description it only has the metallic finish. That explains everything. has
@@Percilator Oh no, it wasn't about being negative. More that people's instant conclusion of seeing this one will be "why is this an LE?" so the holo foil is pretty significant. Unfortunate that even Caff and Plant did not know about it for the livestream.
I think the Star Wars one was a typo since I don't see any way that it could have been added. Unless the background originally looked very different to accommodate the holo.

Absolut und durch die rote Holofolie ein echter Hingucker!
Die Silberbeschichrung ist dad einzige besondere an dem Displate...
Ansonsten wirkt es eher wie ein Textra.
Also für so wenig Effekte zahl ich keine 139€.
Da bin ich ganz deiner Meinung! Zu wenig für den Preis.
@@tabasscojoe Eine Limited Edition nur auf seine Effekte zu reduzieren würde der Sache meines Erachtens nicht gerecht.
Eine Anmerkung noch: Textras erreichten nicht die Drucktiefe einer Limited Edition.

@@Percilator das Motiv ist schon ok, aber mit der Silberbeschichtung als einzigen Unterschied zu Textra hätte es dieses Displate auch als Textra getan.
Hat meiner Meinung, in der vorliegenden Machart, keinen Mehrwert gegenüber Textra.
Bevor es Textra gab, sähe es anders aus, aber da wir nun Texra haben...
Als Limited ist mir die Inzensierung einfach zu langweilig.
@@tabasscojoe Sehe ich leider genauso. Displate muss sich für die LEs jetzt schon etwas mehr Mühe geben.
Das Motiv, ohne den Hintergrundeffekt hätte es als Textra auch getan.
