I like the way he's expressed himself. Imagine taking blame and suffering for something you didn't do. Very sad and unfortunate. The government needs to compensate this gentlemen...
My advice to everyone out there. If you happen to get a message that you visit a police station for there is a small issue you are needed to assist in, DO NOT GO ALONE, i repeat, DO NOT PRESENT YOURSELF IN THAT STATION ALONE ! Usually they make a very friendly request. Ukiona 'nani' mwambie nataka kumuona kidogo. The moment you step in that place, you will never be free again. Always send somebody to enquire on your behalf, either you send your parents, or pastor or a lawyer.
Some of police stations during Moi era were very rotten. With shoddy, poor investigations, the complainant would be easily be the accused and would be easily be locked up and fake charges would levelled against the innocent and left to rot in jail.We thank God that the Kibaki administration brought in the new constitution which has brought some beams of legal and constitutional rights in our societies and Kenya at large
This was in 1989.Bonaventure had no reason to fear going to the morgue to see whether he could identify the corpse. Once he said he knew her, he was now required to record a statement. The only problem is that the killer who was his neighbor and also had an affair with the lady, may have had powerful people in the police who helped him escape justice and frame Mr. Bonaventure for the murder he did not commit.
@@edwingichobi1657. The real murderer who was Bonaventure's neighbor at Emusire Boys High School may have had powerful people in the police force who covered for him and framed Bonaventure. How else do you explain that the man told police the lady came to his house on a Saturday when Bonaventure had traveled home for the weekend, when records at the school gate show that the lady came two days earlier and booked that she was going to Felix kubai's house? Or why the police did not see it fit to get the parent in the red car to clarify whether he had given a lift to the lady on his way out or not?

So sad for him. The man has very very good memory indeed until he reminds you severally in the beginning ilikuwa "Thursday". pole sana Bonaventure your story is encouraging and other part very painful especially if it is true that you never killed or got involved in the death of that girl. may God reward you for your hard work
The lawyer who represented him during the appeal was a useless lawyer as were the 2 lazy Appeal court Judges,Gicheru, and Kwach ,who failed to give their individual rulings forcing Judge Tunoi to fall into their trap of denying this man the justice he deserved. The CID officers who investigated the case were probably under pressure from their seniors to exonerate Felix Kubai and frame Bonaventure Mukhwana Mutali for the murder he did not commit.
14:48 What i wondered though this teacher did not have classes to teach on Monday and Tuesday so he waited for the school fees balance that he returned back to school on Wednesday na mtoto wa ndugu yake "Benard"?! On whose authorisation or permission does the teacher skip school for two days because of organizing to take his brothers son to join the same school 😎🤔!
He will probably not even know about it.What I do not understand is why Justice Richard Kwach stopped him when he had started reading his judgement, if all of three had written judgements ready.
