Every team "has business beating their opponent". Colorado has flashy, fast slippery players. Too many get loose too often, they could win. If officials let Hunter get away with push-offs, they could win. I think if they could play multiple times, at this point, NU would win most of the time. 1. Coach Rhule 2. Nebraska 3. Nebraska Still can’t figure out what Neon Deon is up to at Colorado, but thinking it won’t last much longer. Bigger question is how long before the Coach Prime media bubble bursts. Considering how poorly he’s done thus far, it’s a head-scratcher that he’s still given so much attention. All hype, no substance. Pretty much a clown these days.
I'm not a huge fan of the Buffs but was initially excited about Colorado hiring him. Then he had that presser where he publicly said all or most of the current players better hit the Portal because they aren't going to get any play time. I thought that was completely disrespectful to those young kids/players to say publicly. Call those kids into your office and tell them the situation but don't blow everything up and embarrass them like that. After that I lost alot of respect for Coach Overhype.
Both models could be successful. I think Rhule’s approach more aligns with Nebraska state culture generally and for that reason alone is preferred. Also believe it will eventually be more consistent.
The problem I have with the portal is that is pushes the thought of "entitlement" and "instant success" which are not true in real life 99% of the time. Real success almost always takes significant time, and often the breakthrough happens after a length of time when one came very close to quitting. The people that are successful somehow manage to persevere through the low time, avoid quitting, and then they have a breakthrough and incredibly thankful that they (with support by loved ones who encouraged them) made it through. If the portal worked, you would see many of them staying - not flowing in one year and out the next.
@@Trusted_Advisor I agree mostly. However when you have a skill position you need filled today, and all you have are a couple green kids, chances are you can snatch a veteran out of the portal until you get those kids trained up. The key is having a staff that can retain the important ones, which we seem to have. Dual edged sword my friend.
Angie runs this family. She has 7 kids Judy. 6, sixteen and under and one big kid that will always be a big kid. Thanks Angie for all you do. Let's Gooooo GBR ☠️☠️☠️☠️
1 Rhule. and Nebraska for 2&3 I think it will be a close game, but i believe we will come out on top this year. Judging not just by Rhules coaching history, but by yesterdays game as well. Miles ahead of where we were last year, the team just looked more cohesive on both sides of the ball, working as a unit and making big plays. We had 1 turnover in comparison to 4 last year in the season opener against Minnesota. Makes me think ball security likely wont be too much of an issue going forward. And the defense crushed it yesterday as well. 2 INTs, a safety, sacks and tfls all over the place. Looked like the makings of a (dare i say) Blackshirt Defense. Drink the Rhule-Aid, dont drink the Rhule-Aid? I dont know, but I have a feeling our team is in great hands and I expect them to do great things this season. THROW THE BONES AND GBR!
Definitely want Rhule as our coach! Hard work, grit, humble, caring, has integrity. Those who work hard and humbly want to learn from others are set up for success. I think Nebraska will win this one.
Rewatching to make sure I didn't miss anything....and I didn't. We have a ways to go but we are leaps and bounds ahead of where we were last year. In my opinion, strength and conditioning are the biggest reasons we played so well....not to mention the upgrade in skill players. The sky is the limit.
Deion was a great athlete in his playing days. As far as a head coach not so great. He’s one of the most narcissistic college football coaches I’ve ever seen. As soon as his kids are done at Colorado, Deion is done at Colorado. He’s a good marketer/salesman and the Colorado job is a quick money grab.
If Nebraska doesn’t win this game, none of the other games matter. If your gonna let Prime lift his leg and pee on yall again, you don’t deserve a playoff spot. Regardless of how many more you win. Way I see it, if Nebraska loses, Rhule is immediately on the hot seat
UTEP is building with their head coaches first year at the head of the program had 46 3⭐️ with 28 of them being transfers. They aren’t good but they are not the same 3-9 team from last year.
Also since we talking stats lemme tell you something. Before deion got there, CU was losing by an average of 30 points a game for years. Before deion got there that team was 1-11. His first year went 4-8 but again almost every game but one , they lost by less then 1 score game. With the O and D line we had. Thats saying something. They were in EVERY GAME but Oregon and shouldve won. Not to mention again, they BLEW OUT Nebraska. So Deion came in and cleaned house. THose players who was there didnt wanna work and they were just getting by and LOSING. Deion changed all of that. Deion is building a program but he wants to win now. Recently they have added high school and future players but its about winning NOW, NOt in 5-7 yearss. However remember he took over a completely LOSING PROGRAM. What coach do you know has taken over a program that was losing by 30 points a game, 1-11 when you took over and they went straight to the Natty? What coach on earth has done that with a college team??? Let prime do what he does and build what he's building. YOu leave out a lot of key factors. Deion does not care about the NFL and he loves it in boulder. Also lets not forget, Deion is the best DB to every play in the NFL. His program is littered with actual NFL players and staff now.! They will win it all this year
You’re funny…unless you’re being facetious, as CU was not losing by 30 points a game for years. Pretty sure it was one year. They didn’t lose every game besides Oregon by less than one score last year. Washington State beat the Buffs worse than Oregon did and UCLA beat them by 12. No coach has taken a double digit loss team “straight to the Natty” and likely never will however, 2010 Miami Ohio took their 1-11 squad to 10-4, the single largest one year turnaround in history. Scott frost took a winless UCF team to an undefeated team in 2 years. So if Prime does that this year, you can almost brag then. Besides those pesky facts, I’d say your rant sounded almost amazing. Go Buffs!
This is no disrespect to the Nebraska football program but why would a highly recruited QB like Raiola sign with a team that is known for running first pass second? No shade just asking, will the Nebraska coach adjust accordingly or stay with the long Nebraska tradition of run first. Will Coach Rhules do a 50/50 or even maybe 55 run 45 pass adjustment?
Bison are what we have in north america. Buffalo are what people often call water buffalo. They are prevalent in Asia and Africa. Ranchers raise buffalo in lieu of cattle in most areas there. When you go to the store, the "beef-like" meat is labeled as buffalo. Here in the US, we eat beef and barley soup. In Asia, etc., they eat buffalo and barley soup. Tastes the same.
I will be drinking, in celebration next Saturday, the "Aid "with you! Mark my words! GBR!!!! A couple years back I also became a NDSU fan, after only being a Husker fan my whole 62 years of life.
OK. I'd take a Rhule type coach over a Deon type coach. I think we win Saturday by time of possession. Long methodical drives with touchdowns at the end. Ball security is key. If we lose the turnover battle, we might lose the game. I'm drinking the Rhule-ade win or lose Saturday. We've already seen what he did with temple and Baylor, and I can see the same blueprint being used at Nebraska. Day by Day, We get better and better, Til we can't be beat. WON'T BE BEAT!
Matt Rhule is a more genuine and long-term coach who truly cares, not only about his players, but about the university as a whole. He supports all athletics at UNL. With all the hype in Nebraska’s corner, they’ll not only win this game, they’ll gain confidence and go on to win more games than Colorado. I’ll still wait to drink the kool aid. GBR.
This Saturday will be exciting. GBR. Since Prime hates red and it's a night game I hope they can do the redout between 3rd and 4th Qt. He'll really hate red then lol. If they beat CO, I'm in on the Rhule-aid. MR NEBRASKA HUSKERS
Matt Rhule for coach because I prefer stamina vs. flash and finesse. I think the Huskers win more games because I just don't think Colorado can come back too often late in a game. Nebraska over Colorado at home, though it could be a tough one if they don't control Shedur (sp).
Rhule as coach all day long. Nebraska wins more for the season and one of those Ws is this weekend against Colorado, although it's going to be hard fought. GBR!
I have gotten my hopes up with every coach since Osborne retired so I will hole off hope and judgement for a while. To ma, we won't be able to tell anything until they play Ohio State. While I don't expect them to win, it will be a good test to see what they are really made of. On thing that concerns me is the offensive line. Announcers talked repeatedly about how much bigger the were than UTEP defensive line but they didn't dominate. As has been mentioned, the kicking game is a mess. Some short kick-offs and went for it a couple of times in fourth down, which I assume is due to lack of confidence in the kicker.
Colorado has to travel to Lincoln. But they also get extra days to prepare between games. So the home-field advantage for me is all but erased. I feel like I have no idea how this game will go, which is rare for me to feel so clueless going in
I honestly see our defensive front giving sanders alot of problems. I also see nebaska completely controlling this game by keeping the ball on the ground and controlling the clock. Memorial stadium is going to be rocking! Sanders and his offense are going to have a hard time communicating!! GBR! ☠️💪💪🏈
You tell me one decent sized successful business, whether its nfl, mlb, dps construction or any other business that has 50%+ turnover year to year. Rhule is a much better developer than any other nebraska coaches going back to Osborn and Frank. That is what you have to do that is what all the successful teams do.
The animals we have here in America are bison. "Buffalo" is a colloquial misnomer that everyone here in North America uses anyway. Actual buffalo species are native to Africa and Asia.
Our defense will run through colorado o line only good online is their 5 star freshman seaton who leaving after this yr so maybe if we do good we can tip his favor to us idk lol
We get to eat prime rib this next Saturday. This next game for us Huskers is this seasons game for me. We win and everything else will just be gravy on my tators. 1 - I was on the prime coach bandwagon before they hired Rhule. Now I wouldn't have it any other way. They can have him. 2 - Huskers will definitely win more games this year too. We have the tools I believe this year to do that. Colo has issues still. 3 - Huskers will also win this next Saturday. No doubt, gotta keep the faith brotha. 😉👍
I’ll admit HUSKERS look darn good! But, they weren’t really tested for week 1. The game will be decided by which QB is more poised and able to move the ball.
I think UTEP is better than people think, but it was the perfect game to start a True Freshman. I think if we control the clock, and win the turnover battle, we win.

Allrespect to Ruhle. I think he is a good man and wish him well at NU. Having said that if I had a college age football player right now I would want him in Colorado. The only thing you have to be willing to go through the rigors of Prime’s program. Many left because it felt like too much pressure for them. Prime has stated they will push you until you tell them you no longer want to be pushed. He has all the pros visiting on a regular basis. They speak with his players and give them the realities of football. I expect them to be a much better team this year. They have developed arguably the top two draft picks for next year. I think the buffs are improved at every position. This weeks game at Nebraska is the first real test. The last game could have been 20 points more easy.
False about the online it’s not all brand new. Center started 2 games last year. Tyler brown was there but had to sit out for being second time transfer.
Nebraska has to beat Colorado. If they do that, they have a chance to go undefeated into the Ohio State game. If they lose to Colorado, then it's a toss-up as to whether they will have a great season.
Honestly all I want is Riola to trust his instincts and not hesitate his throws which he showed right before the half. If your head is telling you to throw, throw the ball it will work out! Beat Colorado 47-13 GBR!!

Still can’t figure out what Neon Deon is up to at Colorado, but thinking it won’t last much longer.
Agree 💯
Win or lose next weekend, I'll take our culture over what they're doing in Boulder any day.
You have no culture.. your problem is a laughing stock lol
What culture is that?? Losing to the same shit Colorado?? U must be a pig since u like playing up in shit loll
Tell Angie she did a great job on your backdrop. You're a lucky man Mr. Adam. 😂
Angie runs this family. She has 7 kids Judy. 6, sixteen and under and one big kid that will always be a big kid. Thanks Angie for all you do. Let's Gooooo GBR ☠️☠️☠️☠️
1 Rhule. and Nebraska for 2&3
I think it will be a close game, but i believe we will come out on top this year.
Matt, Nebraska, Nebraska
Can't wait for Saturday night
Excellent video!! Great content and stats!!
Answers:
1. Coach Rhule 110%!!!
2. Nebraska!!!
3. Nebraska!!!
Throw the bones!!! ☠️☠️☠️
I love the passion of Huskers fans. Colorado will be ready. Get your high blood pressure meds ready. It will be good one. We Comin'
It’s gonna be a fun game for sure
If Nebraska doesn’t win this game, none of the other games matter. If your gonna let Prime lift his leg and pee on yall again, you don’t deserve a playoff spot. Regardless of how many more you win. Way I see it, if Nebraska loses, Rhule is immediately on the hot seat
Yer Tee-Shirt game is ON POINT, Brother! GBR!!!
UTEP is building with their head coaches first year at the head of the program had 46 3⭐️ with 28 of them being transfers. They aren’t good but they are not the same 3-9 team from last year.
I would want Coach Rule, Nebraska wins by 2 tds. Love our Qb. Very excited about this season. GBR
Go Buffs!
Its working out pretty well because you guys aren't discounting them.
DS was a GOAT player, but he's morphed into a Flash Harry coach. I've never liked a Flash Harry.
Weather at kickoff should be about 73F, mostly sunny, 40%RH, at least that's the current forecast. Clear all night, low 53F, party time!
Day by Day,
We get better and better,
Til we can't be beat.
WON'T BE BEAT!
I like the coach we have right now i feel the same i feel he really cares about our team and players and i feel we will beat Colorado
GBR.
How many players have Coach Matt brought to Nebraska in the last two years? Just asking
The first 8 mins of this video has enough numbers in it to make my head spin. And I’m an accountant. 😂
went to the utep game and raiola looked nice. expecting at least 30 points out of this offense in the game.
This Saturday will be exciting. GBR. Since Prime hates red and it's a night game I hope they can do the redout between 3rd and 4th Qt. He'll really hate red then lol. If they beat CO, I'm in on the Rhule-aid.
MR
NEBRASKA
HUSKERS
Nebraska and Matt
Rhule, Nebraska, Nebraska. Dion's approach should be described as cutthroat.
55-7 Huskers. Raiola 6Tds, 550yds. Defense 15 sacks. Buffs 25 yards rushing. It better be Red Kool-aid!
Colorado has to travel to Lincoln. But they also get extra days to prepare between games. So the home-field advantage for me is all but erased. I feel like I have no idea how this game will go, which is rare for me to feel so clueless going in
The home field advantage is the crowd not the travel
I’m feeling very confident in Nebraska beating CU this week. They looked bad against NDSU.
🧐
We get to eat prime rib this next Saturday. This next game for us Huskers is this seasons game for me. We win and everything else will just be gravy on my tators.
1 - I was on the prime coach bandwagon before they hired Rhule. Now I wouldn't have it any other way. They can have him.
2 - Huskers will definitely win more games this year too. We have the tools I believe this year to do that. Colo has issues still.
3 - Huskers will also win this next Saturday. No doubt, gotta keep the faith brotha. 😉👍
Hour glass…anybody else? I was distracted the first 4 minutes of the video.
ND ST. Is this badass as they come for their size.
Sanders has a dig for Nebraska because they didn't ask him to come to Nebraska.
Matt Rule anytime of the day
Nebraska wins by 2 TD at least. A sweet revenge form last year’s loss.
Kool Aid pitcher bro..Its a pitcher lol
The safety stat isn’t true. Ross Dzuris got a defensive safety against Northwestern in 2015
Easy my friend. Matt Rhule, Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska Nebraska and Nebraska. Next question. Thanks Adam!!!! Let's Goooooo!!!! Legacy matters..GBR ☠️☠️☠️☠️
☠️☠️☠️
1 rushing attempt for a starting qb is the biggest stat I noticed.
That was just a sack not even a rushing attempt
@@HuskerPower97 exactly - he didn't even need to escape the pocket to avoid a sack - the one sack that happened was an awkward moment that RHule said happened because of a miscommunication.
1) Rhule, 2) Nebraska, 3) Nebraska
Good show, mate. Too many disclaimers on your takes, though. Who cares if you offend Sanders or CU fan? We're here because we want your unvarnished takes...
Go Big Red!
Rhule is my coach of choice. No question. No comment on the other.
Rhule, Nebraska
False about the online it’s not all brand new. Center started 2 games last year. Tyler brown was there but had to sit out for being second time transfer.
Nebraska has to beat Colorado. If they do that, they have a chance to go undefeated into the Ohio State game. If they lose to Colorado, then it's a toss-up as to whether they will have a great season.
This will probably Deon's last year. He'll leave Colorado to become Shadeur's agent.
To me retention tells it all on culture. Seems to me players don’t like it in Colorado.
Rhule, Nebraska, Nebraska
This is going to be good. #skobuffs
Jacory will take one home to the house and the stadium will rock like you never heard before.
I'd say a more polar opposite of Prime in terms of culture and approach to team building would Dabo Swinney
Honestly all I want is Riola to trust his instincts and not hesitate his throws which he showed right before the half. If your head is telling you to throw, throw the ball it will work out! Beat Colorado 47-13 GBR!!
Little Red is now the farm team for Ducks
Rhule as a coach, Nebraska will win more games this year.
Husker fan, and I hope Deion stays after Shedeur and Travis leave for the NFL
Dude, you talked about Sanders being the Huskers head coach. Get real and don’t focus on clicks.
