It absolutely sucks since those flipbooks take like 50 hours to make and people steal them in under a minute, reposting them for some cheap Internet points, stealing away potential commissions that I could have gotten if people knew it was me who made them 🙃 The worst part is that I did watermark the second one I made, but the gif that got shared around of it was such low quality that my watermark was just an unreadable blurr. So yeah, fuck people who steal and repost art without credit and/or try to pass it off as their own.

When I was in the Army I was pretty badass. To my mind, I could fight around 5-6 regular guys and barely get scuffed up. 3 mexican boys in an El'paso bar determined: That was a lie. I got the fucking SHIT kicked out of me, it wasn't even close. I got 1 good punch in but after that it didn't even seem like I was fighting people, it just seemed like fist were flying out from a crowd. I got 2 teeth kicked out, fractured ribs and some serious bruising to my face, neck and chest. Do bare in mind I did not go into that bar alone and my guys rushed to me as soon as they saw the fighting. that fight was over FAST. You can get your ass KICKED so hard in 10-15 seconds. Do not try to fight multiple people if you can avoid it. Unless you're fighting a group of kids its an awful idea.

Flipping furniture probably makes people a LOT of money. Vintage furniture by certain companies or individuals can go for tens of thousands of dollars easily (my grandfather owned a bunch of furniture with individual couches that cost over $70,000 but they were destroyed when their storage shed collapsed). If you're scammy like this dude, you can probably convince people who don't know any better that they are getting a good deal and make easy money It's a shitty thing to do, but I'm sure it happens a lot. My recommendation to those looking for leather furniture, clothes, etc, is to buy something that you know for certain is authentic leather (no matter what it is or how cheap it is), and give it a good ol' sniff. You can use it as a base for testing whether or not other things are leather. Leather has a very particular smell and most of them share that same smell or a very similar one and the scent can't be properly replicated, so you should be able to tell whether or not something is real leather without being some sort of appraiser.

The steam account one happened to me actually. It was about 4 years ago where I was quite stupid and well i fell for this exact thing and got my account stolen. Luckily I had a decent amount of friends who reported that my account had been stolen so about 2-3 days later I got it back. Just don’t fall for these idiots like I did. Sadly one of steam friends I used to play with had fallen for this first. The way they do it is find a victim and take their account then they find another victim in his friends list and do the same thing. Unfortunately the one friend they tried to scam in my list was Swedish so he didn’t understand anything and once he said that he knew the real owner of my account he got blocked. So report every account that do this stuff.
That last one. Lol. Yes, take out a loan that you pay back with interest. It’s not as easy as that, especially when you have other financial responsibilities and depending where you live.

I have a story that would fit for this subreddit but is actually the truth! An old classmate of mine told us after he returned from week of absence, which is not unusual for him, that he and his friend burned down by accident the house of the friend while the friends father was asleep in it. From what I remember they were in the garage with a few oil canisters and a motorbike. They were playing with fire and somehow the motorbike caught on fire and lit the oil canisters who lit the garage and the house on fire. The father was carried out by paramedics that were called by panicked neighbors and the friend ran in to save his PS4. He got out with it when the police arrived. The father was sent to the hospital while the police interviewed my classmates and his friend. They didn't believe their story and thought they had lit the house on fire, no idea why. We were skeptical if the story was true and weren't sure if we could believe him. A week later our favorite teacher told us that another told him the story of a burned down house in an village near where he lived. The villages name was the exact same one as the one told in the story by that classmate. This story took place in 2016 in Germany. I can't remember every detail anymore and only know what I have written down here. If I remember something else I will return and include it. TL;DR: A classmate told a story about how he burned down a house with his friend and was later confirmed to be true

Flipping furniture probably makes people a LOT of money. Vintage furniture by certain companies or individuals can go for tens of thousands of dollars easily (my grandfather owned a bunch of furniture with individual couches that cost over $70,000 but they were destroyed when their storage shed collapsed). If you're scammy like this dude, you can probably convince people who don't know any better that they are getting a good deal and make easy money It's a shitty thing to do, but I'm sure it happens a lot. My recommendation to those looking for leather furniture, clothes, etc, is to buy something that you know for certain is authentic leather (no matter what it is or how cheap it is), and give it a good ol' sniff. You can use it as a base for testing whether or not other things are leather. Leather has a very particular smell and most of them share that same smell or a very similar one and the scent can't be properly replicated, so you should be able to tell whether or not something is real leather without being some sort of appraiser.

The steam account one happened to me actually.
It was about 4 years ago where I was quite stupid and well i fell for this exact thing and got my account stolen. Luckily I had a decent amount of friends who reported that my account had been stolen so about 2-3 days later I got it back.
Just don’t fall for these idiots like I did. Sadly one of steam friends I used to play with had fallen for this first.
The way they do it is find a victim and take their account then they find another victim in his friends list and do the same thing.
Unfortunately the one friend they tried to scam in my list was Swedish so he didn’t understand anything and once he said that he knew the real owner of my account he got blocked. So report every account that do this stuff.
That last one. Lol. Yes, take out a loan that you pay back with interest. It’s not as easy as that, especially when you have other financial responsibilities and depending where you live.
I get the feeling that if we got all the Emkay narrators in an RPG game it would be fun to watch, the way they talk about each other on occasion makes me think they could really bounce off each other in fun ways.

14:35 Hey, that happened to me once! The scammer stole my friend's account and tried posing as them to get me to talk to an alt account that was a 'steam representative' or some BS. I did a reverse image search, learned what a politician in England looks like, and kept leading on the liar for a good seven minutes until my friend got his account back and activated Steam Security.
All the while, I was talking to my friend via Discord.
That 'scammer' was a friggin' moron. XD

Surprisingly, the scam at 14:42 actually gets some people. A few months ago I received this same message from someone I had on my steam friends list (the original guy was a groomer so kudos for the scammer), the idea is that you send them your info and all, even the authentication code, so you have to be really, really dumb to fall for it, but it happens.

I have a story that would fit for this subreddit but is actually the truth!
An old classmate of mine told us after he returned from week of absence, which is not unusual for him, that he and his friend burned down by accident the house of the friend while the friends father was asleep in it. From what I remember they were in the garage with a few oil canisters and a motorbike. They were playing with fire and somehow the motorbike caught on fire and lit the oil canisters who lit the garage and the house on fire. The father was carried out by paramedics that were called by panicked neighbors and the friend ran in to save his PS4. He got out with it when the police arrived. The father was sent to the hospital while the police interviewed my classmates and his friend. They didn't believe their story and thought they had lit the house on fire, no idea why. We were skeptical if the story was true and weren't sure if we could believe him. A week later our favorite teacher told us that another told him the story of a burned down house in an village near where he lived. The villages name was the exact same one as the one told in the story by that classmate.
This story took place in 2016 in Germany. I can't remember every detail anymore and only know what I have written down here. If I remember something else I will return and include it.
TL;DR: A classmate told a story about how he burned down a house with his friend and was later confirmed to be true
