I’m a non-farmer in the USA, but I LOVE your videos!! I wish my Mom was still with us as she loved growing flowers and she discovered TH-cam before she passed. I would have subscribed her to your channel. I wish you only the best, Sarah. ❤

    Hi Sarah
I love all your videos and the fact that you bring up regenerative gardening.
My friend Jayne has started a podcast called The Composter podcast.
She is a second generation compost farmer. And thanks for all the beautiful blooms.

Compost making is very addictive! And very time consuming with all that chopping and turning. I also bokashi and started a Johnson’s su. I love your videos, enjoy your lovely new microscope.

The thing I love about regenerative farming is how simple so many of the solutions are - like the worm casting teas you are building up to. Amazing how resilient nature can be!!

Around the 21.40 minute mark, did you mean plants with a reading above 12? Your channel is great. I've been testing the BRIX on my farm too and trying hard to improve it. Your flowers are beautiful.

I’m looking forward to your soil health videos, and what you see in the microscope - just my cup of compost tea😊

In Jenny’s Notill podcast, they talked about using molasses as a soil drench to get BRIX up. I used it to keep cucumber beetles off my amaranth & it does seem to make a difference.

recommend looking into ducks for the composting also you can make nitrogen rich fertiliser using a paddling pool for them, they’re very good for slugs etc it’ll be a big trend in the coming years 😊

I’d love to have ducks & chickens but we have pretty busy foxes around the farm so they’d have to be kept in a high security area!!

@@bloomandgray ah yes chickens tend to scratch up the soil and peck things they shouldn’t. My best friend has a regen farm in Pembrookshire parc Carreg have a look if you have time he knows a lot. They planned on doing flowers also on a very similar path so maybe worth a look 😊 peace

Hi from Norway! I'm super inspired by your flower farm, and I am currently planning on how to incorporate more flowers in my veg garden, more so for pollinators, medicine, and beauty than for selling bouquets full time on my part. But I wouldnt mind selling a bouquet here and there at markets when we sell our veg. All the best!

Hi! I’m heading in a similar direction this year too. Adding more veg to the flowers!! Looking forward to seeing a combination of both on the farm this year ❤️

Your environmental standards are so high ! I respect that but can't imagine how you cope on your own.
My first year is winding down and I am completely on my own.
I love your channel and come to it for inspiration

I'm really glad you're getting that telescope, I'm interested in those images myself. I have heard if you have really healthy plants they should do well against pests. Side note, I'd leave that weed fabric for a few months, I don't when you expect your first frost, but I'd let it go as long as possible. I did see Charles Dowding mention, as a surprise to him they recent had a light frost already.

Hi Sarah, thank you for sharing all the useful info. You're certainly right it's important to look after the soil biology and composting (more to it than I thought) looking forward to learning more so we can keep producing those fabulous plants and flowers. I'll be signing up for the online workshop, love your bouquets you make it look so easy. Best wishes

ciao Sara! forse sono le piante di eucalipto che danno fastiodio alle dahlie, so che rilasciano una sostanza che inibisce la crescita di alcune piante
