    I can’t express enough gratitude for amongst many things, informing me about these handy pants from RVRC. I wear them everyday I’m in the garden! Thank you!

      @@deiongreen3042 revolution race outdoor pants. They are so handy with so many pockets. And waterproof. She ran a discount code awhile back and I picked up a pair. At the time I was searching high and low for the right gardening pants.

    I love when you go into the nerdy soil science stuff. It is so helpful and fascinating to me. I love listening to Jenny Love. Growing flowers is a lot harder than people think! Especially the cool flowers. I really appreciate your videos and knowledge you share with us. Thank you!

    Consider Sun flowers and crimson clover as your “cover crop”

      Do you really think that sunflowers will add anything beneficial to the soil? They really are a nutrient sucker.. I'm not being critical. I'd like to know what you think they can add to the soil biology.

    Try amaranth on your disturbed bed, it will help fix the soil and grow well!!

    Hi sarah. Have you tried growing bienials or perenials via winter sowing method in jugs? Saves greenhouse space too

    Looking forward to watching Sarah. I have loads of seeds bought especially benary giant zinnias and hoping to get a tunnel this year. I'm going to put in lots of cut flower beds and I can't wait 😊 I have peat soil, I had an unbelievable bloom last year, it was like they were on steroids!

    How are your tulip bulbs going ? This is my first yr I’ve only grown veg prev really apart from straw flowers and nasturtiums which I love so have grown for several yrs, Your videos are a huge help I only plan on dedicating a section of my allotment to flowers and only want to grow enough to cut for me, my family and friends so very very scaled down I’ve got several dahlia tubers on order and I’ve got lupin, phlox in my kitchen in small pots as when they arrived they already had leaves. I hope you have a great growing season I’ll be keeping my eye on ur channel for hints and tip

    Hi, love your flower garden, How did you get your circle's cut in the landscape fabric? Nice and round and smooth. The dogs are a Hoot.

    Worth considering cover cropping with phacelia or red clover? Both grow tall enough to cut but can then be dug in. Phacelia is particularly pretty.

    • @davidt898
      @davidt898 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Alice, just be careful with Phacelia as it can become a slightly invasive weed, and very difficult to control. But beautiful flowers and works well in nectar flowering strips as the bees love it.

      @@davidt898 Thanks. I grew it in a raised bed and only got a few plants to germinate so wasn't a problem. Maybe containing it in the bed made it behave better!

    I would love to know more about the perennials that you have good luck with so far 😊
    My criteria is pollinator friendly, natives with good cutting qualities. From what I have seen of your videos so far I'm thinking that you have similar considerations? X
