Definitely keep those gems to inlay in future treasures, especially for ones that hold five gems. I played the original RE4 many times (I’m old) and it’s highly likely to be my personal favourite game of all time. Although some people don’t like so many remakes coming out at the moment, I like the fact these remakes are bringing the old games to a whole new generation of gamers. Hi Whitney, loved the first episode. The Bolt Thrower you bought isn’t very good but I’d recommend getting the rifle and scope when you have the funds, you can snipe enemies from a distance and it’s pretty much essential the further you get in the game. The rats you need to get rid of for the merchant request are back in the area you regained your gear at the start of chapter 2. It’s worth doing all the requests if you can, the spinels you get as a reward can be used to trade for some cool items. Forgot at add to cure the loss of audio at some points just go into the Audio settings and turn off controller speaker if you haven’t worked it out already. 🙂

I don't know if you fixed it in this upload yet but you have to switch off the controller speaker setting to fix the audio issue. I've seen many other PlayStation players experience this. Luckily that wasn't an issue for me because I'm on pc (keyboard and mouse).

Good luck with the rest of the playthorough as RE4 is more open and longer, but I believe you'll be able to jump in easy enough. So Resident Evil 4, I've yet to play the remake but I have played the original and absolutely enjoyed it, and after seeing footage of the remake for the first few hours it seems to be similar, the most similar out of the modern remakes, yet different enough to give a fresh experience from the original. RE4 is an iconic game, without it gaming may be just a bit different than what it is now. What I love about it is that even though it's not really a horror game and just an action game with horror elements (in the original anyway, the remake seems scarier), there's still that horror element, like the inventory system, one of the best in rhe series that requires you to sort and make the most out every space in the case, aswell as there being just BARELY enough ammo to get through the game, just the right amount of healing items, and I hope the remake keeps that philosophy all the way through like the original did, especially with the added fancy moves of knife parrying, and crouching.
Yesss finally it is here! I’ve played this game so Many times and I am shocked about how much you miss hahaha, even if you said ‘now I have cleared the whole area there were 6 lockers to be openend. A few tips for next episodes: you can inley the Ruby’s in Some treasures. In that way you can sell the Treasures for more money. And also you need to kill 3 rats in that little factory for the request you forgot it. It takes just 1 minute to do
Wait, did you clear the village opening on the first try? Or was it a new attempt (there was a cut in the video when you were still in Hunter's Lodge and you talked about action movie intro then). Because if it was your first try that's amazing! Even second or third, pretty good work
Keep any gems you find, you can slot them in other things later to increase the value. You're going to be tempted to buy all of the new weapons you see. Don't. It's a good idea to just keep your basic pistol, shotgun and sniper rifle and just keep upgrading them. When better weapons come along much later, your upgraded weapons will have more value to trade in anyway. ;)
@@whitneysvision Oh sorry no I meant in game. I noticed that you tend not to tilt the camera up and you're missing some things that are usually found above you. Though I do understand that the game is scaring you so certain things you are overlooking.
Oh, this is totally off topic of survival horror, but are we gonna get to see you play through FF16? I saw it on your home screen during the intro and I would love to see how you react to that one. It's such a good story and so emotional.
You can combine the rubies & jewels with other stuff, then sell for more cash. Pesetas (pe-se-tas) is old Spanish money before they switched to the Euro. Totally smashing it so far!

And please find all the treasures, trust me those thing will help you 3. (Optional) you can sell that bolt thrower that's not worth it. maybe you can buy the sniper that's better 4. and pleasee try to finish all the blue request note after you find that. sorry for my broken english. but this is a tips for better game next. btw i gonna subs thank you
