I love how you pop off over their good plays, helps it feel more constructive/positive instead of just bashing them, which can feel discouraging
I also think it really helps the player who is receiving the VOD review know what IS working, which is just as important as knowing what isn’t!

I had a game where the enemy sombra spent the whole game shutting down my engagments, she did do anything but wait for me, and hinder me. The most annoying game Ive ever had, I now feel the pain of facing a sombra, but still we won and she got flamed cause she had very litle stats since all she did was wait for me
lol he just said wait I typed and felt that game, she only attacked when I was death cause she knew I could stop her like she was trying, I just stopped commiting to hard flanks, and played around everyone more often
@@sebastianrojo8952 It's the best course of action sometimes. I've also had games where I'm flanking a lot but the enemy is messing up our backline too much. I switch to playing closer to my team and punish her flanks instead. It wins fights more often.

the best way to explain the sombra v sombra matchup, is winning the race vs sabotaging the person in first place. in order to sabotage the person in first place more often then not your going to be behind them. so even if you DO stop them from winning the race, they are still ahead of YOU in the race.
your stopping the sombra from carrying, but at the cost of basically doing nothing. aka, shes doing her job, just not excelling at it, at the cost of you NOT doing your job. its not worth it.

Playing reworked sombra was their first mistake, they would climb by literally playing any other dps.

I didn't really get the sombra vs sombra matchup thing... At first I thought you were saying to not go for a "punish enemy sombra" play style because you'd be very passive and not do anything to the enemy team because you're so worried about the sombra, but then you say "so it's better to interrupt the sombra from doing something than it is to handicap yourself and actively get in your own way", which confused me. It's probably just me completely misunderstanding something lol

If stopping a singular enemy from doing one singular action is a reason to actively handicap you for full minutes at a time-- it is absolutely never worth it, is the recap of it pretty much

as some one who enjoys sombra. my best strat is to bully supports who arent protected. walk behind them and watch them just melt. i may not win but bullying squishes is a past time of mine. Alot of anger pent up and making it the other teams problem is very relaxing to me.

Let me just tell you now, nobody in Silver is thinking about the first 30 seconds of a match, let alone the actual composition of the enemy team. Silvers can barely group up, let alone formulate a cogent composition on their OWN team. There is no shot in telling Silvers how to take advantage of Sombra's stealth, because even if they know they will just ignore her existence anyway. :)

Comes down to you are lacking something. Most the time in games sense and positioning is more important than “oh you can aim well” as you can have insane aim and still be an idiot in ur actions causing unnecessary deaths (main reason im low rank is because i dont ultilize advantages enough or worry too much about doing everything)
Also probably not critiquing yourself enough. If you believe you are better you arent allowing yourself to change or improve as you have the mindset “oh im being held back”. Being critical watching your replays and seeing what could be done/why you died will help you learn and rank up as you are avoiding mistakes instead of viewing it as “im held back and better than these people”
Because If you were placed and ranked bronze you probably play like a bronze player and its nothing to be ashamed of you just gotta be accountable and improve (also vod reviews show just a small glance into gameplay and a rank not the full image
Get consistent with a group and your win rate will go up. Take notes of which engagements you failed. Always play with an advantage before engaging any enemy.
The fact that you don't understand why and you think you're better than most is what made you bronze. Egotistic players tend to be bad at what they play. Smallest dog barks the loudest. Humble players are the real good ones because they know their mistakes and what to improve on, which is what made them humble in the first place. Most can tell that you are bronze or below because of what you've said. Those 2 comments above aren't as straight forward as me but you should seriously take notes from us.
@@ah111815148199147 extactly, i just didnt wanna be rude to OP but ego takes you no where but to tilting because “teams suck” if OP was simply that better he wouldnt have to worry about teams or being stuck as you improve easier games are to win. Even if its a “team diff” you are part of the team in question. Humbling self even when doing “better” is how we improve as we can see flaws.
