I have a rhodium plated chain over silver and you can't really see the wear marks since it's a white metal over a white metal. The rhodium just makes the chain look brighter compared to standard 925 silver

You might as well take a Scotchbite pad and matte finish new jewelry because it will never be perfect as when you brought it new after use. That's what is bad about jewelry. You want a nice piece, but more gold more expansive, gold plated wears, silver tarnishes, stainless steel looks better on watches than jewelry IMHO.

Ain’t nothin wrong with buying handmade gold plated from a reputable American jeweler. You’re still supporting an American jeweler, and saving money FOR a house. Gold plated jewelry defeats the purpose of gold. When you wear real gold. It's like bringing you back to why people digged the ground for, fought for, and traded in currency for for thousands of years. Gold and silver are so close that they can be melted perfectly together to make 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k gold. Silver is like family to gold, so why gold plated it? It is it's own metal too.

Here is the problem with gold plated jewelry. If you can't afford the real thing then the rest of lifestyle won't match. Those who would buy it that have that lifestyle don't care enough to try show off by buying fake... yes I consider it fake because while it may have precious metal in it, it is not what it's pretending. Another thing is whatever you spent on it is like throwing away money. Gold has always been good to resell, you might not get all your money back but you would get something. This you would get absolutely nothing. Either save your money and buy smaller gold pieces or rock silver. Cuba know got plenty of pieces so he gonna review for yall bcuz yall ask but just get some "Real" pieces.
