I’ve never been a huge white car either. 😂 jk but I like the rally red with the black trim and rims. Put the duckbill black spoiler on it with window tints and it will look even better
coming back to this to share: legit a week after this video came out I bought a 2024 civic in this white, in the sport trim. Not because of this video though, my last car got wrecked.
I've had it since september 28th, and have put almost 1,300 miles on it, brand new. I was able to get it from the dealership with no packages or addons. If the dealer won't remove or is adamant about putting them on, go somewhere else.
Here's what I can tell you.
- The interior heats up and cools down quickly. On the colder days, I'm not even out of my neighborhood before it's at the perfect temp. Along with that, the dials and the buttons are clicky and responsive and I love it.
- I do primarily city driving and range anywhere between 32 and 36 mpg. In the sport. It's a 20 minute drive to work, and another 20 back, all in the city. Yeah. I fill up at costco and gas only costs me 24 dollars for a full tank.
- The steering is amazing. I had a jetta that was pretty good, this is just so sporty, its ridiculous.
- It's a quick little car, even in NORMAL mode. It's zippy in sport but at the cost of your MPG and i'm not speedracer.
- The interior is comfortable. I put in LED lightstrips in the floor, and have them in red. Beautiful.
- The seats are no joke. Those buckets keep you firmly in the seat in winding turns.
- It sits very low. Practically everyone who's sat in it has fallen into the seat. I like the fact it sits so low. Cool look.
- Trunk space isn't great, considering I'm moving an entire bedroom 4 states away in August, so I'm worried, but it'll work.
- The headlights are bright and are high quality.
IF YOU WANT TO USE ANDROID AUTO, BUY A USB 3.0 CABLE. The car only accepts USB 3.0 transfer cables. It's a sad point, and I wish it was wireless, but whatever.
I go about 350 miles on a tank of gas, and driving everyday, I go about 3 weeks without filling up.
It's a looker of a car, so don't park it in the street. It will get robbed, or worse, your rims will be stolen. Look it up. It's a real thing.
Also, buy a faraday cage. It blocks RFID signals so robbers can't clone your fob from outside of your house and steal your car.
I also put Decepticon badges on the car because bad guys are cool

@@jed23ify I have a 4 cyl nat. aspirated 2 liter and I don't regret it. I'll have less mechanical issues in the future and I do not require a car that goes super fast off the start.

@@JediBob609 oh damn, sucks your mk5 went out that way. For me it was just a bunch of problems that would’ve cost more than the cars value. The newest civics really do feel like luxury cars it’s crazy what they were able to do for the price, so I’d definitely recommend it. Also very excited for the reliability

@theaxotics9809 Very smooth ride compared to my last car. The remote starter isn't as good as the one I had installed in my last car, but someone told me the ones that come with the car aren't as good, so I guess that's normal. That's my only complaint! It uses regular unleaded, so I'm saving money there. I think you'll love it.

It does look nice and helps prevent the sun beating down your passengers.

Only on the Touring (sedan) or Sport Touring (hatchback) has the built-in XM radio. But you may bluetooth the XM app from your phone to the vehicle.
Is there an app that lets you control the remote start and other options?

In these situations there's a lot of private information for the pros and cons. I would contact your dealership and/or the bank that you are financing with for all the correct information to make the best well informed decision.

What’s the line above the gas tank bars
The line about the gas tank it to help you engage how empty or full your tank is when the bars are missing in reflect of showing the current status of your tank. I hope that I worded that correct for you.

Do the fog lights work?
Only the Touring and Sport Touring has the fog lights standard but you can install aftermarket fog lights on the lower trims.
CarPlay has to be wired?
Yes for the Sport trim

Is a new civic more worth it than a couple of years old used accord?
I don't know. You may have to do some research
I test drove a 2016 accord and the trans was fd. This was at a dealership as certified. After I test drove it I said f it for 10k more without interest I might be able to pay off a civic when my 3 year lease is up. They had a deal for the XL sedan for $350 a month but I said I wanted the sport hatchback and when they said it would be like $450 I said NOPE. The manager behind the counter heard me and the salesman talking and he said he’d do it for $350. I love it. Also in Oklahoma ( not sure if it’s exclusive) I saw a lease to own option for $200 a month but you’d be owing more at the end to buy.
I’m wanting a car with blind spot monitoring with the light on the mirror, does the sport have that? Or is that only on higher trims?
Not on the civics with the 2.0L engines. Higher trims with the 1.5L Turbos will have the Blind Spot

Get the sport. The turbo engines are having head gasket problems and gas getting in the oil.
I would go with the EX 2024, get that turbo engine for more power and exhilarated driving. The EX is Real sports version, this one is great, but more of an exterior package than anything else.

I bought Honda Civic 2024 sport sedan 4 days ago: squeaky sound right front side suspension, low tire pressure front left. After snow last night cruise control doesn't work until snow melted.
Brand new car!?!
Some features will be disable regardless of the brand or make if snow or ice build-up blocks the radar in the grill or blocks the camera on the front windshield. You may have to plan accordingly after a snow storm to ensure they are cleared for proper function.
@@CrazyAutoChris Not on Hyundai Tucson I had before Honda, I was able to use cruise control regardless on weather conditions. Nowadays cars are super sensitive, packed with all kind of sensors.
@goxyeagle8446 I'm reading this as if you're regarding the Adaptive Cruise Control and maybe the other features as in Lane Keeping Assist. I know of two methods for the Adaptive Cruise Control. The first method is using sonar radar like the Honda, while the second would be using cameras like the Subarus. Both methods can still be prevented operating as intended if something is blocking or covering it.
I may have failed to read this correctly and they you are trying to share with me that you're just trying to use standard cruise control without the Adaptive part and my not know how to switch between the two. I do share that in this video and have a separate video as well.

How to turn on fog lights ??? It has fog lights but you didn’t show how to turn them on
Only the Touring and Sport Touring trim levels (2022 - 2024 Honda Civics) has the fog lights in the American Honda Market.
Correct this trim doesn't have them but a cut-out. We just purchased a 2024 Civic Sport Hatchback CVT last Saturday 3/30/24. This is for family member.
The Camera still have low resolution.
It doesn't need super high resolution and not many others are willing to pay for a higher resolution camera as well. But there are aftermarket options if you're interested in exploring them.
I thought this was the facelifted version, maybe it will come out next year.

You may be in a different Honda market because in American Honda Market the orders goes from LX, Sport, EX, and Touring. It may vary in the Canadian Honda Market

That's correct. Unchanged from 2022 to 2024.
But the brand new is a better deal because the used 2021s to 2023s kept their resale value BUT don't have the warranties you'd get with a brand new Honda. Why soend 24k on a used car with no warranties when you can spend 1500 to 2k more and get those? Not to mention you get the satisfaction of knowing no one has mistreated your engine or transmission-its brand new.

@pablovelez2053 we've told you there's no difference. If you bought a 22, don't buy a 24. We're saying for those who haven't bought a civic at all to just buy the 24 because it's got the warranties on the power train and the 2 year free maintenance from Honda. It's a much better deal.
So literally the 2023 and 2024 is the same exact car. Ima stay with the 2023 😂

The video title says “… Standard features”. But really, you should change it to “CVT”, because the car come standard with a six speed manual.
The Sedans don't have a manual transmission option for this generation. If you want that, you have to look at the Hatchback model but then only on the Sport and Sport Touring trims. The Civic Si and Type R comes standard/only in the manual transmission. significant amount of my viewers and buyers purchase the automatic (CVT) transmissions, not the manuals.

After owning 3 Toyota's. I purchased my 4th one 4 months ago and 1st brand new one (2023 Corolla SE) It's been a nightmare. After having right strut mount, shocks and the assembly replaced + 1 engine mount.
I'm left with lots of vibration and front end sounds. Toyota specialists lied that the car is working as it should 😢 I have plenty proof. Next month is the Arbitration.
The treatment and lies brought me here. I will never purchase another Toyota as long as I live. I was asking for a replacement, but now I want my money back.

Its OK that you can't lock your keys in but not as well. If I realize I left my keys an hour after shopping, now my car is gone!😆😂 They should have maybe like a fingerprint sensor to not make it so easy to open.

The whole point of my walkaround videos were to share the standard features and function of the new models and trims levels. Every dealership does something different for their dealer ads, which some customers would normally get at some point and then of course customer wouldn't. Either way I didn't hide it and something that I don't control. I hope that this video answer a few questions regarding the standard features of the Civic Sport Sedan
27k and still no BSM and RCTA 🤦🤦🤦 get with the program Honda. Mazda has it on its lowest models fyi.

Maybe because we haven't been asking for "market adjustments" or above MSRP on our vehicles except for the Type R. Our local customers and community have been happy with the way we conduct business.

what questions do you have about the engine? I don't have any problems letting you know if I have to look it up. Roughly 98% of the customers that I have assisted within my six years are more interested in the standard features and functions between each trim level. So I just trained on the 98% customers. What would you like me to look up about the engine?

But I'm assuming that you realize the current market situation, there's a high demand for any new vehicle since they are in low supply. Not many dealerships are offering discounts on Civics, but if you can find one, take it. This one does retail at $27,900 without your tax titling and doc, which varies from state to state."
