Just to make things clear since there were some comments, the “fake drums” reference by ‘Ern was only talking about a small specific part in one of the buildups in the song. There were some additional programmed pop-type samples layered in to help with the dynamic change in the song. That’s all he meant 😊
There is no fake drummer, believe it or not Paulina Drummer, she plays that perfect. It's more on several songs she does that effect live. For example, TW - Martirio song. Also, just to clear it up, David Draiman, David Bendeth, Lzzy Hale, Dave Grohl, and R.I.P Taylor Hawkins, have respected these girls considering the future of rock. So some veterans know more about this.
@@marcogutierrez437 Sorry, but I have to correct you there. In the original video it clearly says "additional synth and drum programming by Matt Squire" in the description. I think, you can hear the synth-drums best during the "Hush, little baby..." part.

No worries. We know there is someone credited with "additional drum programming" in that one. And you can clearly hear it, don't undersrand why some people freak out about it. Doesn't take ANYTHING away from Pau being an awesome drummer. 🤷♂️
@@michaausleipzig Yeah, personally I respect them for knowing when a little extra production adds to the song but without going too overboard. It goes all the way back to Pau setting up backing tracks for various accents and supports that aren't reliably repeatable in a live setting (guessing some of the feedback effects fall under this) or they just don't have the instruments for.
The Warning, from Monterrey, Mexico write and perform most of their material in English, their second language, yet speak it better than many of us lifers!

I liked how they analyzed it, in my opinion this is not a cover, this is a new version, it is a deconstruction of the original, where they give it the Pop and R&B esotion of Alessia Cara, passing through the Hard Rock of The Warning ending with the original Riff offering a great tribute to Metallica and all this done in a week in the middle of the pandemic, Alessia Cara in Canada and The Warning in Mexico. They took the risk and they did it, they owned the song and it's a song they're playing on their current US tour.
By the way I didn't know your band, but I liked what little I heard at the beginning of the video, I'll go find more about you.
The Warning!! First band that has me truly excited in many, many years (I'm 55). I'm going to see them live for the first time May 14th, the second time May 15th, the third time May 16th and the fourth time July 12th when they join Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless on tour

Not bad considering they were only 21, 19, and 16. And they did the whole rewrite and recording in less than a week due to a tight deadline. These girls are on their way for sure! 🤩

If you look them up, Wikipedia actually shows their birth dates. Dani (Lead Singer, and short for Daniela) just turned 23, Pau is just turned 21(drums, and short for Paulina), and Ali is about to turn or just turned 19 (Bass, and short for Alejandra). Not trying to start a debate here. I had to look them up because I was curious about how old they were now. Because I distinctly remember seeing them cover Sandman about 10 years ago on TH-cam. They were little kids back then. But even then, I thought they were pretty talented.

The Warning sound is reminiscent of classic hard rock with a modern twist. Familiar yet unique. Their original music is awesome. Really. Try it. I'll watch it, as will The Warning Army who will be arriving soon.

The Warning came full circle with this. They blew up when their Sandman cover went viral, the youngest one (on bass) was only 9 at the time I believe. This collab here came just after they got signed. Alessia Cara (who is a rather well-known pop/R&B singer) is under the same label umbrella and got invited to do a cover for Blacklist so they joined up. And of course, they chose Sandman. First song on the album, too.
Their recent original EP, Mayday, is absolute gold, you should check it out.
There not under the same label but being from Canada and Mexico are under the same international management company to help with contracts in the US (most lawyers in the world) and that's how there were suggested to collab.

The Warning are 3 sisters that started playing classical piano. The parents got them the game rock band and they fell in love with the game. Thats how it all started. Ale the bass player is the youngest artist to be sponsored by Spector at 13 years old and is playing a custom 5 string called Ale’s inferno. She just turned 17. They have opened for the Killers and Dep leppard in Mexico along with opening for the Foo Fighters a week before Taylors death. They played the Hell &Heaven fest in 2018 .

Just think, they (The Warning) came up with the musical arrangement in just 2 Days!!! It is very..The Warning..style. They worked all of the recording and arranging, over Skype and music files with Alessia Cara in Canada, as well as the Music Video production. The Warning are located in Monterrey Mexico. The complete project between writing, arranging and recording was finished in a week.
Definitely like when a band makes a cover their own way and bring a whole other flavor the best. These ladies welded some new Metallica gold on this one. 🤘⚡️🤘

The Warning will be opening for Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless early this summer. They opened for the Foo Fighters before Talor Hawkins' death. There is a video where after they played (in front of 55-60 thousand people) Dave ask them how it was. They answer great, he high-fived them, and Taylor told them them were amazing. The Warning are three sisters from Mexico and they are going on tour with Halestorm and Pretty Reckless this summer. Alessia is a pop singer from Canada and they did this whole thing remote which is why you see Alessia only projected on the walls while the Warning are on site. Check out more of the Warning, they are working on their third album and first under Lava records and have released half of it digitally under their Mayday EP and now another single called Money with the video from them opening for the Foo Fighters just before Taylor Hawkins passing and it's called Money. They had two previous independent albums and an EP before their record contract. There currently headlining a US tour. They are so worth checking out, they are more hard rock than metal but they have their moments which might cross over into metal.

The Warning are three sisters from Mexico. They are 22, 20 and 17 years old. They’ve been a band since 2013 when they were so little. They got some highlight after their cover of Enter Sandman went viral on TH-cam in 2014. When they were invited by Metallica via Alessia Cara to do a song for the Blacklist album, they created this song in just one week.
But they are not anywhere near a cover band. They have 2 EPs and 2 full albums. They have 3rd album recorded and first half is already released as an EP. They are amazing songwriters and live performers for sure. All can sing and drummer is also a lead in some songs and she is one of the bests.
Their second album “Queen of the Murder Scene” is a concept album following a storyline. In which it has love, have, obsession, madness and murder. And it has amazing sound too. 🤘
I have some suggestions for the Beanie: Evolve, Disciple or Money official videos. Survive live at Tedx 2017. And for the intro to the concept album Dust to Dust live at Lunario.

Saw The Warning live two days ago. They were so great.
The Warning are awesome. Three sisters that all sing, and are incredible instrumentalists. Alessia Cara invited them to work on this - they were in Mexico, Alessia was in Canada. You should check out more of their original songs (or their first cover of Enter Sandman when they were crazy young). Dany is the lead singer/guitar player, Paulina (Pau) is the drummer, Alejandra (Ale) is the bassist.

Right Now The Warning are Touring the US and Canada, They are in Chicago today, Later this summer they are going on Tour with Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, and Lilith Czar, and in November The Warning are Touring Canada with Three Days Grace.

The Warning are three sisters that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 17) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 20) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 22) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to TH-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma. USA.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, TH-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on TH-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021.
In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica ablum. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song...

On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 song to be released at a later date.

For me, this is a GREAT example of how to take a familiar song and make it your own.
They used the strengths they have and someone (Alessia? ) created a wonderful atmosphere that plays on the eerie nature of the song *the character of the Sandman, paranoia, angst, fear of the unknown, guys playing Gibson guitars, etc... and adds a seductive, slow-moving tempo that ushers you through this little PictureShow of Faust.
And can I just say how much I love Ale in this? (Not talking about her visuals, tho she has become the black swan of this group)
Ale's bass playing can be so smooth constrained, yet expansive. And it is not complex nor does it have to be.

The Warning is out on tour right now and if you want to hear this live (with the Alessia Cara part on a track) you can find it on TheWarningArmy TH-cam channel. The three sisters, Dany (22, guitar and lead vocals), Pau (20, drums and vocals), Ale, (17, bass and backing vocals) covered the original version of Enter Sandman back in 2014 when they were obviously much younger and it has 23 million views here on TH-cam. Now, with the exception of their version of Enter Sandman, they. play their own originals (over 45 I believe including a concept album called Queen of the Murder Scene). Love your take on this and that you were open to hearing a different vision of the song which was inspired originally as a lullaby. I'll be looking for another reaction from you four to more The Warning!
You definitely have to check more 'The Warning' stuff out, they are from Mexico, and they're definitely the next BIG THING !!!
More suggested songs from the Warning - watch their 2014 cover of Enter Sandman to hear them play it as an actual cover when they were 14, 12 and nine years old - it's really good. Current songs you need hear are Money (official video), Disciple (official video), Choke (Live session because the official video often gets blocked), Animosity (live session), Z (live session), Evolve (official video is amazing) and Martirio (official video sung in Spanish). Earlier stuff like XXI Century Blood (official video from their debut album), Dull Knives (from the Warning Cave), Survive (from the Ted Talk they did while still young). Finally, their 2nd album is Queen of the Murder Scene and it's a Rock Novel so it's best heard in order beginning with the killer track Dust to Dust. That album has no videos but the whole album was performed live and videos from the Whiskey A GoGo or Lunario CDMX cover the whole 2nd album. I almost forgot the single Narcissista, also sung in Spanish which is a big middle finger to their critics who didn't like them singing so much in English instead of their native Spanish and it's a killer track. Also, there some nice guitar solos in many songs like Z, Queen of the Murder Scene, Martirio and Narcissista as well as killer breakdowns in songs like Evolve and Survive.

You should check out some of The Warning's original stuff - 'Evolve', 'Disciple', and 'Money' give better examples of what the band is really about. They are currently headlining a tour until June, then joining Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless in July and August, and then joining Three Days Grace in Canada.
This cover is fkn amazing. I didn't know what to expect but it's really creative and sounds awesome. I would like to see them cover more old classic metal bands, who knows what awesomeness they can create in the process..
Glad you enjoyed you're creepy, surreal journey through never never land. Amazing deconstruction of this classic song. They made the creepy lullaby that James Hetfield wrote. You have to jump in the dark rabbit hole of The Warning.
If you want a special treat, check out the Warning's 2014 cover of Enter Sandman (no Alessia Cara on that one). It went viral and was what got the ball rolling for them. It was a more true-to-the-original cover (complete WITH guitar solo), but they were still children! Dany was only 14, Pau was 12, and Ale was only 9 years old (amazingly, she's the tall one now)!
My take on the issue of how to make a cover right:
If you are a 'garage band', some friends playing together, locking into the music and aspiring to play like the artists you like (all that to say amateur, but make it not sound like it's bad :)), then you damn well try to play it like the original. That validates you as a musician: you can play just as well (if you pull it of well that is)
If you are a musician, maybe two or three original albums under your belt, trying to make it as an artist, then it's still fun to play covers like that as an exercise at rehearsal. But if you release a cover to the public, you damn well change it up and make it your own. That validates you as an artist: you bring your own ideas but still honor the original.
In this day and age if I as a listener want to hear the original, I can search it up and listen. I don't need YOU. So you better bring something else.
Metallica asked the bands to change, flip upside down their songs for the Blacklist album, The Warning did that.

I’m assuming since you didn’t say much about The Warning that you’ve never heard of them. I’ll let other fans fill you in more, but they’re definitely gaining traction. They were the main opening act for The Foo Fighters (a week before Taylor Hawkins died) in Mexico, they are currently on tour but will be joining Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless later this summer, they will be opening for Stone Temple Pilots and Three Days Grace.
Oh and your music does sound interesting to me, so I’ll go check that out.

There are some extra production drum parts on the studio version of the song that Pau does not play on the live version of the song. It’s even mentioned in the credits. I think that’s what he meant by fake drum parts.

The Warning are three sisters from Monterey, Mexico who are furthering the genre of rock and roll for the future. They went viral with their original cover of this song when they were like 14, 12, and 9?, got Metallica's attention and invited on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. They have turned down many lucrative record deals because they refused to compromise their integrity by changing their music, band, or management. They are a family in all sense of the word. Their videos are filmed in Mexico with Mexican talent. Their music is hard and often dark, but they are happy, funny, and charming young ladies with a great work ethic. DANIella (lead guitar and vocals) is the oldest. PAUlina (drums and vocals) is the middle sister who breaks drum sticks regularly, and ALEjandra (bass-backing vocals) is the youngest, but the tallest. Yep, they pretty much re-imagined the song, which is kind of what James Hetfield was shooting for when they announced the challenge to a bunch of artists from different genres. Incidentally, this is actually the FIRST track on the Blacklist album from what I've been told. Considering they were working remotely with Alessia to put all this together (hers and The Warning's international manager), came to Monterrey to work with them to help arrange the piece and to project Alessia's video clips on the walls of the old burned out textile factory where they shot the video. Perfect creepy ambience for an equally creepy 'lullaby'! Wait till you catch their new song, MONEY (the official video). Don't even think Pink Floyd.. this is totally new and different, and they debuted it at the Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City, opening for The Foo Fighters on March 15th, in front of 55,000+ people.😮 This happened a couple weeks before we lost Taylor Hawkins (R.I.P.), and Dave Grohl decided to cancel the rest of their tour for this year.😢 These young ladies have come a long way, and are well on their way to dominating the rock world with their unique brand of music.😉 🤘😎🤘 Great reaction y'all... thank you!👍

Dany only solos when the song calls for it. She's an excellent technical guitarist -- listen to Z -- but her philosophy is more like David Gilmour, in terms of melodic solos that fit the song. Queen of the Murder Scene, Narcisista, The End, and Show Me The Light are good examples. The latter two are ballads, and the solos aren't technical, but they fit the emotional themes exceptionally well/. The sneering, contemptuous sound she creates in Narcisista perfectly fits the message of the song.
This version of Enter Sandman is brilliant, in my opinion. They are playing it on tour, which in my opinion shows great respect for Metallica; it isn't simply something for the project, it's a song intended for performance.

Their parents loved music and the kids saw many videos of rock concerts growing up. They started in music early when Dany and Pau were enrolled in music initiation class at ages 5 and 3 respectively. Ale´ was too young at that time but when she was old enough learned the same things. They took classical piano lessons and were quite good. When Dany was about 7 their dad bought them the video game Rock Band, and everything changed. They fell in love with rock music and performing (even though it was just a game). When Dany was 8 her dad asked her if she wanted to take up another instrument (along with piano). She chose the guitar. Later Pau chose the drums and Ale´ chose the bass. Ale had only been playing bass for about a month when they, as a group, started playing and recording songs.
They practiced hard and in 2014 when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old put out a TH-cam video for their grandparents to see how they had progressed in their music. That video was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman, and it went viral. To date it has well over 23 million views and has gotten praise from such notable bands as Metallica and many others. The girls were completely caught off guard by this and had to make a decision. They quit school and began homeschooling so as to have more time to devote to their music. They practiced 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together every day- and they still do.
Their Enter Sandman video was also noticed by Ellen DeGeneres, and they made their US TV debut on The Ellen Show in 2015. The girls were trying to raise enough money to attend the 5-week classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Ellen found this out and she and Target presented each of the girls with a $10k check to attend those classes. Because Ale´ was only 10 years old she had to get a special exemption to attend but she got it.
Harmonix, the makers of the Rock Band video game, also noticed the girls and invited them to come to their facilities in Boston for a tour. While there they got to preview the soon-to-be-released Rock Band version IV and were completely caught off guard to see that their song Free Falling was in the game! They started the band because of the Rock Band video game so having their song in the game was amazing to them.
In 2015 they also released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was an exploratory group of eclectic songs designed to sort out their style.
In 2016 they were invited to participate in a Ted X talk at the University of Nevada where they told their story of how they got into music and started the band- they played 3 great songs (2 originals and a cover of The Foo Fighter’s Pretender). They were a hit and were invited back in 2017 where they talked about producing and launching their first complete LP called XXI Century Blood. They played 3 original songs from that album and wowed the crowd again.
In 2018 they released their 2nd album Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey thru unrequited love- from love, to infatuation, to obsession, to murder, to remorse. It is an amazing album, and every song is performed with great passion. In 2019 this album was nominated for the Independent Music Awards.
Their Mexican critics called them Cultural Traitors because they did not sing in Spanish and did not sing the traditional Spanish tunes. The Warning’s response was the song Narcissista. It debuted at the end of the 2019 Foro Didi concert in Mexico. The song says, “You say you pray for us, but we don’t see much praying”, and “you don’t know us”, and “you just talk to talk”, and basically tells those critics to Kiss Off! It was purposely written and sung in Spanish to make sure those critics understood every word, and the lyrics were put on the big screen behind them during the performance. You can understand why Pau sung it with so much passion!
The Warning was always an independent band and used such tools as Patreon and Kickstarter to fund their efforts. In 2020, after 7 months of negotiations to keep much of their independence, The Warning signed with Lava/Republic records for a 5-record deal. At the time they were 20, 18, and 15 years old.
Their first offering from the new record deal is the EP Mayday. It is a 6-song half album of amazing music.
Dany is a very accomplished guitar player and sings lead most of the time. Pau is a world-class drummer and sings backup and lead (lead about 20% of the time). Ale´ is an amazing bass player and sings backup and lead when necessary (a bit shy about singing lead). All 3 play keyboards as needed and can jump in to cover singing lead in any song when needed.

Metallica asked Alessia Cara to do a cover of Enter Sandman for their Blacklist album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. 53 artists were asked to take those iconic songs and do whatever they wanted with them. Alessia had no idea what to do but because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed the song and recorded it in one week, using David Bendeth to mix and edit that song (David did the amazing work on their Mayday EP). They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. Metallica's James Hatfield said this song was written to be a lullaby. So The Warning rearranged the original song keeping that in mind.
Their voices blend really well with Alessia's. Their harmonies are spectacular. Their arrangement is fabulous. Their video is amazing.
Grammy Award winning artist Alessia Cara is more of a sultry soulful Pop singer/songwriter. She and The Warning share the same international agent who suggested that she collaborate with TW. So with very little time, TW jumped at the opportunity; rearranging the song and recording the music and vocals in less than a week!
The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called Mayday. "Disciple" is my favorite track!
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 22, 20 and 17 years old and have already written and arranged #44 original songs all by themselves!
The oldest, Dany (Daniela) plays guitar, keyboards, lead vocals on 75% of their songs, backing harmonies. Pau (Paulina) plays drums, keyboards, lead vocals on 25% of their songs, backing harmonies. Ale` (Alejandra) plays bass, keyboards, backing harmonies. The drummer Pau begins writing around 75% of their songs. In her songs, she starts with a concept, then works on chord progressions and basic song structure on piano while adding lyrics. She then brings it before her sisters and together they transpose each individual instrument's part; making changes along the way. They also complete the lyrics together; since Pau may only bring one verse and a chorus. All 3 must unanimously approve of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Nothing is set in stone until it makes it through the gauntlet. Pau has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both Dany and Ale` write equally great songs; just not as many.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I caught them in Berkeley, California last week. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.
They are one week into their first North American Tour. They just played Seattle and Portland. 😪

If you want a straight up cover by The Warning then their cover in 2014 when they were 9, 12 and 14 years of age includes the guitar solo from Dany.
They have just opened for The Foo Fighters on March 15th. They are touring with Halestorm and Pretty Reckless later in the year. They are a band on the brink of international recognition. I am from the UK and will travel to Texas for their concerts in May. Try songs like Choke and Evolve for a more heavier sound. 🤟

James Hetfield was talking about this during an interview. He was saying that Metallica's Manager recruited 52 separate artists to cover the Black Album. And they were all encouraged to bring their own versions and in whatever language their origin is. But, even though The Warning are from Mexico, all 3 sisters speak perfectly good English.

Nice reaction. I just wanted to comment on the mention of the PRS guitar... I think that black one is a loaner that Dany used in a couple of videos for the all black look. There's a behind the scenes video of the recording of this track and it looks like Dany uses 3 different guitars (PRS, Manson, Rick Toone). I think I saw a comment on that video joking that Dany said "We can't be finished recording... I still have 2 more guitars" or something like that. They did do a more faithful cover long ago... more as an etude, if you will. They were ages between 9 and 14 then, though. Dany did do the solo that time. They don't do many solos any more.
