Thank you for noticing the ridiculous accuracy of Ale’s bass playing, professionalism and time and technique in this video…. She has always blown me away as the most technically flawless and quickest to master new things in this group, and Dany and Pau are both super quick learners and amazing players as well… but Ale seems extremely gifted, like this is all very simple for her, and time and pitch are just perfect as though it is obvious to her. Well, she does have perfect pitch, but apparently has perfect time as well, according to her sisters and their former producer who tested them all and worked on improving their time accuracy

If I’m not mistaken, both Dany and Pau are on record as Ale being the best overall musician in the family. Which is staggering, given the context.

Glad you mentioned Ale's playing in the 2014 cover. Being a trio, she has to carry the melody line during the guitar solo, and most reactors don't even mention how well she pulls that off. The amazing part about the Blacklist album version is that they did it on short notice. Within a week or 10 days after being invited to participate in the project, they had the song written and recorded. And that includes collaborating with Alessia over Zoom meetings. And of course turning the song inside out and making it their own.

So Dany and Pau were already playing for six years in the first video; Ale for 2 years - ages here 14, 12, and 9. Their parents are not musicians, but music lovers. The family used to watch concert DVDs of Queen, AC/DC, Pink Floyd while eating popcorn. Back story on the prayer - Ale did the original; During the recording of the reimagined version, she was recovering from wisdom teeth surgery; so Pau stepped in. But… the prayer is on a different beat from the drums so Dany does it live.

I am glad you did the video when they were 14, 12 and nine and then the Blacklist video. I believe Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and due to travel restrictions they filmed Alessia in Canada and that is why they did the projection which was genius. As for tomorrow's video of Z, I believe it's the show opener and I love the performance and Dany does do a guitar solo in the song. Z is a favorite of mine.

Hey guys! No, their parents (and nobody in their close family) are musicians. Their Mom is a dentist and their Dad is an engineer (But, he did have a small recording studio, so I understand). They were just very big music lovers and exposed the girls to rock at a young age.
Also, you mentioned Ale being "locked in". Ale is a human metronome and also has perfect pitch. Now that she is grown, she has very long fingers perfect for the bass. Dany has freakishly flexible fingers and a MONSTER voice, perfect for a guitar playing frontwoman. Pau is compact, powerful, super coordinated and graceful, and sings perfect harmonies. Perfect for a rock drummer. It's as if each one of them was literally born to play their respective instruments. They are 3 unicorns that happen to be sisters. LOL

At such a young age, they were already playing better than many adults. I can't say it enough - Ale - at that age - is playing at a world class level. She is frightningly accurate and has gotten even more so. I have never heard her make a mistake and the only time that she dropped notes was when she fell down, on stage. She kept playing, but had her hand pulled away from the strings for 2 bars, when the crew rushed over to stand her back up. She is a rock.

I have to admit, I am not a Metallica fan, and I was sick of this song, until this new version came along. A lullaby where Alessia very sweetly puts you to bed, then Dany rouses the troops, Pau shares a little prayer, the angel chorus comes to sing you to sleep, then Boom, the hammer drops. I think of this new take very much as the female version of the Sandman tale. So good. Delicate, powerful, soothing, strong, gentle, fierce-all at the same time. I love this one.

Luis (father) is a tech. He built their music room aka *The Cave.*
      Many (mother) was a Dentist.
The best way to remember their ages is the following.
Dany ---> you take the year. The last two digits is how old Dany is.
Example: 2014's *Enter Sandman* video. Dany was 14.
Pau is 2 years younger than Dany. In 2014, Pau was 12.
Ale is 3 years younger than Pau (5 years younger than Dany). In 2014, Ale was 9.
With the 2021 *Enter Sandman w/ AlessiaCara* music video. Dany was 21 in 2021. Pau was 19. And Ale was 16.

They created the song back in March of 2021 (released in Sept 2021), and as a last minute invite, by a label mate Pop Music singer. Because of the pandemic issues, they used Zoom to work with Alessia. The girls in Mexico, and Alessia in Canada. The producer was in MX working with all of them, and they did everything in 7 days, and got the recording submitted to Metallica to beat the deadline. The 4 of them worked out great together, and the Harmonizing was so good, that it was even a shock to them. We're talking about a group of sisters that harmonize so well, that when they do it, it's known as their 4th member of the band.
This song created quite the buzz in the industry. They rode this buzz as they released their EP Mayday the following month in October 2021. When they hit the road to promote that EP, they also played this new version of Enter Sandman, and every crowd at 100 shows in 2022, went bonkers for it. They still play it to this day, even as they push new music. It's a legacy song for them. It's Iconic. It Rock's. It's The Warning personified. 🤘⚡🤘

I saw the original one when it first came out. I thought "what can these little girls do with Metallica?!". Then they showed me. I've been on the whole journey.

I first found The Warning via the OMV of Enter Sandman with Alessia, and I followed it with their original cover. Then I spent the rest of the day watching tons of their videos, just in a state of shock and happiness. I think most of TWA knows this experience.....

They are Instagram friends with Band Maid and last year they met face to face at the AfterShock festival in Sacramento. Everyone wants them to tour together! I have read that Alejandra Villarreal, bassist is the most musically talented of the sisters.

re: 2014 *Enter Sandman* cover :
for a trio, much less a young trio, this is fantastic! slightly different but a full wall of sound filled with raw power and grit... the child's prayer with Pau and Ale is beautiful and takes me back to my own youth and bedtimes with one of my parents coaching me along... the power of Pau on the drums, Ale's driving bassline, and Dany rocking out with her James Hetfield scowl are... whoa! then you think who needs two guitars when you have one Dany? 😹
also, i'll note that the wall behind the camera is a full mirror so all the girls can see themselves playing... this was done so they could work on their stage presence... the wall on Ale's (bass) side also has a window into the equipment side of their studio known as "The Warning Cave" or "The Cave" for short...
    re: reimagined *Enter Sandman* :
DPA/TW and Alessia Cara certainly understood the assignment!
Alessia Cara is a Grammy winning Canadian Pop and R&B singer... they had 10 days to rip this rendition of Enter Sandman from the ether and make it a darker, more eerie, and a more haunting lullaby than the original metal version... they made the deadline and got this OMV for it to boot! one of the reasons Alessia is projected on the wall is because this was during the pandemic and she was in Canada while DPA/TW were in Mexico...
this reimagining and performance were done because they, and many other artists from numerous genres, were invited by Metallica to take one of the songs from the original "Black" album, keep the lyrics and change it up how ever you like... play it backwards, upside down, whatever... this was all for the 30th anniversary of the "Black" album... all the submissions from 50someodd artists were put on the 2021 "The Metallica Blacklist" album... the proceeds from the album sales are split 50/50 with half going to Metallica's "All Within My Hands Foundation" and the other half being donated to a charity of the participating artists' choice.
in the OMV, Dany (guitar) and Alessia share the lead vocals until they are in the three doorways when Dany takes over and Alessia does more of the background oooohs and aaaahs... the version they play in concert has Dany doing the vocals with a backing track of Alessia's ohhhs and ahhhs... of course Ale (bass) and Pau (drums) join in with their angelic harmonies in both... this is a fantastic reimagining of the iconic original... this 60+ year old rocker loves both versions of Enter Sandman but this one by TW and Alessia gets more airtime these days 😹
    TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

Alessia was projected because she was in Canada while they were in Mexico - and during COVID, had ONE week to write and record the song to get it on Metallica's album.

Their parents loved music but were not musicians. I think The Warning are the best thing to happen to music since The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath. Maybe more recently, Guns N Roses and Motley Crue. The only difference is the way bands have to market themselves today. We no longer have record stores and rock magazines, so it takes viral videos. I believe if The Warning had been around in the 80's rock scene, they would have been one of the biggest

❤Ale is a human metronome. I think your confusing lilacs father with theirs. I believe their dad was in construction. The equipment was purchased solely for the girls. Ale is a Spector premier bassist since 14. She front and center on their site. All are super talented.

This has been answered already, but no...their parents are not musicians, but are music lovers. Luis is an audio engineer and Monica is a dentist! Notice the perfect smiles! Watch their live performance at their school Liceo 2015 and you'll notice that the girls were already using in ear monitors and wireless guitar transmitters! #APDVillaReality

There is a recording of them playing Hysteria by Muse which has a very difficult bass line and you should hear Ale kill that line. I believe that was a year after this song and Ale was 10.

The Warning did this version of Enter Sandman at the Teatro Metropolitan and is well worth a watch, even if you don't react to it. It's pretty staggering how well their live stuff compares to the studio versions. I love the fact that their live versions have more drive, more grit and more energy than anything done in a studio.

I couldn't believe how much Ale has grown. She was clearly the smallest in the original video, being the youngest. But now! She is clearly the tallest of the three. I like how they put their own mark on this song while still paying homage to Metallica. Well done!

Your comment about Ale is spot on, because Dany and Pau have always said she's the perfectionist, almost a machine said Pau once (in a good way of course).
