Wow this is your first video? Its really good, its well made, timing perfect, editing, great special effects. Great song choice also, I used to love this song but for personal reasons I don't anymore but you did not know that.....I mean its right for Alastor even though I do think he does have a good side/morals they are just twisted but there though. And Angel Dust is a victim of abuse!

I like how Vaggie, despite knowing Al's history and knowing what He's capable of, still stands her ground against him. And makes her stance and feelings to him very well known.

Yeah, she totally was mostly protecting Charlie and her dreams/goals for this hotel.
That’s why I love Vaggie, she’ll protect anyone without a second thought, even if she knows what she’s dealing with.

Hello Alastor i'm the sister of angel dust
I find this AMV revealing of what most fans don't seem to see with Alastor. They find him as a fun and interesting character, and I'll be 100 I agree with them. But he also sends off every alarm bell and red flag in my mind in this story. He is the smiling antagonist, I am sure of it. In the pilot, he literally managed to get the entirety of the Hotel under his thumb with little to no effort. A failing hotel and the daughter of satan is indebted to him, and the hotel now has actual staff that will no doubt be leaned upon. Alastor can now snap his fingers and the entire operation colapses under its own weight, and he is there to enjoy the way the building falls.
My theory is that he is just using Charlie to get to Lucifer as a means to take over Hell. It's perfect leverage, why else target the spawn, and for free at that. That's just my opinion!

@@AshenApollo exactly, which also leads to my theory that when the entertainment of watching the demons fail to find redemption, that his ultimate entertainment will be the failure of the hotel itself.
If there ever was to be a twist, it might be Alastor's redemption. That would be an outcome not even Alastor would forsee.
I have another theory, because he said that he likes to watch people (demons) they suffer from their helplessness, in attempts to improve. Suddenly, after playing enough, he will simply destroy the hotel and will already be watching the suffering of Charlie and the others?

Pure talent
There's a single "inconsistency" with Alastor's design that I only just noticed here. Sometimes Alastor's fingertips are totally red from final joint to nail tip, and sometimes just his fingernails are red. (And I put quotes on "inconsistency" because I don't want to watch this specific video too closely too many times in a row to clarify whether that's a true inconsistency or just one hand's one way and one hand's the other way. The special effects on this video make it hard to be sure what I'm looking at for figuring that out for sure.)
Watching a different video with a lot fewer special effects confirms that yes, it's a true inconsistency. Now I just have to decide not to let it bother me. (That'll be hard; I've got something resembling a hand fetish.)
