Am l the only who's upset because of how his personality ended up being changed after the pilot?... this video is legit pilot Alastor supremacy and l'm here just for it.
His personality was far too flamboyant to be kept, the way I see it. He was unhinged and stole the show every single second, which is good when he is meant to have a starring role (like in the Pilot) but makes it extremely difficult to insert him in a context of multiple characters where he's not constantly the main lead. Also, this video was published way before Hazbin Hotel aired, so the Pilot was the only thing available.
@@dinorex3464 some of the characters personality changed in season 1, not only him but also someone like angel dust. Right now, l don't think it's so big of a problem, but l hope it doesn't changed again in season 2, you know how hazbin and helluva writing went like.
@tiana2-666 Well, Angel Dust is pretty much the same, he's just more fleshed out because he is one of the main characters and didn't really do much in the Pilot. The writing for the series is pretty consistent, so I'm pretty sure they ain't changing anything more.
I don't find it hard to justify. I just tell myself he dropped the 'talk show host' persona when he felt he didn't need to play nice.

I have a head cannon that Alastor can just auto tune his voice whenever he wants, makes my imagination go crazy with funny moments--
I'm curious to see how season 2 goes. If you notice close Alastor sees the painting of Charlie and her parents in the pilot and his smile changes briefly. From there whenever he's around Charlie his smile seems slightly strained. My guess is that all this has to do with Lillith and a deal as well as that 7 year time thing the show keeps talking about.
