I had 2 rattlesnakes that lived in my yard by the beach. I would never see them, until a week before company was scheduled to visit. Their timing!! I'd try to water them off to the back alley, but they always returned! We have rats too, so they are good at keeping the numbers down!
I'm so thrilled to see you looking so well and happy my friend! Miss our catch ups, but I'm coming to see ya mid next year.. Merry Christmas big fella and of course to the family too. Cheers Mike
That is only a little one. I enjoyed the days of Snakes Alive and I miss doing shows and playing with venomous snakes. Still have one of my old Snakes Alive singlets and wear it occasionally. Sucks getting old because I can only really do non venomous snakes now like the local pythons and common trees. Local snake catcher did ask for my help the other week though. He had an Eastern Brown snake that had been caught in bird netting and had tons of it still on it. He came here and he held it while I cut the netting off. He has also sent me out on the odd rescue for pythons and stuff when he is not in town. Miss doing herps but my bats keep me busy. Take care Murray and Merry Christmas to you and your family. Hugs!
Muzz the snake and reptile handler,I remember this conversation between yourself and I,how good are you bro, always helping, that's why we love you bro,Yewww
Been diving around Nusa Penida and seen some big oriental rat snake. On Bali now (28th) and will soon be heading off for Labuan Bajo for some diving and lizards... was in Indonesia same season 2017 and was actually dry (but got Agung) in comparison with this ;-) But it's green and nice and less people :-)
Alan and I saw a huge python which was eating a bat at Purà Goa Lawah bat cave near Lovina many years ago. We took a photo of it and the locals said we werevery lucky to see a snake at the cave as they hadn't seen one. It's better to see a python than a dugite which we have in Western Australia, they're deadly.
I had a 9 footer like this one 2 weeks ago in Sesetan, but we were not lucky enough to catch for relocation, hope it does not end up on a plate somewhere!
Hi Muzza , thanks for saving the snake. I was in Bali with a mate of mine in Kuta six weeks before the bomb went off we were actually drinking in the Sarah club Someone was looking after us thank God for God the funniest thing I had in Bali was a lady called me monkey bum monkey body I thought I was most Alario‘s apparently , monkey bum is an insult my grandkids today still call me monkey, bum or monkey b
I taught in Borneo for a few years. It's appalling how little respect the locals have for the wildlife, and the abundant stray dogs and cats. They were terrified of snakes, monitor lizards and were cruel to them.
I shouldn't have watched this with the Mrs around, she's having 2nd thoughts about our trip to bali in March lol either way I'm getting on that beer cycle 😂
Some years ago just after Jokowi got elected from memory we were caught in floods in Jakarta which basically stopped the whole city for a week or more, we were actually stranded in our 5 star hotel for a few days because of the water blocking access. Even then they were saying in the media it was caused by plastic rubbish blocking the drainage canals and how something needed to be done about it. Hopefully the new President isnt just making the same noises and will actually do something, its a huge issue right across Indonesia.
Those storm drains are gross enough in the dry season. God only knows what is in the water that you are walking in 🤢 I cannot wait to get back out to Kerobokan 🤙
The waste disposal is an issue all over Indonesia unfortunately, which can be addressed with educating the younger generations to not litter and then the government investing in recycling schemes that reward people to recycle plastics etc.Id also be wearing gumboots walking through that water.
Your comments on snakes eating all the dogs and cats or ending up on the dinner table show you to be egotistical and striving to be more "sensational" than "factual" Raise your game!
You’re a man of many talents Muzza.

Enjoy the lack of drainage and cringe expat culture.
Live in Jakarta now so not really expecting anything too different
Snakes and Croc's......are Tourist being warned about them in SE-Asia in general?
Cheers
from Cairns
Thats another reason why we only go to Bali in the dry season
It's not worth going in any season.
The government needs to fix this problem with the dranage tourism pays enough to fix this problem
Good luck with that!!
The money is siphoned off by corruption, everything is corrupt.

Why did you let it out of the bag then put it back in the bag?
No such thing as "if it's flooded, forget it" here in Bali 😂

Hi Muzza, hope to meet you late Febuary.
The other guy swears like a Malaysian - kepala bapak dia means your father's head and bapak dia means your father. Kahkahkah.
Why would they eat the snake? 😢
Wowww so brave..
I wanted to see the python!
Is that location you are recording in Sanur?

That water would have sewage through it I imagine
We used to live with any animals.. 😅
What happens with the sewerage system under these conditions?? 😮

Bali still looks a picture postcard even in the wet season ❤
So brave om bule
Shouldn't the 'Tourist Tax' be used for cleaning up the environmental issues.
Sorry-I didn't realize he was at the end. Do the locals eat those snakes-I imagine it's good lean meat.
Crikey Muzza
I wouldn't wear that shirt to a sh.t fight.
Need to educate the locals, change their attitude, take a bit of pride in their area. It's only a python, plenty of poor rats around also
Life in the third world.
ONE snake BFD
Youzers.
Hello Muzza
Hey mate how are you doing
I wouldn't live there if you paid me.
