2017 Mercedes’ E 300 code P06DA00 (The actuation of the valve of the oil pump in the combustion engine has an electrical fault or open Circuit). Someone told me it’s oil pump solenoid need to be replaced, the question can I do it from the bottom or I have to remove the motor and flip it in order to replace it, can you please guys help!!!

Is the solenoid usually ok? Just replace wiring?

Should Mercedes’ not fix this for free as a recall
Why so complicated & vry tight space. Cant Merc Engineer design such more user friendly & expect car failure for repair or wear tear issue.
