Hey Matt the next time you're in San Francisco, think about taking the Pacific Coast Highway to the Redwood National Park it's a long drive almost to the border with Oregon but the roads are fantastic and you can see some of the oldest trees in the world. The performance looks like an awesome car and the drive would put its handling, and braking prowess to the test.

I came here to say this! Some of the worlds best driving roads are within an hour of San Francisco and Mat avoided them all while mocking the boring city streets he drove on. Highway 9, 17, 35 (Skyline Blvd), 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) heck even 280 is a fun drive. There are endless fun mountain roads in the area.

If it's anything like the C7 RS7 the bhp figure you will get from an ECU tune will be identical whether you have a standard or a performance version of the RS7. So unless you love the blue stitching, blue raw carbon, alcantara trim inserts and the forged wheels, save yourself £20k, buy the normal version and tune it. Assuming the normal one is still available, I understand in certain markets it has been withdrawn and performance edition is all you can get.

As someone who lives in San Francisco you guys really missed out on some amazing scenic twisty roads to film on and test the car. What’s sad is you guys were not too far away from them either but probably just didn’t know where to go.
I had the exact same thoughts. I live in marina district and am 15 mins from some epic driving roads in Marin. I’m lucky enough to have a corvette c8 and rip through the canyons all the time. You just gotta know where to go!

You should drive it here in Germany on the Autobahn but i'm glad you got invited to test it in San Franciso, even if you got Limits there, still great looking Environment! I just saw one of these 2 Days ago here on the Autobahn with Dealership Plates and It not only sounded better than i expected and was passing me effortless while i was driving 200km/h (120mph) so the Driver drove probably 220-230km/h (136mph-142mph) Prost & Cheers from Frankfurt, Germany
@carwow, FYI If you park in SF on a "hill street", you have to turn the front wheels to make an angle with the street. In case parking brake fails, the car will not "stampede" downhill but the front wheels will be blocked by walk path curb.
I didn’t realize the RS7 (or regular A7 for that matter) could get any more beautiful. The little details on the performance package (especially the wheels!) make this the most attractive sedanishkindofthing on the market.
This is gold and truly illustrates what it’s like to live with a sports car. This is why I’ve shifted a bit more towards 4x4s. At least in Colorado I can use my 4x4 to its full potential.

I think the Audi RS7 performance can be very interesting especially because the ecu tune is so easy to go +700hp stock
unfortunately stock the car is still slower than a M5 Comp.
I'm afraid that even then it will be boring, after all, it's an Audi.🙃
Almost every new german car goes 700+ with Ecu tune look at the new M3 with only 510ho can reach easiky 700ho with only a tune

I've driven Lombard St. in my '16 Tundra. Admittedly, you don't get to drive at any noticeable speed, but the smile never leaves your face.
