    I’ve only heard her mention her brother once before. I loved that he shared the stage with her that night.

    I don't care what the naysayers say about Oprah. Ms Oprah Winfrey is the REAL deal. I grew up watching her back in her Chicago days. My mom and my sisters and I would ALL tune into CBS @3pm weekdays to watch and learn from Ms. Winfrey and her knowledgeable experts and her in studio audiences.
    Oprah was the one who educated me on being my AUTHENTIC self. I hid my sexuality from my immediate family for years (even though they already knew). Ms. Oprah's show taught me and mom and sisters a whole slew of things about acceptance, etc. I watched Ms Oprah from the very beginning 1987 to when The Oprah Winfrey show became syndicated until the very last show in the early 2000s.
    Oprah is my idol and mentor. Always has been and will be until I leave this earth.
    Thank you, Ms. Oprah, for all that you taught this little country boy growing up in a small Missouri town. I just turned 59 years old at the first of 2024. My mom, who was a huge fan of yours, has since passed away in 2018.
    Ms Oprah keep being YOU!! Haters are gonna hate. You still have millions of long-time fans who love you ❤. I LOVE YOU, MS OPRAH WINFREY!!! 😘 💋😘💋

    I don't really understand all the hate Oprah gets. Is she perfect? Of course not. However, she has (seemingly) done so much good in this world, but for some reason, people choose to focus on the (alleged) negative.

      Have you ask people who dislike Oprah, why they dislike Oprah? There is a reason

    • @jojosmooth999
      @jojosmooth999 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because she is a sellout🐍. She stabbed michael jackson in the back. And betrayed black men while they are innocent. But she says nothing about harvey weinstein cause he is white and powerfull?? Do your research

      @@misshelloareyouthere Yes and most, if not all, are things that people have allegedly heard about her. It's never anything set in concrete facts.

    Thanks to Oprah (on behalf of this gay former fat, bullied kid who would come home from school and cry, eat, watch Oprah and know the future would be better after listening to learning from the best talker, auntie, teacher, mother-sister-friend figure ever!) She was the hope & inspiration many of us needed and at just the right time. Forever grateful Lady O! 🙏 💜💜

    Say whatever you choose about Oprah Winfrey but I don't know of any person whose commentary about almost anything holds me like no one can. When she speaks I am placed in this trance. I am attached to her every word. Captivated by her voice and the eloquent use of the English language. She may have her share of hatas' but I ain't one of'em. I LOVE HER and so proud to have lived while she lived. Thank you Oprah Winfrey. You are just one of a handful of celebrities whom I truly admire.

    Mud-slinging without any concrete proof to back up whatever the accusation of du jour might be and trying to besmirch someone’s reputation for the heck of it says a lot about the people engaging in that practice, they are filled with negative energy. People are entitled to their own opinions but NOT their own facts as the late Mr Moynihan said.

    Oprah Winfrey started from nothing. She didn't not have an easy life. Which is why the colour purple resonated with her when she read it. And she vowed that if she ever became successful which would make the movie a reality. She and Alice walker are very good friends. Theme of the book is of course sexual assault and domestic violence in the deep south. Something that Oprah knows alot about. Oprah is very intelligent and read alot as a child. And she spoke alot. She was verbally very able
    But where she got to where she wanted to be another much more ruthless Oprah emerged in the 1980s. When she started her show in the 1980s. There nothing to differentiate her and Donaghue or Jerry springer. She made her base in Chicago. She outlasted her rivals and thumbed her nose at Jerry springer. Which she blasted as tacky. Springer found that comment hypocritical as both Oprah did the same show when they both started. Springer outlasted the Oprah Winfrey show. Oprah was the only self made African American billionaire. She traded the letter 0. Demanded publishing loyalty when kitty kelly was writing unofficial autobiography and sent the legal rottweilers after anyone who was thinking of publishing kitty Kelly's tell all book on her. She gave stuff away to her audiences in controlled way. In a very rare trip to Ireland Oprah appeared on the late late show to hype her bomb of a movie called the beloved and god love gay byrne Oprah was so rigidly out of her comfort zone that they only thing she could talk about was the movie and nothing else. She seemed very cold and unfriendly. And didn't talk about much else. But Oprah is all about control. There have been rumours for years about her and gayle King and I don't if any of that stuff is true. When you get to be a power player like Oprah you become involved in politics
    And there are liberals and conservatives who don't like that. Social media is very good at making up stories or beefs. Nobody really knows what happens behind the scenes. I don't know Oprah Winfrey but I have seen her shows etc. It seems that she keeps her nose out of sm dramas. Maybe one day Oprah will write the full account of her life. When she gets to the end of her life. Who knows

    If you do enough good in public, people will ignore the snakish things you do in private behind closed doors.
