Absolutely, this is by design, Rust's the best language on the planet, but it requires excitement to get through the early friction. Folks like LGR and I are trying to flatten that difficulty curve 💪

@@NoBoilerplatebut I also feel like rust by design(prob unintentional) has a a big barrier. I'd Consider myself an average programmer. I felt much more welcoming with Go. No matter how many times I try with Rust it I'm always lost. Even if I learn the language constructs, writing normal software with it is so hard. Not a lot of people write systems programming. Hopefully everything changes over time.

On the on hand it's a nice twist to put ThePrimeagen at this ranking. Otherwise it would not be a surprise.
I would have expected LGR to remain a bit more humble and just go for one of the 2 top ones. Not Rust Heaven. But it's hard to take serious.

Code To the Moon is such an incredibly great channel due to how "down to eart"(?) it is. I can't quite put it into words, but most channels seem like, in one way or another, have some sort of gimmick (which is ok, it's a business after all). But he genuinely feels like he's just happy to share stuff for OUR sake. I'd easily put him in CL tier if not for the fact that he's not exclusively a Rust channel per se.
Kind of a random rumble on my part, but oh well, it's the internet so I'm allowed to :D
No i don't think prime deserves to be the king crab tier. You can't put him on the same tier as Jon Gjengset, he doesn't dedicate all his content to Rust anyway, he mostly posts ragebait on the rust "drama"
