She said she used 42-45 size 5 diapers total. 25 for the bottom, 12 for the middle, and 5 for the top.

I'm confused as to why you didn't cover the entire diaper cake. In the diaper cakes I make they completely covered around the entire cake, as well as decorated with accessories. You can look at the cake from any angle and see the different items attached. I just think it's very deceiving to say that you are going to show 2 different themes of diaper cakes, but they aren't really completed. You just have the illusion of a completed diaper cake.
